I’ve only used this to take a warp out of watch bezels. I tie the two squeeze grips together and leave them in the contraptions grip for a few days to get a flat bezel. This really is quite cheap and does work.
If you have more than one watch is worth buying this tools to save some money and the time it takes you to get to a watch repair shop and give it to them to replace the battery for you. This tool is very easy to use, it has multiple diameter bits to fit most watches, simply fit the watch between the two pieces and press on the handle and boom job done.
Used to refit Citizen eco – drive case back after capacitor replacement. Worked well at first attempt – 10 second job. Wide range of case sizes catered for with supplied fitments. No complaints at all at the price.
I have a decent collection of Victorinox Swiss Army watches, some are “screw back” some are “snap back”. The little tool is for the snap back type of watch. In the past I have smashed a glass face of a watch trying to push the snap back case back onto the watch. This tool applies even force to snap the case back into place, the various dies are plentiful and if you choose the correct ones (for case back and mating watch) the process is simple. easy and safe for your watch.

Used about 10 times maximum, the soft aluminium lever that is used to put pressure on the case has broken, too soft material and a slot all the way along it’s length further reducing it’s usage time. So it works well for a short time before it breaks………..
I don’t need to use case back clamps very often so decided to opt for a budget option and very glad I did. This clamp comes with a lot of sizes of caseback ‘dies’ and two different caseback knives and works very well too. All this at les than the cost a jeweller would charge you for one battery replacement. All in all a decent quality tool at a bargain price that will last you for many years.
Great piece of equipment and a great investment. Closed the back on two watches I have been unable to wear for months. A battery in my local shop costs 15 to replace, so it has paid for itself already.
Forget trying to use bits of wood as seen on YouTube – doesn’t work on small watch cases. This bit of kit is cheap, all encompassing, very effective and prevents damage to your watch. Thoroughly recommended.
I have recently begun wearing wristwatches again. I picked up a lovely Fossil watch in a charity shop, popped the back off, put in the new battery, and went to pop the back cover on. No way would it go, tried pressing firmly in the middle, tried using a bit of wood as per Youtube. Nothing. So I ordered this. It did the job in seconds! Nice addition to my watch repair kit. The 2 tools will be handy for getting watch backs off, and getting into the blister packs of AG1 batteries. Very pleased.
Works great for pressing on case backs, fitting watch crystals, watch bezels, the time saved on fitting case backs alone is worth the price, I am delighted with this product and recommend it without reservation.
Really pleased with how robust and easy to use this item is. I have several watches that require battery changes from time to time, and this press is very reassuring that I won’t damage the watch. Wide range of dies supplied with it to suit watch. Cant fault this.
Very neat and works a treat. I had to disconnect one end of the watch strap to get access but the range of dies easily allowed for replacing the watch back. Very easy
bought this because i have watches that require a bandit to charge a small fortune to replace battery and stubborn backs every year. well what arrived did not require a degree to asseble and use. its replaced a back the bandit said wouldnt fit, and the construction is sturdy, I suppose if you suspended your body weight off the handle then something would snap or bend, but then what do you want ? its plenty strong for its intended use.
Comes with dyes for different size watches, handy for replacing watch backs and fitting new glass, is a knack to using this tool so advise using a old watch first to practice o
