Lovely small TV ideal for bedroom
Arrived promptly and at a great price compared to other retailers. Set up was very easy and was able to link it to my Sky Q box without much trouble. So far so good.
Excellent kitchen tv.
Replaced an old tv in the kitchen. We have some cooking programs on DVD so the built in player is very convenient.
Only real criticism is the viewing angle is not as good as our old tv.

Better than I expected tbh.
Lovely vibrant picture, good sound, even has a scart socket for my retro consoles.
Initially bought for my young sons bedroom for his switch, also has a dvd player.

Nice little tv
I must admit I was a little apprehensive about this tv as after I ordered it I read some reviews that weren’t very good. So I unpacked and was pleasantly surprised at the look and weight of it as it seemed good quality. Apparently the stand was flimsy, it wasn’t and was perfectly adequate. Then I tried the remote apparently it was really slow in responding, it wasn’t it worked absolutely fine, people also said sound wasn’t great, again I couldn’t see what their problem was! I haven’t used all the functions yet but I’m really happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it. Good picture, good sound and excellent value for money.
Great Little TV
I bought this as a Christmas present for one of my grandson’s for his Xbox, he loves it, just the right size for his desk. Good quality picture and sound, plus has a CD facility so he can watch any videos he has.
A great choice if you still use DVD's
A clear large screen with all the bells and whistles attached. It is now my only decent CD/DVD player left and as such is used a lot. No issues so far (several months of use).
Nice little TV but sound not grea
I bought this for the kitchen as the size was good. I wasn’t worried about the DVD function as it’s not something we use but the cost was the same as other TV’s without it. The picture quality is very good. The colours are nice and vibrant and the picture is clear, though blacks can lack a little and changing the contrast doesn’t do much.
My main issue is the sound. While it’s not bad, it doesn’t have much volume and when you do turn it up the quality is quote poor. Even in a small kitchen, it an be hard to hear over the noise of other things going on.
Build quality does feel quite good though and despite the poor sound, I think it’s a good purchase.
good value at sale price
as already said on here the remote has a slight delay but picture quality and sound are good, and very easy to set up, main annoyance is the stand is slightly off and had to put a coaster under it to make it level. Otherwise good value for money and perfect for a kitchen or small room.
Good sound and picture
The only problem I found was that ejecting a DVD is not a one button operation and can take 3 or 4 goes to do. Other than that its a great little TV.

arrived on time, well packed. easy to set up and use, great value, everything about this tv is great except as usual the sound but even that is very good for a flat screen tv. No problems, in the long term we will have to wait and see.
Great little TV
We have had a 24″ Sharp TV in our kitchen for years. It suddenly stopped working and I was so surprised to be able to buy this replacement so cheaply and easily on Amazon. I knew it was a good brand and it works perfectly plugged into our Sky mini box. I set it up in a few minutes and we are very pleased with it.
Ideal size.
Bought this to use in my kitchen and it has so far worked well. It is a nice size with a good picture and sound quality. It was a good price too.
Good value
Screwing in the base was tricky and I couldnt get it tight but its stands fine. Fairly easy to use. We just use it for the DVD function for the kids room. A little annoying when it sometimes eject the DVD disc if left in there when TV is turned on and the DVD can sometimes make quite a disturbing noise when TV turned on. Probably best not to leave a DVD in the TV but my kids are little and often fall asleep with it playing and the TV turns off automatically.
Sharp in all departments as to be expected
Not much to critcise as everything works as it should. Only thing for Sharp to concider is putting a mains switch on the tv as a feature to be safe if left on stand by for a longer than normal time. We dont like leaving electrical items on permanent stand by as no electrical appliance can be 100% safe or trusted.

Loled the look of it in yhe kitchen. The previous one we put in our bedroom, to replace the broken down old bedroom one. The one in the Bedroom may yet come back to the Kitchen and the new Sharp can go to the bedroom.
The other one you can get Playback for BBC I Player, but not in the new Sharpe. It was the same price as another TV when bought, and that had I Player. My husband chose the Sharp as it has a good reputation he said.!
It takes 17 seconds to come on. I change a channel sometimes, and it switches itself off for no good reason. I am not happy with it. Probably going to put it in the bedroom because it will not get much use up there. I really miss the one upstairs now, and will bring it downstairs. We bought a brand new aerial as the reception was not great on it, and the picture quality was not that great. Did not change it much. Slightly better only.!
Sharp - Bush ?
Bought a Sharp ty but it’s identical to the Bush even the remote only hope it last longer than 16mth the Bush did. Everything seem’s ok good price, quick delivery Thanks again Amazo
Worth buying I say
I’m happy with it. It arrived on time. Picture quality is good and sound is ok. I just wanted a new tv as my old one stopped working. This was a decent replacement. I’d recommend this tv if you want something basic and cheap to watch tv on at home or in an office waiting room to occupy customers. It’s perfect for that and it’s aesthetically pleasing.

I love this T.V, just right for a bedroom, good quality picture baring in mind I’m using an indoor Ariel to. Sound very good I didn’t think it was tinny. I think it’s a good price to with having a DVD player which works well to.
Smart tv that works perfectly!
The television is a perfect fit for its position and even fixed on to the existing wall bracket. It is for occasional use in a bedroom and has proved invaluable during the lockdown periods when one or other of us wants to watch a different programme (a rare event but very useful.)

This was a present to me from my husband, to put in my bedroom so now that he is retired I can watch the programmes I like in peace. Perfect price, perfect quality picture and sound and just the right dimensions for a bedroom !!
Good all rounder.
Simple to set up and use, good picture and sound quality. For me the facility to play discs and record are a bonus and the combination of these things make the purchase startling value.
Great set for the price
Very happy with this TV. Sound quality and picture resolution are excellent for a set at this price and it’s easy to set up and use.
Don’t be tempted to have it in store mode to get a brighter picture, it’s not appropriate for home use. Scrolling product information appears on the screen every couple of minutes if you do. Picture quality is just as good in home mode.
Can’t comment on the lag when changing channels that some people mention as we have a digibox.
The only difficulty was assembling the base unit, the screws take a lot of effort to fit.

Excellent 24" colour TV with DVD
Absolutely perfect for a smaller wall mounted TV above my computer. Must confess that I haven’t had any of the lag problems or other things that some people have complained about. Colours fine, DVD is fine, sound is fine , controls are fine. Great value for money.
Great Small TV and excellent value
Very Happy with this 24 inch TV. Has a great picture, even at an angle and the sound (for a small TV) is excellent. Bought to replace a smaller TV in the kitchen and does the job perfectly – can turn it up loud enough to hear what is being said, while there are the background kitchen type noises – which couldn’t be said of the TV it is replacing. The DVD/CD player is quiet in operation, so no issues there
As others have said, the TV on its stand isn’t as solid as some, but as long as you screw the base in tightly it should be ok. If you knock it accidentally then some very slight rocking is apparent from side to side – but that is due to the size of the stand attachment vs the size of the TV. Quick delivery, easy to put together only need a small phillips screw driver for the stand, The tuning and set up very easy only a couple of windows which were all ready done, tuned in fine and good reception, good picture, The sound volume is good and far better than our 24″ Panasonic for which we need an amplifier, especially when there are the normal kitchen background noise. The only ISSUE thus far are the buttons on the ‘clicker’ they are tiny and therefore difficult to see, and I will have to see if there is a better clicker available. There seems to be some goodies with this tv like USB port etc and the ICING ON THE CAKE for me is the DVD player, Over all seems EXCELLENT value.
The TV arrived right on time and well packaged with no damage to it. I bought this for my daughter after her old tv gave up, it’s slightly bigger then her last one and that she liked.
She is very happy with it.

What a great TV for only 119.99. Very easy to assemble. I was able to easily insert my Amazon Firestick into the HDMI socket. Very straightforward channel tuning. And what I like most is the built-in DVD player. I can now have hours of fun watching DVDs from my youth. Would totally recommend this TV if you’re not looking for a Smart TV but are looking for a bog standard set that is easy to operate.

Only 2 negatives : flimsy stand , location of HDMI ports awkward, only just get in an ordinary cable, have had to order extra angled adaptor for Amazon stick.

What a cracking cheap TV! It’s a dvd player as well yay. Got this for my bedroom, currently watching TV via my Fire stick, in bed. Amazing, so worth the money. Loads of volume so I’m happy when I play music on it. Love it.

very good value TV
The TV arrived super quick, well packaged. Very good value and ideal for in the kitchen or bedroom. Has the added facility of using a DVD without finding room for another box, having the slot inside the TV is great.
The Sharp LC-24DHF4011K 24 inch HD ready TV exceeded my expectations. It is an ideal desk screen as well for viewing from a distance. The picture is very clear and fully adjustable and the sound on both DVD and TV Channels is excellent. The remote is large and easy to navigate, with separate selection buttons for TV, Radio, USB and DVD. There is also a record and pause live TV option.
An excellent feature is the large selection of Countries for tuning and Regional areas with Freeview Channels. It works for me with an Indoor Digital Aerial which is a bonus point so there are not too many connections to the outdoor Ariel.
This TV offers very good value for money.
We bought this for a spare bedroom and it is fine, we always planned to wall mount it, which is just as well as the middle bar from the stand was missing (which made us wonder if we had a pre used item?) and the dvd is a little noisy but even low volume settings mask it perfectly, so no real problem. The picture quality is excellent and we have had Sharp tv’s before so we are happy with what we got at the price and overall it is a good tv.
I bought this for my bedroom which I use with headphones. The quality of the sound is great , can hear the noises in the background like a surround system. It took a lot of time and effort to find a TV you can use a headphone with . The picture quality is also really good. would recommend
Excellent with the build in HD free view …. works brilliantly for my mother in law in her nursing home room where space is limited for both HDTV, DVD’s and USB stick photos. Set up v easy. Great kitchen or bedroom TV … not yet tested if OK for computer screen or Xbox use by kids or students but suspect it will be.
Excellent TV. Does what it says. You can use it as a computer monitor as well, using the HDMI inputs, also has a USB socket..Got to be one of the best deals out there.
Love it no wobbly stand brilliant quality. At first the stand was wobbly but that was before I realised I have used the wrong screws. Pretty obvious when I saw they were three screws and four screws in different sizes and there wasn’t any spare parts. Also the instructions clearly shows that.
No issues , great picture and sound , easy set up. No wobbly stand as some reviews state. Great Amazon next day delivery , by amazingly friendly and helpful drivers. Set up from start to finish was so simple , enter country and area when prompted , press auto start… sorted. Ten minutes from opening the packaging we were watching TV
I bought this for my elderly father to replace a broken set, so I set it up for him. The hardest part was screwing on the bottom of the stand!! The leaflet explains that you’re basically creating the thread in the plastic yourself so if it gets too tight and won’t go in any further, unscrew it a little then keep on screwing! It needed loads of pressure so j was a bit worried about damaging the screen but I got there in the end! The stand is wobbly if you don’t fully tighten this part so has to be done. An electric screwdriver would probably help.
Anyway, on to set up! It was quite easy to get all the digital channels set up and all went well until we connected the Sky box. The picture turned pink every time we changed to Scart input, but it turned out it just wasn’t pushed in well enough. D’oh! The cable access is quite fiddly and tight though. Then we had no sound on Sky, so deduced we needed a mini Jack to RCA cable from the Sky box to the TV. The old TV managed on Scart alone but this one doesn’t. Luckily I had one so the crisis was averted!
The picture is really crisp and the sound was okay (small TV so didn’t expect much).
We linked the Sky remote to the TV easily and dad was pleased to have only one controller.
Though we did need to use the TV remote to eject DVDs, which dad found very fiddly with the very small pause/stop button! I think he’ll need a different remote. There’s also quite a lag between pressing buttons on the remote and anything actually happening on the TV. DVDs glided in and out smoothly.
So in conclusion, he’s really happy watching it. I think he’ll struggle with the small DVD controls on the remote so we’ll have to replace that if we can. He was delighted with the price we paid. A good TV once you’ve set it up!
Purchased for kids room, super sharp (get it!) display with a good UI and decent remote. The best you can get at the price point.Was torn between this and a supermarket brand for 30 cheaper, money well spent.
Tv DVD Combi
Nice item. Arrived in a box protected in an outer box. Easy to assemble and tune. I personally had difficulty using the screws to fix the stand as the ones supplied were too large, but that was easily remedied.
Picture is clear sound is good and remote is easy to operate. Great tv for the bedroom
Good TV. HD channels look sharp and the DVD works great. The remote has a few issues with responsiveness, it seems to take a few attempts for the TV to register. The USB didn’t pick up my 3tb HDD USB3 drive but it’s fine with smaller and flash drives.
I was very wary about buying another tv/dvd as the last two Toshibas have been very “tinny sounding” and neither lasted much passed their guarantees.
As they are only being used in a bedroom I wouldn’t say they were over used so I was beginning to wonder if any value tv would be a good buy.
Then I saw this and read all the good feedback.I have had this tv 5 days now and the two things that I have noticed are how sharp the picture is and how the sound is SO much better than previous buy’s. My initial impression is positive and I would recommend this TV.
