Easy to assemble
It is easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It is extendable so the size can be good for a little kid to a bigger child and it is very fun to play with.
Sturdy construsctio
Excellent hoop sound construction and my 7yr old grandson is having great fun honing his basketball skills.
My son in law assembled it in no time and it is easily portable
However it only goes up to 7ft height fully extended so it would be better if it could be adjusted to a higher level as I am sure my grandson will grow out of it in no time at all, otherwise its a great product which now will give my grandchildren a lot of fun.

New garden additio
The grandkids have just had the garden patio’d and LOVE using our hoop so we got them their own. Was a little fiddly to put together but once up this feels really sturdy and well made. We used water in the base which was easy to fill. The back board is solid and it doesn’t move in the wind. Kids love it, great addition, very happy.
Sturdy Basketball Hoop
This basketball hoop has been a fantastic addition to our outdoor setup. The adjustable height feature is perfect for players of all ages, and the sturdy design ensures it stays in place during intense games. The portability on wheels makes it easy to move and reposition. Assembly was fairly straightforward, though getting the height adjusted took a bit of trial and error. Despite this minor hassle, it’s a solid and durable hoop that provides a lot of fun for the whole family.
Good old fashioned fu
Short of permanently screwing a basketball hoop to the side of your house, this is the next best thing. It’s not difficult to assemble but just takes a good bit of time so be patient and take it one step at a time and you’ll get there. We’ve temporarily filled the base with water for now but I would prefer to replace this with sand as soon as I can as I think it will be better long term with sand.
This basketball hoop is a lot of fun! You can change the height so as your children grow you can get more use out of this. It’s great for getting the kids outdoors for some proper play instead of being stuck in front of TVs and games all the time. And it’s great for hand-to-eye coordination.
I’m not a sporty person myself and definitely not sport competitive but I’m happy to join in a family game of shoot the hoop. At the time of writing the hoop is 69.99 and a bit pricey but considering how sturdy it is and how it will grow with your children, I think it is worth the price for the fun you can have with it. Five out of five stars from me.
Perfect for Keeping the Kids Entertained Outdoors
The children really enjoy it. It keeps them engaged for hours. The construction quality is excellent. It has a metal pole, a sturdy backboard, and a base that stays put no matter how rough the kids play.
Adjusting the height is simple, which is fantastic because both my 10-year-old and 17-year-old can use it without any issues. One moment it’s set low for a game with the younger one, and in a snap, it’s raised up for my daughter and her friends to have a proper match.
Assembling it was surprisingly easy. With all parts clearly marked and an extra screw for each set, there was no frustration. Those wheels make moving it from the backyard to the garage easy.
The only downside is that the net could be stronger, but considering its versatility and solid construction, it’s a compromise. It’s a way to get the kids outdoors, active, and away from screens. Say goodbye to footballs damaging your flowerbeds and get one of these instead!
Need plenty of time to assemble
If you enjoy or don’t mind assembling items and are quite patient with building products then you won’t have an issue with this. It comes with a lot of parts with nuts and bolts, plus the tools to assemble them with.
Give yourself at least 2 hours with ample space to put this together, Follow the step-by-step instructions. There is a video included in this listing showing how to put this together, some bits have been skipped, but you’ll be able to work it out.
I did have to force one bar a few midges to align so that the bolt would pop through, but wasn’t a big issue.
Once assembled, you then have the final challenge of deciding to use sand or water. Sand would be less messy, but will be difficult to fill from the small hole, whilst water may be the preferred option, you will spill quite a lot unless you use a funnel.
Whichever option you take, it will take some time to complete, hence you’ll need a few brews to see you through this.
FInally complete and yes, it’s a good product, robust and stable, event with a half-filled base with water, as I got tired and decided to try it out as it was and it didn’t let me down.
If I was to criticise this, then I’d say the filling section should have been a big opening.
A great way to get kids outside
With the holidays here and the weather being fine the last thing you want is for your children to play computer games, so with that in mind I got this for my grandson who is 10.
I gave it to my son to put together and he found it fairly easy but just a bit fiddly and he needed a bit of help to get it up. The base was filled up with sand using a funnel to keep it nice and sturdy.
The set is really well made and strong with the back board helping to keep the ball of the flower beds.
The good thing about this set is that its height can be altered to cater for different ages of children.
The set has encouraged the whole family to have a go and the good thing is that it can be used on hard surfaces or grass so it can be used all year round.
A great way to spend time at only 69.99 for the set.
Great but not easy to put togethe
This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine program; however this in no way influences my review, all items I request are products that I have a use for or will use and the reviews i then submit are intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers.
Really decent set once you get it put together but the set does with its issues that a few have mentioned already, having to straighten parts or make some addjustments due to bolts not fitting as intended caused a few issues.
Sand filling is a complete pain, you need to use a funnel to make it easier, I do not recomending water as it will split the base in winter if you do not empty but great fun when completed.

Affordable basketball hoop built for price sensitive users, and kids. Not the best ones in terms of built quality, but it is designed not only for small kids below or at Grade 2 but also works for kids up to grades 4 grades as its height could be adjusted from 4.8 to 8.5 ft.
Installation was pretty complicated, A lot of parts to be put together, and a lots of steps to follow. It took me more than 2 hours with my kiddo to put them together. Kind of a good weekend project with the little ones. How nice!

This free-standing hoop is a bargain, turning out countless hours of fun for a small investment. The hoop is not that easy to put together, but I managed to do it alone, using a ladder as a prop as the directions suggest. I filled the base with sand (a painstaking process given the small hole) to prevent cracking in winter, and this thing is sturdy. The photos show bags of sand on top for extra strength, but that was just because I had sand left over. My son and I have been playing on this hoop all summer: great purchase! Extra note: the original package was missing a couple crucial parts, but Yoohood immediately remedied the situation by sending an entire new package! I have double parts now, but great customer service.
he instructions were easy enough to follow. its def a 2 person build, a little frustrating at times to assemble, the bolts don’t tighten flush, but seems to be fine. the bar was bent and i had to use a hammer to straighten it out. easily adjustable. great quality. really happy overall. my sore old body wasn’t too happy with all the bending and stretching to assemble but that’s on me, surely easier for someone more in shape.
