Perfect for wild swimming
I bought this because the place where I booked to do wild swimming required a float, but I wanted one to keep my things dry too. This worked perfectly. After a long swim even my tissues were dry inside the float bag. Highly recommend.
Great and Really Highly Visible 👌
Really visible works well but definitely NOT Waterproof, we tried but if you want something to stay dry put it in a sealable bag first and avoid any sharp edges but it’s not what I needed it for, I just wanted help to stay afloat, yes would recommend it.
Ideal for wild swimming – small capacity – which is fine for me in the summer, few clothes to transport. I was reluctant to put my remote car keys in it, nor my phone. But actually what I did take was dry. And I was able to roll over like a sea otter, and use it as a pillow to rest & enjoy the sky sailing above me & trees slowly passing
Does the job if not wanting to store stuff
Smaller than the other one I bought (however cost less), would not really trust storing stuff in here as just a single layer and the storage compartment is the same as the air compartment.
Swim buoy
I bought this so when I go swim at the sea I’ll can be seen in case of emergency also used when I get tired swimming I just rest on it hahaha
So far so good
I took a real belt and braces approach. I purchased a separate waterproof wallet for my phone and loaded that plus my other items into a knotted bin liner which I then placed in the floatation bag.
All good and everything stayed dry.
Useful pillow for under your head whilst floating on the sea (remember to hang on to it!)!
I think I will continue to play it safe as above as should it fail there would be wet contents, but as I say purely belt and braces.
My only slight concern is it is quite light weight but as I say passed first use 100%
Brilliant for safety and security
I bought this for my husband who likes to swim in the sea and I’m not a beach person. He can put his phone, money, car keys etc inside the watertight bag knowing they are safe rather than leaving them under his clothes on the beach. The inflated bag floats behind the swimmer without disrupting swimming and makes the swimmer more visible to small craft such as jet skis etc
Did the job
Used this on a late night sea dipput a small torch in it and it kept dry!!! I was impressed – not sure I’d trust enough to put my phone i
Helps Disabled to go swimming
I have a Spinal Cord Injury and can only walk a few steps using a Zimmer frame. Getting into a swimming pool is great for rehab. I use the ‘Swim Buoy’ when I go swimming and also take it with me when I go on holiday. This allows me to exercise and strengthens my hips and legs. I can now walk twice the distance as a result of this exercise. You just ties it around your chest to keep you afloat. WARNING. Do not attempt to go into a pool without somebody with you.
Does the job!
Initially couldn’t work out how to attach the fastening strap to the buoy but looked at the Q&A and was easy to do once I found out. Nice long, adjustable waist strap and easy to inflate. I keep keys and phone in it and so far, they’ve stayed dry. Perfect for outdoor swimming when you don’t want to leave valuable on the bank.
Does the job and bright for visibility.
It does the job which it was bought for. However I also use the float to hold on to occasionally and find that it is a little rough around the edges – literally.
However it keeps me safe – so would buy again.
Dubious quality
Admittedly it was purchased in June but I thought it might last a little longer than this. I hadn’t put anything in the swim bag itself and only blown it up. It would seem to be a possible manufacturing fault as the seam appears to have broken. I have another and that one is fine.
Not too happy!!
