We tested this trial lunch bag on a half term zoo trip. It worked out pretty well. We are a family of two adults and three children. It was roomy enough to carry all our lunch, drinks and snacks for a busy day. The separate compartments made it easy to organise the food so the many stops for snacks were easy to sort, find and then get moving again. The insulated padding material kept it all cool out the fridge. Pretty sturdy and good quality material and design too. The adjustable strap was in the front zip pocket and easily clipped on and adjusted as needed. Great!

This bag is sturdy and well stitched. It looks like a qualiy product that will last for years yet has a sensible price tag,
The top and side pockets are very useful for smaller items that do not need to be kept warm or cold.
I already have two larger bags but needed a smaller bag for those occasions when I need to carry less.
It is ideal for shopping trips, camping and days out.

13.99 at the time of review.

This represents very decent value considering what you’re paying for this.

    Pros:
    – Well made bag with 15L of storage
    – I’ve used this mainly for supermarket trips but it does keep all my frozen stuff from thawing
    – Foldable so convenient for keeping in the car or around the house

    Cons:
    – 15L is hard to visualise but it isn’t massive, you’ll get a handful of things in here really. Not necessarily a con but something to be aware of

Let’s talk about my new kitchen sidekick—the 15L Insulated Cooler Bag. It’s not just a bag; it’s become my buddy in the world of keeping food warm and turning every meal into a small celebration.

The first time I saw this bag, I knew it was more than just a carrier. With its adjustable shoulder strap, it became my go-to for toting around my culinary creations with ease.

This cooler bag turned into the perfect stage for my cooking experiments. With its 15L space, it’s like a magic box that fits all my dishes, making every meal an event. I can carry all my essentials without compromising on style or functionality. The extra-thick and leakproof design gives me the confidence to transport liquids without worrying about spills—plus, the waterproof feature is a lifesaver for those unexpected rainy days. A simple wipe is all it takes to keep it clean and ready for the next adventure. The additional front and side pockets are a stroke of genius, providing a perfect home for my keys and earbuds. No more rummaging through the bag to find these small items—they’re easily accessible whenever I need them.

Using this bag to keep food warm it doesn’t just keep things hot; it’s like a magic spell that keeps the flavors alive. From soups to casseroles, it’s the guardian of deliciousness. Every bite feels like it just came out of the kitchen, warm and tasty. The cooler bag doesn’t just keep things warm; it’s like a wizard controlling temperatures.

This is a stylish and well made cool bag with a large capacity.

The outer is made of a tough nylon type material with useful outer pockets to keep other non chilled items with you such as crisps etc. There is a carry handle on the top and you also get a detachable shoulder strap, handy if you intend to carry it with you for extended periods of time.

The inner is the usual silver thermal plastic. In my experience this does weaken over time and start to crack and fail, bit time will tell on that. I tested the seals and waterproofing by filling the bag up with a couple of inches of water, there was no sign of any leaks which is an excellent sign of its build quality.

Price wise, I think this offers good value for money, it’s versatile and has the capacity to store enough food for a family outing.

The only negative aspect for me is the misleading product description. It states 15l, I measured it and its around 28x22x20 giving a volume of around 12.3l, I may be under measuring, so that’s within tolerance. However, it states it can hold 24 330ml cans, as you can see from my picture, I can fit 6 cans per layer and although it’s over the height, the bag will.still close with 2 layers, I cannot see how you can get 24 cans in there? Also, the illustrative family picnic picture makes it look a lot bigger than it is?

Other than that, this is a great product that performed very well.

4.0 out of 5 stars Large cool bag, well made but volume is overstated.

The stippled black finish makes this efficient bag look less plasticky than many you see.
It has a generous capacity, plus a large zip pocket suitable for phone, spectacles, keys etc; two mesh side pockets; a comfortable handle and a carrying strap.
I take mine when I go shopping, so frozen items aren’t in danger of thawing during the journey home.
    Sturdily made and good value.

This proved to be an attractive cooler bag. At 15L it is not too large to carry around and will hold a lot of produce easily.

The bag itself can be folded up to make it easy for storage. The fabric feels sturdy and it looks attractive. The sides of the bag have mesh pockets, ideal for carrying a few extra items that don’t need to be kept cool (or warm). Additionally, the fabric is waterproof, ensuring your food will remain okay even if you get caught in a rain shower.

The shape of the bag is nice being almost square. The front has a zipped pocket, ideal to store some smaller items. The top of the bag has a zipped opening that goes almost the whole way around. The zips are solid and seem sturdy enough to last a long time.

The interior lining of the bag is made from food-grade PEVA foil, so ensuring the safety of your food if any is being stored unwrapped.

The bag is fitted with a handle on the top. Now this makes it easy to carry but I feel the handle is not in the right place. Since it is fitted to the top, all the weight inside the bag is going to be carried by the zips, and zips are not known for being able to support a lot of weight. Perhaps okay if you are carrying a small amount of food or lightweight sandwiches, but I certainly wouldn’t carry the bag by the handle if I had anything heavy.

There is a shoulder strap with the bag (you will find it folded in the front zipped pocket). This is plenty good enough and the fastenings to the size seem to be strong. My own concern is that the shoulder strap, even pulled out to its maximum, still remained quite short on the review model I was sent. For my taste, I would have preferred a long strap so the bag hung lower but it is a small point and I haven’t considered it to be a negative.

This falls in a good price range when compared with similar products on the marketplace. It seems to be well-made, all stitching is perfect, the zips work easily. Although I am still concerned about the sense of placing a handle on the lid so that the zips support the weight, I am sure customers will opt for the safer shoulder strap option if they are carrying heavier contents.

Very pleased with the thickness of the insulation of the bag to keep items cool or warm.

The bag is a perfect size for a picnic for two people or picking up a takeaway, and the handle on the top of the bag makes it easier to carry than most, which just have the shoulder strap (which this does as well).

I really like this bag, insulation to keep contents cold for 6-12hrs with the aid of an ice block (not supplied) and a double zippered top flap.
It has mesh pockets at each end and a zippered front pocket too. There is a shoulder strap included and strong looking strap connectors at the ends of the bag. There is also a top carry handle.
I am sure this will get lots of use in our family, pleased to have ours.
