Teungca Adult Bib Scarf, Washable Microsuede Material

Really easy to use, wipeable/washable too! I got the purple rose one, but I’ve looked at the other designs and really wish that manufacturers would realise that not all disabled are elderly, and that today’s elderly are yesterday’s punk rockers so we don’t necessarily want fuddy-duddy designs!

Adult bibs are necessary for many who have difficulty eating; however, as helpful as a bib is for reasons of cleanliness, they are being bibs, something many associate with infants, and then serve to draw attention to an adult with a disability.

This design of bib is cleverly double-sided; one side is dressed to appear scarf or shawl-like, and the other has the same pattern but repeated in a resistant wipe-clean fabric; by using the fasteners, the two sides of the “scarf” can be fixed together, as a bib.
At other times, the item can be worn like a decorative scarf.
It is easy to clean and is washable.

In terms of use – it’s not as comprehensive a solution as a full bib, and the two parts coming together are a compromise.
However, as a means to wear a bib while not looking quite like you are wearing a bib, this item has value for those who feel self-conscious, such as when eating out or with company.

I’m happy with this Teungca adult bib, and not only does it look great in purple rose, but it also keeps your clothes relatively stain-free whilst you eat. However, the top button fastening is far too slim, and I think the design should be longer and broader because not everyone using this bib has the figure of a stick insect. The purple rose option is acceptable for review, but I think I would get fewer comments in a restaurant if it were the tartan design. However, it does look nice when draped over a chair, ready for the next meal. It wipes clean reasonably quickly with antibacterial wipes instead of washing. Compared to the plastic-style bibs with tie handles at the neck, the Teungca version is accessible to get on and off. It is relatively well-made, and I didn’t notice any flaws with the bib. Improvements would be a slightly larger design and perhaps unisex plain colours or non-flowered patterns.

I must admit that I did think there were a pair when I purchased, looking at the advert, but the image is both sides of the bid.

It’s well made and looks good. Great to stop food/pait/other stuff dropping on to you. Easily washable too.
