Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersSimple Clean Design - Makes it Easier to Take Notes
The design of this notebook makes it easy to take notes when you don’t have a desk or table.

Some of these things are obvious from the description, but I will list the features I find useful.

    1) ***Hardbound***: If you are trying to take notes or sketch on your lap or on the go, a hardbound notebook makes it much easier. This one is more than sufficiently sturdy to write on. No bending of pages makes it worthwhile to get a hardbound notebook for me.

    2) ***Sturdy Wirebound Spine***: Easier to write with one page facing you, or with a two-page spread.
Some notebooks may be wirebound, but the spine is flimsy. The spine on this notebook is very strong and does not bend easily, so that’s a plus.

    3) ***No Margin***: Most notebook paper comes with a printed margin, and to me that wastes writing space AND is a distraction.

4)***No binder holes***: I will not be putting these into a binder, so the lack of binder holes is a plus. More writing space and less distractions on the paper.

5)***No Logos or Marks on the Paper itself***: Many notebooks like to add a logo or other markings on each page as a reminder of their product. This notebook is plain lined paper with no other logos or markings to distract or waste space. YES to this!!!

6)***Relatively Plain Cover***: The cover only has the words “A4 Notebook”, in a small font size, at the bottom of the right corner. Most notebooks have a bunch of design elements and their logo and other words all over the cover, which is a distraction.

Because this notebook has a pretty plain cover, you can easily stick your own label on the cover and actually SEE it, due to the spartan design.

7)***Paper Thickness is Sufficient***: It is not the thickest paper at 70gsm, but it is sufficient for my needs, which is notetaking. Fit for purpose, in other words.

    8)***Perforated for Easy Page Removal***.

If I were to suggest an improvement, it would be to REMOVE the words “A4 Notebook” from the cover. So that even fewer unnecessary words/design elements coming from the manufacturer’s need to advertise what the product is…are removed. I don’t need to see those words, as I know already it is an A4 notebook.

That’s a small quibble, and it does not interfere with the function. And it’s still a lot better than the majority of the notebooks sold, which have all sorts of unnecessary design elements on the cover and sometimes inside as well.

I prefer having the cleanest interface possible, in a notebook that can open up completely flat.

This is the best one I have found so far.

I like the dark blue, monochromatic wavy design. It remains “business-like”, but with just a little pizazz that elevates it from being a boring business notebook.

    5 Stars!

    Great value bundle
In my line of work, I go through a lot of notebooks which I have to keep for a certain time once final reports are done. These are great books – sturdy and store easily once I am done.

    Yep. We like these.
I like good quality paper and this was a surprisingly good options for a great price. Wasn’t expecting too much but the pen glides well like it does on a high quality paper. Not the biggest fan of the exterior, but it goes in a folio so not such an issue. The perforation isn’t amazing and can tear the page which is the main reason for less stars

Very good value and will do the job
These are wirebound pads, which means that the pages will not just fall out over time, and they are decent quality paper (not the best, but good enough).
They are also exceptionally good value and unless you need a thicker wieght of paper for some specific purpose other than writing – diagrams for example or map extracts or similar – then these will absolutely do the job.

Worth the small amount of money!
I had forgotten it was a pack of 5 because of the low price so it was a nice surprise to find i had actually got 5 fully functioning notebooks for under 7!!! for under 1.40 per notebook they are very good quality and do their job as well as any other more expensive branded ones. the paper feels nice, there’s no annoying margin that takes up half the page and the line spacing is very nice and slim, so these are great for note-taking (which i bought them for). definitely worth the small price they cost!!

    Great books!
Great books! I am using 1 for each of my A level subjects and therefore have a couple left over. Great quality and easy to write in. I even stuck small labels in the hard covers to identify each folder. They could be a bit thicker but still great value for money as it’s a pack of 5.

    Hard covered A4 writing pad
Excellent writing work pad. Sturdey front and back cover which folds all the way round on wire making good support .. Front and back covers are covered white on the inside making it look more profssional than it just being brown board. Sturdy enough to lean on. Paper isnt a great thickness but certainly ok for note taking. Paper is perforated down the side so easy to remove rather than having to teat off of bound wire. Would defintiely buy product again. Each pad equates to 2.13 each which is good value for what you get.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGood sturdy notebook
The front and back are nice and sturdy, the pages are a nice thickness and smooth to write on. The notebooks are satisfying to use and 4/5 notebooks arrived with perfectly straight wire spirals. The notebooks are not margined and is not hole punched which suit me fine as I am using them for note taking but maybe not suitable for people who want to file notes in lever arch folders.

My only problem is that compared to the current 80 sheets/ 160 pages notebook I’m using (also 70gsm) there seems to be less pages. I haven’t counted how much each notebook has but there’s a visible difference in thickness and when measured (excluding covers) there’s a difference of 0.1cm which is about 11 pages on my other notebook. Since there are 5 notebooks it doesn’t bother me much and overall I’d recommend these notebooks for note taking.
