This cleanser is the best it’s perfect for mechanics hands and great for cleaning items which need a little bit more elbow grease and it also helps removing stubborn stains on clothes too! It works like magic. We buy this larger size to keep the little dispenser in the kitchen topped up.
Great product, but come on Amazon, make sure you tighten the cap before shipping. Mine was packed inside a plastic bag, which was fortunate as about 70ml had leaked all over the container and the pump. This is very poor (unacceptable) customer service on Amazon’s part .
As for the product. As always, Swarfega is a brilliant hand cleaner for oils, paints, tars etc.
If you like getting your hands dirty this is the best stuff for getting oil or soil off your hands, thanks to the cornmeal bits that get into every crack and fingernail, and good cleaning ingredients. Washes off easily and doesn’t dry-out the skin.

I have had 2 of these sent now, the first one was completely open and pouring out into the box, we refused delivery due to how bad it was. The second was also leaking but luckily not as bad. Hopefully the seller will check lids from now on to try and prevent this on the future. Apart from leaking its a great product and is well worth the price providing you receive all of it in the bottle not the box
The summary is, I love Swarfega! There’s just nothing like it for cleaning hands, especially hands that are covered in oil, grease and grime. And, it actually smells good. In fact, it smells really nice! I think that this particular product (the 4L pump) is especially good value. I pump a small amount into a smaller container and then use that on a day-to-day basis – sticking the big 4L bottle into the garage until I need to do a refill. Obviously, how long it will last is dependent on how often you use it. I probably use a ‘squirt’ 5-10 times every weekend and my current rate of consumption I reckon that this big bottle will last me at least 2-3 years.
