Great value for a great little PC.

The listing could have been clearer as to what was included in the pack (2xsmall HDMI cables and a power cable) but other than that, great service, quickly delivered and exactly as advertised. Nice quick mini PC.

This tiny PC is a brilliant piece of kit, sips power and can be far more powerful than an older computer chewing 7x more power than this.

We previously had an old dell computer running Home Assistant with Frigate, the old computer was more than capable though it would consistently use 70watts at 10-20% CPU usage.

This little PC was around the same price (the dell was an Amazon renewed) and sips under 7watts at a similar load.

Additionally, the newer variants of intel CPUs give extra features for better processing of motion frames on frigate.

Did I mention the thing is tiny? It fits in the palm of your hand.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA remarkably fast mini PC.
Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed making set up easy. You will need a mouse, keyboard and either a monitor or TV for the initial setup. Enable remote access and you won’t need them again as everything can be done with Windows Remote Desktop tool which has apps for Android and iOS as well as PC and Mac.
Just remember to set up your WiFi connections to connect automatically or you may find yourself stuck!
I use this TRIGKEY as part of my astronomy setup where I mount it directly to my telescope. It’s really lightweight so it isn’t a problem even on my super-light grab-n-go setup. I use “N.I.N.A” to control my astrophotography sessions and it runs buttery smooth, with plenty of headroom on the TRIGKEY. There should be plenty of power in reserve for future developments too.
The n100 processor is exceptionally energy efficient, great for remote locations where you may want to use a power-tank. It runs really cool too so you’ll never have issues with heat dissipation, especially as this also has fan cooling. The fan is near silent and totally free from vibration so it will not affect your exposures.
USB ports are all of type A, useful for astronomy equipment. There’s four of them which is reasonably generous. They’re fast too, so getting your gigabytes of data off is really quick and painless. On that note, there’s 500GB of MVMe SSD onboard, plenty of space for a long shooting session over a couple of nights. Adding an extra SSD drive internally is a simple enough job as there’s a caddy built in (accessed by removing four screws) though I haven’t found any need to test this.
I’ve been using this for a little while now, both at home and at remote dark sky locations and I’m really impressed with the little unit. I can’t believe how reasonably priced it was, particularly taking into account it has 16GB of RAM and a 500GB fast NVMe SSD where many have slower SSD disks.
I have no reservations in recommending the TRIGKEY, it’s a first-class mini PC.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly Good

I have to say having paid just under a hundred quid for this I can’t fault it. You’re not going to be gaming on it (modern titles anyway) or doing intesive stuff like video editing or 3D rendering, but as a media server, surveillance system or home automation controller it’s ideal. As other reviewers have pointed out the M2 interface is SATA and not NVMe but that’s not going to cause any bottlenecks in applications this suits.
Has a 2.5″ SATA drive bay built in although it’s not immediately obvious in BIOS how you’d set it as a boot device, however it’s fine for additional storage or backing up the boot disk.

unwrapped it, plugged in and it fired up without any problems . connected to wifi ,did windows 11 updates. Tested bluetooth – works no problem . it runs very quiet and seems quick enough for what i use it for (not gaming). had several tabs open in 2 browsers and ftp client all running together with no noticeable lag.

First impressions – very good , especially for this price (sub 100). Hope it continues that way

Being a M2 type of SSD, the NVME version of the M2 should by rights work within this machine – mine is a N5095 – don’t get me wrong, and it’s only been a week since receiving the unit – a 128gb version and with Windows boat replaced with Linux Ubuntu Cinnamon, it seems nippy and stable for a low end chip.
But installing a NVME PCIE 3 drive is a no no, it will only it seems take a M2 SATA which runs at the 550mb which is a shame as I have a few larger spec NVME’s wanting a new home.
Overall very quite and it actually sees all 11 external USB 3 drives I have that amount to 200tb for my plex media.
Wish I had got one with a 512GB drive, enen the 256GB – mostly for system backup.
    So far so good.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersGREEN G3 N5095 8+128
Switched on PC and it configured Win 11 perfectly within a few minutes. As advertised, perfect for office work and streaming video. No annoying ‘free’ software added – nice clean install. I decided to replace the installed 128Gb NVME drive C: with a 1Tb drive and also added a 1Tb 2.5 inch SATA drive. Quick and easy: just 4 screws to remove bottom plate, BUT be very careful removing – thin ribbon cable connects SATA SSD located on bottom plate to motherboard. I also decided to revert to Windows 10. No problem – TrigKey website support allows to download Win 10 installation as a zip file. Extract Win 10 files to a USB drive (about 9 Gb), restart PC from USB drive and Win 10 installed to new NVME drive in minutes. Only problem, Windows required activation and did not automatically find the license key. Again no problem – I emailed TrigKey support on a Sunday and received an email first thing Monday morning with all the information needed to activate Win 10. I haven’t pushed the PC very hard, but generally it runs cool and silent. Very happy with purchase and much impressed by the swift and polite support. 5*

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI purchased this for my charity as the office computer was creaking at the seems. I chose this N5095A one as its faster than the N5100 (??). Its a zippy little thing, uses far less power and some 5times faster than the old office pc, all for a price of 159, whats not to like. I love this form factor and always try to get this size.

You wont be disappointed (unless you are a gamer, maybe minesweeper and light games).

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI liked it’s small size. I liked that it worked. Initially, I had trouble getting an audio plug ( 3.5mm stereo jack ) to insert. Manipulating with slightly thinner object freed it up and the audio now plugs in and works. If your monitor has an audio input then this is an additional benefit. I needed an HDMI to DVI cable to connect to my monitor, no problem. With dongles I could connect to my router, keyboard and mouse. All in one place with a small footprint.

5.0 out of 5 stars It works and can be fitted to the back of your monitor.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersBought the product to use as a foot in my pocket mobile server. Was a little sceptical about ours its capability considering the the size and the price. Happily surprised. Have it running server 2022 with 2 virtual machines and acting as a Windows deployment server delivering 6 different OS’s saves me carrying around a pocket full of USB sticks and considerably faster. Negotiating with a client to procure another 70 of these to massively reduce local support costs and get they are very low footprint and voltage can just fix to the wall about a network point and a plug socket. The only annoying part is the power supply. If you have an extension lead with 2 rows of plugs rather than a single bank the cable exits the plug on the wrong side so you lose both rows. Other than that for a work pc or micro server so long as you get the 16gig ram model you can’t go wrong

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDelivery was very quick. Once all windows updates were complete, you are ready to go. Please Note: I found that I had to change the mouse to left mouse click for select, system was set for right mouse click.

I bought the TRIGKEY Green G3 Desktop PC for a project I am working on. So far, I have had no trouble with it. Good little system.

I bought this to replace a very tired all in one PC and it does everything I need of it.

Used for browsing, office tasks and some streaming rather than any gaming. I really like the bracket that means I can attach it to the back of our monitor. Boots quick, handles multiple applications well and I couldn’t be happier.

Could hardly believe how small this pc is. So far, so good. It does everything and more that my old (6 years old and still wworking!) did. Should it go belly up within the next 3 years, then it is covered by the optional 3 year cover, and all for less the 200. A real bargain.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI bought this to run VMWare ESXi 7 as a home lab for testing, my previous tower server was too old for the newer software.
I was a little concerned it wouldn’t be up to the job, but I needn’t have worried, it is fast, spectacularly so for its cost and size. It doesn’t have a noisy fan and sips power.
It came with a Windows 11 OS installed which booted quickly and did all the windowsy things you would expect, but this was overwritten with the VSXi software.
The VSXi software does not recognise the Realtec NIC, so I had to buy a CableCreations USB NIC and modify the ISO image to include the FLING USB drivers, but once done it all worked well and booted from the USB image (changed in BIOS).
An excellent machine, tiny, unobtrusive, fast and cheap. A working VMWare 7 lab for < 300.

5.0 out of 5 stars Used for VMWare ESXi7 home lab

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI was skeptical about how this would perform in regard to replacing a full size PC tower which was fried during a power cut.

I’m not a ‘heavy’ PC user, mainly used for browsing, music format converting and some ‘light’ gaming.

Once setup and W11 updates done, I opened multiple browser windows across my two connected monitors, ran a malware scan, downloaded apps and app updates and listened/watched some music from YouTube.

I was instantly impressed with how well it copes with this multitasking. I did play an old game (old being from approx 2000) and apart from some screen lag, it ran the game acceptably.

If you want to play the latest games online, then a dedicated gaming PC is the route to take.

For all other PC related uses, this is an ideal space saving alternative and great VFM.
