Großzügiges Set für viele Projekte
Das Starterset fr Raspberry Pi Pico kam in einem stabilen Karton zum aufklappen. Dieser war mit einem leichten Klebepunkt fixiert. Darin befand sich eine stabile Kunststoffbox mit einfachen Verschlssen. Diese Box ist so stabil, dass sie samt Inlay problemlos lngere Zeit verwendet werden kann. Im Deckel ist ein Einlegeblatt, auf dessen Rckseite eine bebilderte Packliste abgebildet ist. Das ist auch ganz gut, da die Tten keine Beschreibung haben und somit dennoch schnell und einfach eine Zuordnung finden. An sich ist alles dabei, sogar der Raspberry Pi an sich. Alle Sachen sind noch mals in kleinen Tten verpackt, was aufgrund der ganzen Module und der antistatischen Verpackung durchaus Sinn macht. Fr jegliche Projekte ist etwas dabei- ein Tastenfeld, kleines LCD display, oder sogar eine Batterie samt Batteriefach. Ebenso befindet sich eine steckplatzkarte des Raspberry, die bei meinen bisherigen Projekten eine schne und hilfreiche bersicht darstellt. Gerne htte ich noch ein paar Beispielprojekte fr blutige Anfnger gesehen. Auch sind die Drahtbrcken meiner Meinung nach etwas zu grozgig abisoliert , da dies schon vor dem Knick geschehen ist. Beschweren kann man sich jedoch nicht da man fr den Preis ordentlich was geboten kriegt.
It’s a really nice kit that also comes with wires which you have to mould and bend yourself (not the ones you simply plug in) which makes the experience a lot better and rewarding which no other kit has. I had an issue with one of the components however after some brief interaction with the seller I have received a replacement for that part which is great. If you are using micropython to code the pico you won’t have an issue with the documentation however if you are using C you will struggle as you have to scour the internet for resources which the documentation does not provide. Also wish the price was cheaper as the value for money isn’t great – also wish they provided an option with the pico W!
As the headline says, although this kit contains a lot of different components, the online tutorials make it easy to understand what each component does and how to use it both in terms of hardware in the circuit & also how to program using it (with examples).
It’s all well packaged in a neat box with a sub-box of flush cables, neatly grouped by size and each component is sorted into their own groupings, meaning that no further organization is really necessary.
I honestly couldn’t recommend this kit enough.
My husband got this starter kit for him to do with our children. They found it very straightforward, easy for them to learn and assemble. Clear instructions. Sturdy and durable material. Very good product quality. My children had so much fun they want to keep learn more about it.

This is an extensive little kit that will require some time to build and also a little reading and research over at their website linked in the description above, it’s a fun little project to get into if you want to take electronics and programming a little further, all in all, 5 stars from me.
This is absolutely amazing set, I bought fit or my son, who wants to go into electrical engineering. Its a really great kit with everything you need to get started.
So if you have a modicum of interest in computer coding, you will already have heard about the “legendary” Raspberry Pi micro computer which first appeared on the scene in 2012. This is a new iteration, the Pico, and this SunFounder kit comes with a myriad of additional components to “build” an array of different electronic projects.
For the first-time coding dabbler, I would say this kit isn’t for you – just the Pico itself can be had for less than a tenner – I would suggest that you start with just the Pico because coding in Python is kind of like Marmite. If however, you already have some coding skills, then this kit will serve you well and help develop your finesse in programming but it still isn’t easy – you do have to put the time in. The SunFounder kit itself is impressive, with everything you will need (obviously not a keyboard, mouse, nor screen) to help you take the plunge into the world of algorithms and conditional statements, to build some very interesting projects. If you are a complete newbie, I would recommend the MicroBit as more of an entry-level device than the Pico – it’s coding language (block-based) is much easier to grasp/
