Good mini fly zapper.
Does what its suoposed to zaps midges and flies you can either leave it on all the time or use the light sensor to switch it on when the evening/night comes on.
Fantastic item
Recommend by my friendsas every time I had window open there would be an influx of small black flies,the light does the job brilliantly. Highly recommended as the flies can lay dormant in compost.
Satisfied - works for me
I’ve seen some really mixed reviews on this, so thought I would leave my twopence’s worth here. As stated the box was slightly water-damaged which made me nervous opening it, but the zapper itself was intact. Powered up without blowing anything up and both bulbs worked. Works a treat on small insects, but seems to only stun big flies (which I don’t mind, coz I can dispose of the blighters myself if they are stunned}. For only stunning big flies is the reason this doesn’t get the 5 stars.
I have no idea where they came from but we experienced a plague of house flies. We used many spray cans which only gave temporary relief. In desperation, I decided to buy one of those insect electrocutors often seen in shops. After 5 full trays of dead flies, the problem was solved. Highly recommended.
Very good and as good as much more expensive equivalents I’ve bought in the past. It killed several flies in the first hour. Most similar machines appear to come from the same factory but most are more expensive. As a bonus this comes with spare tubes
Good effect without the use of chemicals
I loved this product. I live on a farm and we tend to get a lot of flies around at times. It was so effective that I ordered 4. Unfortunately one of them did not work, so I had to return it. It was replaced – no problem!
Works exactly how I remember the one in the chippy that I used to work in as a teenager. So satisfying to here that zapping noise again when it get one! The bulb is nice and bright and has no trouble whatsoever at attracting it’s prey. Energy consumption is low as well with it being 20w.
