Brought this for daughters birthday and she was so pleased. Lovely quality and the barbie includes slime which was a massive hit and also a few other surprises. Smells lovely
As always Barbie products produced to a high standard. My daughter enjoyed playing with this doll. The slime provided was a fantastic addition.
Only complaint, lots of plastic on the toy itself (not packaging) that unfortunately just wasn’t played with so needed recycling (cup, ice cubes, straw, lid, bags).
Barbie is definitely back in fashion this year and may just be the must have doll around this Christmas so of course there are MANY new versions and this one combines Barbie with a sensory overload. The slime is fun for anyone (though not those who clean up the mess!) but it certainly didn’t look as fab as it does in the advert! The Barbie is actually fairly fruity in scent which makes her fun, along with her themed accessories. She also slightly colour changes/reveals her strawberry themed hair and face. I’ve seen these dolls cheaper than current selling price of just under 20 so you’ll need to shop around to grab a bargain but will be a hit with your Barbie enthusiasts, but may be not many parents!
The allure of surprises has always been magnetic, and this Barbie Pop Reveal Doll delivers just that, with a fun fruit-themed twist. The sensory unboxing experience was nothing short of magical for my niece. The pink slime release over ice cubes had her giggling with anticipation. And when she discovered the strawberry lemonade-scented Barbie and the themed accessories? Pure joy! The attention to detail, from the matching scented pet to the accessories, truly enriches the play experience. Though we enjoyed the entire unboxing sequence, a bit more durability in the packaging could elevate it even further. Still, it’s a delightful experience wrapped in a toy.
It’s Barbie so what’s not to like, it’s well made, great quality and has loads of joints to make it fully articulate. This water melon crush version looks great and comes with a few accessories and also has the added feature of changing the colour of some parts of the doll by rubbing ice on her which my daughter loves but why add slime?
The video advert shows how the slime release works perfectly and is mess free but in reality, it creates one big mess and trust me you don’t want to get it on any rugs!
I know new ideas keep coming out to make toys like Barbie more interesting but the slime idea gets a big thumbs down from me, although the wife tells me not to be such a grouch but then she didn’t have to clean the rug and even trim it a little!
Anyway, the Barbie itself is a massive hit with my daughter who loves anything to do with Barbie and she spends hours playing with it so it gets 4 stars for that, however I dropped a star for the slime which will no longer see the light of day.
I enjoyed opening this Barbie and all of her surprise bags. It does get messy though because of all the slime! The doll it’s self is good quality. The only thing is I wish her hands could move, but that’s only because I use them for photography so that may not matter to someone else who would play with the doll. Overall she is good quality, fun to unbox and not a bad price!
