When lying on the silk pillowcase, it is nice and cool which is amazing for summer and winter months in combination with an appropriate thickness blanket. When laying down on it, you can’t really feel much friction compared to traditional pillowcases. You can move around comfortably without the fear of messing up your hair as when I wake up after switching to this pillowcase, I don’t get unmanageable bed hair. It is also great for reducing the friction on your face which can help prevent acne, this is a great feature for sensitive skin. However, the frictionless surface makes it hard to stack another pillow on top if you are a sleeper that prefers having your head higher up.
The pillowcase is very easy to clean. I personally use a gentle detergent formulated for gentle materials such as silk which I purchased seperately and att it in warm water and leave it for 30 minutes, agitating it gently before setting a timer. I then rinse it out under warm water to get all the detergent out of it and put it flat on a clean towel, rolling it up and gently squeezing to get excess water out of it. I then hang it up outside out of direct sunlight to prevent damage to the material. Since the material is breathable, it dries very quickly which is a big advantage if you live in an area with constantly changing weather.
Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and I definitely recommend this silk pillowcase if you are interested in getting one.
Please note that if you get liquid on it such as water, it can cause water marks. However, in my experience, it usually comes out the next time you wash it.
Last ones said they were silk but not as my hair suffered. Now silk on my pillows hair is getting better. No creases on my face so comfortable, easy to clean, and white colour is good
I now have quite a few of these silk pillowcases. I could never go back to a cotton pillowcase. They are cool to sleep on. I never wake up with marks or lines on my face like you can with a cotton one. I never wake up with horrendous hair and yhey are great for curly hsir, you won’t wake up with frizz. There are so many benefits to a silk pillowcase so do your research. I also have bought a few of these as gifts and everybody loves them. Highly recommend.
These are not the cheapest but there’s a reason for that, they are so comfy, silky and fresh. Makes a big difference, no more knotted hair or creases on my face. Highly recommend
if you have thick long curly hair, these pillowcases are really worth buying.
You wake up with zero knots or tangles and shiny hair.
may seem a lot to pay for a pillowcase but what you wont need to spend out anymore on is heaps of hair products.
Im so shocked at how this truly works.
BUT it already improved things for me after only 3 nights. I had really heavy bags under my eyes on my right side…which is where I sleep.
With my new pillowcase a reduction in this by 20 percent at least is VISIBLE. I lways slept on cotton before. I am not saying use this brand…no idea as this is my first silk pillowcase. I am just saying give silk a go.
