We were sceptical about a single temperature iron but it works really well. No more melted residue from cheap kids school trousers. Just keep it topped up with water and it works brilliantly. Exceptional value for money

Great that no temperature adjustment is required. Long cable. Seems to make ironing quickeralways a plus.
A little heavy compared to previously owned irons but you do get used to it.

Really wouldn’t sure if this iron could do the job. I have recently wrecked to satin nighties, my old iron melted them! This iron hasn’t damaged them at all, despite not having a temperature control. You can iro a cotton shirt and then go straight back to a delicate material. Don’t know how it works but it seems to just know the temperature to use?? I do find I need to increase the steam to get the creases out of cotton and easily creased items. Really pleased with purchase. Oh and it has a really good length lead. My only down side is that the iron is heavier than my previous one.

Very good iron not too heavy and has a very good sized water tank. I was online looking for an iron for hours and I kept coming back to this one. Very good heat and constant steam is great plus you have the button for extra steam if needed. The switch that you can choose to set heat is based on the steam. Off low or high and just iron. Highly recommended you won’t be disappointed. It does have a little water in the tank when you receive it that’s just from when it was tested!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good

No need to mess around with the settings. You just plug it in and get the job done in no time. I also like the auto switch off feature for when you get called away for longer than expected.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI am such a considerate husband that I bought this as a present for my wife, and she absolutely loves it. She was apprehensive at first about putting the iron directly onto delicate fabrics, but there was no need to worry because the iron performs brilliantly. No more sorting of clothes and fiddling with temperature controls. It performed so well we even purchased a second one for her sister.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI really wasn’t sure whether this iron would be any good and admittedly without the water for steam it doesn’t always get hot enough but add water for the steam and it’s brilliant! Now two of my daughters have one too.

This iron is the best iron I’ve ever bought I’ve even bought one for my mum
It irons anything and everything without fuss and the plate doesn’t get residue or stickyness and keeps really clean
It is slightly heavier than others but I don’t mind that and it has a long cord making it so easy to set up anywhere

Not an ironer so have only used it once so far. It is heavier than my old iron but the fact that I don’t have to watch the temperature is a bonus.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter years of using a steam generator, I had high expectations and wasn’t sure this iron would be sufficient.
It gets the job done without having to worry about setting the temperature. My wife would often forget to dial the temperature down and end up with a burnt patch but none of that with this iron so I think it’s here to stay.

It’s heavy enough to feel substantial and not have to apply much pressure. Temperature sometimes isn’t as hot as I’d like but then this prevents damage to the clothes otherwise I have no complaints.

I originally planned to have it as a stop gap until I could find a suitable replacement steam generator but I’m not in a hurry as a result of how well this works.

At first I felt it was too heavy but as I got used to it it felt fine , overall I have no complaints with it , I only gave it 4 star because only time will tell

Good iron, definately lighter than my previous Breville and Brauns. Temperature works well and makes things much quicker. Easy to see when the water is running low and is quick to heat up. Another bonus is the cable is long enough as well. Only used it a couple of 2 hour sessions but certainly on the face of it a great product.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBase on some other reviews, we were a little apprehensive about how this concept would perform in practice. We went ahead with the purchase based on the good price and my wife liked the look of it. Sher has found it absolutely fine and has had no problems with the steaming performance. She also finds it easy to handle. Despite negative comments about shot of steam by others, ours seems really powerful compared with our old iron.
I wondered how it could produce plenty of steam while only running at synthetics temperature. Apparently there is an air gap between the steam generator and the soleplate so that the soleplate is cooler than the steam heater. It seems to work very well for us.

Very happy with this iron, but only used twice so far. Was sceptical about it being one temperature but it works well. It is slightly larger than my previous iron but no heavier. I find that you don’t need a higher temperature for heavier clothing or creased clothes just more powerful steam. Very reasonably priced.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis iron glides smoothly over all surfaces and I am very happy with it and so is my husband who has taken over most of the ironing these days. He is wonderful! This iron is perfect for him because you don’t need to adjust the temperature according to the fabric. The iron senses it and adapts itself. Altogether PERFECT.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this iron about 1 month ago. At first, I was happy with the product. It ironed well, with no messing around with temperature dials, wondering if I had got it right. The first couple of times I used it I found it hard going as this iron is heavier than my previous iron. But I soon got used to it. It’s a good iron overall with an easy to fill water system. However, my main bugbear with this iron is that the red non-stick coating on the bottom of the Iron is already starting to come off! I iron about twice a week, we are a family of four. I don’t count that as excessive use. My old iron coped with it for 10 years before that gave up. So I’m not very happy at all and will be contacting the makers about this issue. Next time I’ll not buy a cheap iron, I’ll stick to the more expensive ones that last.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThis has to be one of the easiest irons I have ever used, so much so that this is a second purchase for my daughter as she has an accident burning her favourite top in the summer. It literally is plug in, fill with water, { set steam if you want } and use, no temperature control, no tapping the edge of an inconspicuous area to ensure all is ok lol, but even so you gingerly use it for the first time and sigh with relief when it’s the optimum temperature for any fabric as stated.

I tested the iron on denim, cotton, linen, mix of wool with an organza hem and was so surprised. They have this perfect, it handled all fabrics with ease, the old tea towels which are never ironed looked like new. I can’t express enough how good this iron is, I have had a Bosch iron for years but the steam button started to jam so I was looking for a quick fix, this not only fits the bill but I won’t be looking to replace it anytime soon.

The water tank is huge and I easily ironed all the items I tested and hardly used any of the water.

The iron could be said to be on the heavy side, however having owned a Bosch for so long it is lighter and well balanced. The cable is sufficient and corded not the plastic type so should last the test of time.

All in all a great purchase at the price and would now happily pay more if it wasn’t on offer.
