I thought I would try Epson salt a try. I put a cup full into a bowl with 37 degree water and soaked my feet, very relaxing and feet feel good after, no aches afterwards.

Nice big bag of Bath salts. If used as written on packaging for muscle soreness relief, you go through it quite quickly. But if used as extra in a hot bath with roughly 2 handsfull; works perfectly and last a while (that is if you don’t take a bath with the salts every day Ofcourse)

Use this after hard runs, in a hot bath. Helps me relax. Reduction in muscle ache, unsure how much that is to do with the product and not just the hot water, but at the price I enjoy the smell and am happy with the effect from use.

This is a brilliant item, a marvel for aches and pains…..take time for a long relaxing bath and soak in it for at least 15 minutes for the salts to have their effect. And such a bargain, too!! Get in plenty for the winter.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMagnesium has been proven to be absorbed through the skin into the body. This is an excellent product to get magnesium into the body through the skin without taking tablets that can upset your stomach. It’s a very pure product and dissolves well in warm water.

I found out I was low on magnesium and decided to use this in foot baths to help my symptoms. I had another test and my magnesium levels were normal.

This product definitely works, as confirmed by tests. Build up the amount dissolved in water and you will feel the benefits of less muscle pains in no time.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAmazing value and I really do love this stuff!! It does wonders for aching muscles or insomnia.. It also helps with depression.. You wake up with energy after a soak in this salt, but you need to be fairly generous… Make a hot bath… Take a bottle of water to sip on and stay in it for at least 20 mins.. I prop my phone up and watch Netflix as im so wired I can’t relax but by the end of it…. I can barely lift myself out of the bath! Plan to get straight into bed after to get max benefi

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI have tried a few different brands of Epsom salts and this is by far my favourite one I have come across. I use this in the bath to help relieve soreness after a work out or when my back pain flares up. I found that having regular baths with 2 cups+ Epsom salts to be a life saver post childbirth. It really helps my muscles relax and soreness to go much quicker than with just a regular bath. I’ve also found this to help relieve tension headaches when nothing else worked. My sister has a bad back from a slipped disk and she regularly uses these as part of her pain management routine. It’s an effective was to help reduce soreness and inflammation and has really helped me to reduce the amount of pain killers I need! It can be on the expensive side but amazon has competitive prices and it’s the cheapest place I’ve found to buy it.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI order the 5kg bag which works out excellent value, I also have it on subscribe and save, saving me further. I honestly couldn’t be without them. I have had a rotator cuff shoulder injury for over a year, when the pain is really bad, even at rest I get in a bath with a lot of these salts in. It soothes the pain which still hurts when raising my arm, nothing except time will sort that. It does however take away the constant ache and pain after having a bath in these and allows me to go about my day, or sleep better. I also love the fact that the body drawers in magnesium through the skin if the body is lacking, we all use them for this in my family. They are also great for relaxing you, and any general aching muscles. They also help my partner when he gets a bad back. They’re like magic, they really do help me.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersYou know if epsom salt is important to you or not. For me, it’s about the only thing that can relieve my chronic muscle aches and continue the relief post-bath — everything else only helps while in the bath, and while the water is very hot. So, I can’t sell you on epsom salt if you just want, say, a more relaxing bath-time — other bath salts or a bath bomb would be better for that.
But if you need to use epsom salt regularly like I do, this is certainly one of the best prices you’re going to get for it — and I find this gusseted pouch much easier to store than the bucket that some other ones come in! So as far as that goes, I highly recommend buying this one. (I saved the 1kg pouch from this company to decant into from this one, and store the smaller one on the bathside.)

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was recently involved in a car accident, (Not my fault) and I came away with severe internal bruising and hurt like hell. 12 rounds with Mike Tyson would have nothing on this!
Bathing in the maximum level of salts really helped. I did this every day at first and have moved down to every two / three days now. I have noticed the difference and it has helped a great deal in easing the aches & pains. I notice the days I don’t do it and how much better I feel when I do.
It works for me but only you can decide if it does for you.
I do sometimes split these with the Himalayan salts too but keep to same brand if you do that, as the grade and strength will be the same.
My only suggestion is don’t rip open with your hands where the slit open tabs are. I suggest slowly with scissors as sometimes these bag split. Slight design flaw with the potential to catapult salt round your entire floor area, but if careful no problem.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI have been using this for many years now. I have M.E. and find it really helps to relax/ de-stress me. The first time I ever had this in the bath I had a really unusual feeling. A real feeling of energy. It was like I had had lots of caffeine for days, but I didn’t have a come down, it just slowly wore off. After this, I continued using it and didn’t have the feeling again. Many years later I had not used it for quite a while and I got the same effect. When looking this up on the internet, I came across a website that said that people that are severely magnesium deficient (many M.E. people are) can get a big boost/rush after using it. I now continue to use it in the belief that I must be deficient. It has never had any negative effects so is definitely worth a go for others. (having said that, my mum is allergic to sulphates so cannot use- so be careful of this).
I have also heard others get muscle ache benefits and know that roman baths had this mineral and used its waters for healing purposes.
A 5kg bath lasts me around 6 months. I only use in the bath and haven’t tried this orally (although have used a different magnesium supplement).
I would definitely recommend this product.
