Fun little craft activity set, everything is supplied to make up to 10 small pictures with metallic/holigraphic details, i liken this to gilding or hot foiling (heatless!) but in in simple form for children.
The foils are simply pressed to the pre-printed image parts which have light adhesive to it when peeled off. The image parts can then be mounted onto the pre-printed picture boads. Light crafting fun but very limited as once they are completed, that is it, but there are all the parts supplied including 100 sheets of foils although these should be used with assistance and care to avoid waste.
The quality is pretty good, priced at 16.99 (at the time of review) seems reasonable as there are a lot of materials included and each image works out at 1.70 and you get to keep it too. Great school holiday or rainy day activity.

I bought this as a present for my five and a half year old granddaughter. She absolutely loved it and spent most of the weekend I was there doing it. She wasn’t expert at first, not always applying enough pressure for the foil but she soon learnt and managed to mix colours sometimes.
Bought for car travel , my 6+ daughter loved making foil stickers , kept her busy for hours and then days later too when she took it out again.
Comes with so many foil , shiny, glittery etc.
I would definitely buy again , for my child and gifts .

Lovely crafting activity from skillmatics. Not too messy, which comes in handy when you don’t want glitter and mess everywhere! And it’s a bit different, so good to keep kids entertained during the school hols. Works well enough, and you have a nice picture at the end.
There is lots to create with this kit and I am pleased with it.
The set came in an attractive cardboard box and it looks like it will make a good gift. However, it was wrapped in plastic, generating unwanted plastic waste.
There’s a lot here in this set and the slim-lined box is ideal for storage. There are 10 scenes that you use to apply stickers to, which are then coloured with foil. It is not too tricky to master and the only mess generated is from the paper that comes off from the peeled sticker. Instructions are clear to follow as a step-by-step guide and you can really create some nice effects. It reminds me of fuzzy felt, just this is more permanent.
There are loads of foil sheets included and the googly eyes are self-adhesive too. Children can be really creative with their scenes and I would agree with the age rating of 4-9.
It’s a great set and could be used at parties, play groups, or with children during the school holidays. Good quality, I am really pleased with it.
Very happy with this super fun Arts & Craft Activity set! This one in particular is a Foil Fun Unicorns & Princesses themed set! It’s lots of fun and completely mess free. Highly recommend it. Great value for money too and great for creative kids.
I got this primarily aiming for my 6 year old daughter as something she can do without significant supervision. This set is slightly different to others that have the foil and sticker premise.
The set comes with 10 scenery pictures. These are roughly A4 in size and made of a nice card. The colours are pastel rather than cartoony.
Then there are the 10 foam like sticker sheets. These are the items that you put the foil on. The borders of the stickers aren’t particularly well aligned with the cut of the stickers, but in reality it doesn’t matter because anything important is going to be covered with the foil. The foam sheets are a good thickness. First you peel off the top later which has the borders on it, one section at a time. Then you lay a piece of foil down, with the patterned side up. Press on the foil all over and then peel it off. If you are supervising a child then don’t panic if there are holes, the foil will re-apply to any sticky surface.
Once a sticker has been completed in the foil, it can be lifted from the sticker backing and placed on the scenery board.
This is a really nice non messy craft activity, no paints, glue or crayons needed.

The foam shapes easily push out after the foil has been put on, take the backing off and stick on your chosen scene.

This pack has a good selection of backgrounds to place your foil images. The easy to push out shapes are all on a princess and unicorn theme and you emboss with the foil then peel off the back to stick onto your background to create a picture.
There’s no need for scissors or glue which enables this a good project to take on car/plane/train journeys. Equally good for poorly children.
I would say it’s aimed at 5-7 year olds but that’s mainly because of the images (as opposed to the actual foil rubbing) which seem quite young.
A nice activity but at 20 it’s overpriced in my opinion.
I agree with some of the other reviewers who say that although this is a slightly different and interesting activity, it is a little overpriced (currently retailing at 19.99 at the time of this Amazon Vine review).
It is A4 in size and includes 10 backgrounds (which they call picture canvasses), over 100 foam stickers, 100 foil sheets and googly eyes. The idea is to peel on of the foam sticker, press on the foil sheet and then to place the finished product on the background/canvas. This is aimed at 4-9 years and this seems like an accurate assessment, although it will depend on the child as some 9-year-olds would find this too basic a craft whereas others would enjoy it.
I think this is a really nicely presented craft kit and would be happy to recommend if it were not so pricey. I would ideally like this to be at least half the price, under 10, in order to fully recommend.

Great art kit to relieve summer holiday boredom for the younger members of the family. As there are 10 pictures in the kit it will make for a fun play date with a friend which will keep them away from the tv for a few hours.
Very clever idea to have press down foil which makes a change from using normal stickers. I put a few of the pictures away so they can be done on another day and make the set last longer. Probably best to get them to use the set on a wipe clean mat although its not that messy compared with most other styles of art and crafts for kids.
My niece’s (aged 6 and 8) both adore being creative with this foil kit.
It includes a variety of creative bits and bobs, like googly eyes and stickers, to help decorate and enhance your child’s foil creations.
The unicorn and princess theme is definitely a bit hit with both my nieces.
Happy to recommend for children from around Reception (first year of school) age.
When I recieved this, it was A4 size, which was bigger than I expected.
Inside you get shapes, foils, googly eyes and some backgrounds.
The age on the box states from 4-9, but I would say its aimed more towards younger ones as you are slightly limited to what you can do.
The idea is to take out the foam shape you want and then stick the foil to it. When you lift it away, the foil sticks to the shape. You can then arrange it onto one of the background pieces.
This is good as its non messy, no paints or pens involved and at the end you have some nice pictures to display.
I plan to take this with me when I’m going on holiday over summer, to keep the girls entertained when travelling.
Slightly different from your average colour in painting activities but I did feel it was expensive for what it was.
Having said that, it’s still a nice craft activity and is presented nicely.
