This is great i use on meta quest 3 and it’s the only thing I have found that charges it as your using the headset because of the larger output but bear in mind it is a little bigger than a phone and a little heavy due to the capacity.

    Slim but heavy
For the power it has, it is brilliant!

It takes a considerable amount of time, maybe over 12 hours, to fully charge, but when it’s fully charged, it’s a beast. My Redmi Note 10 Pro, I managed to get 2 charges (my phone’s battery was approx 15% and 20%), whilst on a recent trip to New York. Even after the 2 charges, there was plenty of juice still left.

Unlike any of my last 2 powerbanks, and unlike any other powerbank I’ve seen, it is very slim, and yet it still packs a punch for it’s charging power.

Although it’s pleasantly slim, I was surprised its wider and slighlty longer than my last 2 powerbanks, so not ideal for small pockets.

It’s disappointing that it’s not a digital display to show the power left in the powerbank, instead there are small lights which stay on to reflect the life of the powerbank.

Despite the minor criticism I have outlined, it’s an absoulte must have for travllers. I purchased this specially for a holiday to New York, and it was a lifesaver.

    Superb charger!
Bought 2 of these, one for myself and one for my partner as we were going to a 5 day long festival. At the end of the 5 days each power bank had 2 lights remaining! (4 lights at full charge!). So after 5 days use, roughly once a day to full phone charge, we are amazed by them and would definitely buy again.
    These are simply amazing!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMonster of a powerbank that'll go & go with excellent support to boo
I’ve been using this powerbank for more than a year now & it’s done cracking service. It’ll charge my battery-killer iPad pro from flat or my iPhone X a few times. Even on travel over a couple of days I’ve not fallen short.

One of the things that nearly stopped me buying it was the complaint that it died / lost charge capacity after a while. Indeed I thought that mine had also, and contacted Charmast support to complain. They kindly sent me a replacement that also only seemed to go to 2 units. The solution was simple. When I tried charging them using the supplied short cable, both kicked through all the way to 4 units. I’m writing this in the hope that someone who’d experienced this problem tries it out – if not, contact the support team, they were great.

They say that you get to know a company properly through how they handle complaints and I can honestly say that my experience of Charmast has shown them to be very serious about customer support. I’d defo buy from them again.

    Powerful multi device portable charge
This portable charger is quite large but the unique selling point for me was that I can charge multiple devices at the same time and still have juice left to fully charge devices for up to 72 hours before the battery needs recharging. Only disadvantage is that its slightly heavy. Good value for money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSlim and powerful
While this may not be the smallest or lightest USB power supply, it is nice and thin. Easy to slip into your pocket or squeeze into a tightly packed bag.

Plenty of power for the whole family thanks to its capacity and abundance of charging ports.

Multiple options to recharge – USB-C being the fastest but also really handy to be able to charge using an iPhone cable if needs must.

Battery level indicator is just 4 LEDs, which is adequate but not as clear as the percentage displays on some other units. A minor issue though, capacity and connectivity is what matters most.

    Would recommend!

    Works well
Having had it for over a month and done a 4+ days long camping trip, i can say with certainty that this is good. Seems to be able to charge my iphone 14 pro max multiple times and stay charged for long when not in use. Pretty fast.

I would have preferred a usb-c output as well but not a deal breaker for me.

I guess, the only other question yet to be answered is about longevity but that needs time.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBest power bank I own EXCEPT!…
One ISSUE with this power bank. If you are making use of the USB-C PD feature which is 9-12volts and running a DC to USB-C adapter that works very well with other PD power banks then you’re not going to be able to charge ANY other devices without the PD losing power. It’s probably due to it not handling voltage changes say between devices connected.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersBrilliant power bank but not stated capacity
I love this power bank. I travel across the globe for work so having a back up for my Bose headphones, my tablet and my phone is a must have item. I primarily bought this because of the USB c fast charging and it does great at this. The quality of the power bank is also great. It is slimmer than most banks on the market and just a touch wider however this is a much better form factor.

My only gripe is that it is not 26000mah capacity in my opinion after using it for a few weeks. I would rate it at somewhere between 10,000 and 15,000. BUT….this is no issue for me and gives me all the power I need until I reach my destination or a wall socket.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAn overall great powerbank
I’ve had this powerbank for a couple of months now and it’s still going strong. One downside is that it takes at least half a day or more to fully charge the powerbank, other than that, it charges devices fast, I love the multiple sockets. I’ve charged both my phone and laptop at the same time and had no issues of overheating etc. It’s slim and easily transportable as well which is perfect since I don’t always carry large bags around with me. Great product!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersNice power bank but usable power is somewhat less than headline
Like the power bank esp. the quick charge capability. Slim profile. However there is no way the usable power is as high as 26Ah. I use this primarily for charging an S8 which has 3000mAh capacity, and a cycle GPS unit which is probably around half that and I’m rarely charging that from less than 50%. So while I haven’t done a ‘controlled experiment’ I’m pretty confident the usable capacity is probably sub 20 Ah.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExcellent Produc
I am very picky about the tech I use and this has performed above and beyond. I brought this on holiday with my 3 friends and it kept all our phones charged for each day consistently with battery to spare afterward.

At the time of writing this its charging capabilities are nearly to that of wall fast charging but only quickcharge 3.0 and not 4.0, regardless really fast charging and can hold multiple devices at a time (I like to use it to power a usb fan + charge my phone at the same time).

For its battery capacity its really compact, only very slightly thicker and about the same size as a modern smartphone. Comes with a few different cables however more than likely you will just use the cables you usually charge with, especially if designed for quickcharge.

Great price, great product, no complaints at all with plenty of situational testing.

Excellent powerbank, but be aware of size and weigh
This is a powerful powerbank, but I was still a bit surprised at how big and heavy it is. I suppose it has to be. It’s not thick, but it’s about 150% as wide and tall as an iPhone X.

That’s the only real downside that I can see with it.

Having four output ports is why I go this, so I can charge multiple items at one time when travelling.

I used it today to charge my Macbook Pro 13 inch from 3% charge to 65% charge and it took just over two hours. I also charged my iPhone X from about 60% back up to 100%.

After doing that I’m still getting two of the four LED’s lighting up, which suggests there could be as much as 50% charge left. That’s quite a lot of charging and it’s probably quite rare that I’d need to charge my Macbook in all honesty.

So all in all, a good powerbank, tons of power, lots of output options, comes with a nice case but it’s not a pocketable powerbank unless you have pretty big pockets.

In a backpack or camera bag there’d be no problem. For my most likely uses that’s what I’ll do, keep it in the camera bag.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFirst powerbank cooked itself but charmast fixed the issue
So after 4 days of not having any response from Charmast they sent me an email explaining that they had taken long in responding because of having to wait on their laboratory to get back to them with informatin on why my powerbank had cooked itself.. The replacement has so far been working very well with no problems…Thank you Charmast

Original post: I purchased the charmast powerbank 26800mah QC version after viewing a few reviews on YouTube is seemed very good for the price.
The very first day I received this powerbank, I plugged in the usb cable that came with it straight into the orange QC port and a spark came from the usb port and the powerbank didn’t seem to be responding but there was a strong burning smell so I unplugged the usb and realised the smell was from the orange port and the whole area around the port was very hot and seemed to be getting hotter by the minute so I called amazon and was advised to throw it out as this could be a fire hazard.
I have since emailed charmast about the problem and have had no response towards what has happened with their product. I have had other charmast products before and have always thought of them to be a decent brand and company but due to no response about whats happened I have lost faith in them.
I’m sure that my unit had a defect of some sort so I know that not all will have this problem however this is still a problem that needs to be looked into and for a company like charmast which should be professional in dealing with responses but so far have failed….

Works well for travel, will charge HP Specte x360 only when laptop is OFF
I bought this just before travelling to Australia earlier this year, before the lockdowns, and while there I got a great deal on an HP Spectre x360 laptop. I didn’t buy this battery pack with using it on a laptop but I thought I’d try it. What I found was, regardless of BIOS settings, the laptop will only charge when shutdown. When running (even sleeping) it wants to delivery power instead and charges the power bank. This can be a bonus as you can power the laptop and charge the battery (slowly) at the same time on one external charger. Hope that helps anyone who gets odd results with their HP laptops!

Other kit that works fine – Canon RP camera will charge from the PD port and DJI Mavic Mini multi-battery charger will also quick charge using the QC USB port – but I only tested this as I never needed to do this in the field, so to speak.

On the unit itself I like the slimline design – much more condusive to being slipped in a pocket on a backback than the more traditional 18650 cell based battery packs. Never ran out of charge on a normal day out, but sometimes I did forget to pack enough cables!

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersBest travel companion ever! Hotels, weekends away and ok for ✈cabin 🧳
I hate it when I travel and I forget my charging cable or my plug… Typical because I never seem to run out of battery except THOSE days. Never again!
This power bank will now be my new travel companion!

    Pros
-3 inputs to charge the power bank
QC3.0 with 3.0 power adapter charges it the fastest
But the easiest (and cheapest way) is to leave the power bank charging over night
    -4 outputs.
You can charge 4 different devices simultaneously
    – Sleek design
Not much bigger than my iPhone X as seen in the video
    -Fingerprint free casing.
If you’ve owned one of those that get fingerprints just by looking at them, I know you will understand what I mean.
    -Huuuuge battery capacity 26800mAh
I can almost charge my iPhone X 10 times
-Smart QC 3.0 charge (QC1.0 and QC 2.0 compatible). 3.0 charging cable will be required.
-Battery level indicator with 4 blue lights
-Safeguard technology to protect devices from excessive current flow, over charging and over heating. So charge fast, charge in the go, but charge safely!
-Complete purchase with carry case and three charging cables (1 type C cable and 2 USB cables) Guys… no Apple cable is included (Make sure you have yours to hand if you own an iPhone)

    What would I improve?
I wouldn’t have minded to pay extra and also receive a 3.0 charging cable and a QC3.0 power adapter. As at least this way I would have everything I need for my Quick charging needs. But I guess not everyone buys this power bank thinking in quick charging and therefore it’s not included.

    Cons
    None!
This power bank has great overall quality, amazing battery capacity and all at a very affordable price!

    Would I buy again?
Power banks as this one usually last for absolutely ages, but if my partner needed one for work etc, I would definitely buy another.

    Would I recommend?
As long as you have checked the phones and models which are not compatible due to different charging protocols…. Of course!
Note/ This is not in any way, shape or form the fault of the power bank. It’s simply different technologies. Like trying to fault a petrol pump for not being able to fill a diesel car Well more or less!

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our Users*UPDATED* High capacity and sleek, customer services was very helpful!
    *UPDATE*: 07/08/2019

Their customer support team have given me a detailed explanation about the QC 3.0 charging function and is as follows:

“After reported this issue to our Tech Dept support, I was told that the reason why it cannot work with your phone as following points.

They are using different quick charging protocols.

We checked the shipset adopted for this W2002P 26800mAh power bank, it can only compatible with 2 different Quick Charge protocols: QC and PD(USB power delivery).

However, we checked which protocol your Samsung Galaxy S10 used. And as we see, that’s Samsung company’s own Quick Charge protocol: AFC charging protocol.

For Samsung company, usually they are using 3 different quick charge technology for mobile phones.
    Samsung own charging technology: AFC
2 universal quick charging protocols: QC 3.0 and PD (USB power delivery)

Though both devices equipped with QC function, they are using different chipset and charging protocols.
So, they may not compatible with each other when charging and will turns into standard 5V/2A charging automatically.

For Samsung phones, above S9 versions, (for example S9+/S10/S10+/S10e etc.) they are using AFC technology which is incompatible with standard QC 3.0 tech.”

TL;DR: Double check the charging protocol of your phone model to see if it is compatible for quick charge with the orange QC 3.0 port.

Samsung uses their own charging protocol (AFC) and can only be quick charged using the PD usb-C port only. Customer services were very helpful and provided an alternative model that is compatible.

Golden Review Award: 90 From Our UsersCharging 3 devices at the same time is an upgrade for me
I thought I would use it for my iPhone when I’m on the go. I have however been using it mostly to charge my iPad while I am at home. I’m usually stuck in one location when the iPad is charging but now I just plug in the Charmast power bank and I can easily move around freely with my iPad when I’m at home.

What confused me for a while was when I wanted to charge the power bank the white lights on the side would blink one after the other once and then only one light would blink. It takes a while until you see any progress. After a while you’ll see one light stay on and the next start blinking and so on until it is fully charged. It takes about half a day and a night to charge to full.

(BTW. Manual says the lights flicker. They actually blink when it’s being charged)

Overall very happy with it as I can charge my iPhone and iPad at the same time.
Also I can use my iPhone charger with my longer cable to charge it.

Recommended for you who need to charge iPad and phone at the same time at home or on your travels.
