Been using this for a week or so now, and it’s worked really well. It looks to be well made, and just make sure to keep the solar panel in an area which gets good sunlight for the pump to work efficiently.

I bought the larger 6.5 pump fountain for a small sunken tub of water I place on my property for the wildlife, I anchor the rubber fountain part with a small brick, It keeps the water moving and from becoming stagnant, I like that the pump won’t break if I can’t return in a few days to replenish the water. I’ve viewed or have seen tracks from; snakes, lizards, horned toads, quail, different variety of high desert birds, and coyotes drinking from it It’s a good feeling to give back to Mother Earth, we’ve tooken so much. Will bring in when it starts to snow don’t think it will last the winter. Its been running for 8 weeks now. Here’s an update the fountain is still working, it’s the middle of Oct and the fountain is still running.

I bought this to go in a fountain and to work with another system, and it worked great. The solar panel is very large and generates a lot of power so much so that it ran both fountains all day well into the evening. I will be buying this again in the future when I expand my outdoor water space.

So easy to assemble. It comes with little pictures of the different spray patterns and which parts to put together and in which order to get the pattern you want. A very small pump but don’t be put off, super solar panel, and the spray on the fountain is more powerful than I expected bearing in mind how tiny the pump is.
I am using mine in a wild life pond about 3ft square and this will be a lovely addition to it. It wouldn’t be suitable for a large pond, the scale would be wrong. It would be perfect for a small water feature.

I’ve wanted one of these solar powered fountains for a while.
This one has a big solar panel.
    Comes with lots of attachments.
Could do with longer tubes though.
But I really like it and it works at night too not just when the sun is on it.
It packs a punch as it’s 6.5w as well!
    Great value for the price.

The solar system works well. Mine may run at night but I would not care. The solar panel does a wonderful job. Much stronger than the one I had 15 years ago. Even on a day with a lot of cloud cover, water is pumping. I put it in a position to collect the morning and afternoon sun. I like the size of the pump. The big round ones leave little room for birds. I do not have an electric outlet in the places I want to place the birdbath so the solar with the long cord provides lots of options. My biggest problem is no one has bathed in it. A goldfinch took a drink. The biggest manufacturing problem I find is the fountain with any spray attachments pumps water outside many to most birdbaths. I tried working on one by gluing some of the holes in the spray attachment. May address the problem with more work. I just use
the main short nozzle. People who are getting poor fountain spray, make certain that your solar collector is clean and tilted to where it will gather the most sun. If the water gets lower, the spray pressure lessens. I also took my little pump apart and removed some gunk and debris. Not as difficult as it appears. My bath is slightly under a tree and stuff comes from that. Also, stones and decor have leave debris. My sandstone leaves reds and particles. So think about what you should do to keep the
pump running. I liked the unit so well, that I bought another. I just have to determine what my birds do not like. Also, the shutoff for low water works.

The cord from the solar panel to the pump islong enough that you can place it far enough away that it does not distract the attraction of your water feature. It’s pumps for about 5 hours after the sun has set and has had the solar panel in the sunlight all day. I was impressed by both of these topics. I would recommend this pump to others who have small water features.

his solar fountain comes with multiple nozzles and works good as described. pump is small and easy to setup and assemble. Need to place the solar panel in direct sunlight to work. Nice decoration for your garden.

At the risk of sounding overly poetic, a garden is a living canvas, and this solar fountain adds a layer of interactive art. The battery backup works subtly in the background, compensating for our often grey skies. Even on less sunny days, the water keeps flowing.
The choice of nozzles is a nice touch, letting me switch the mood depending on whether it’s a lively family barbecue or a meditative afternoon with a book. Do make sure you clean the pump regularly; a little bit of maintenance prevents it from turning into a water feature with an identity crisis.
The fact that it can be adapted to different water bodies around my home is a bonus. Fish seem to like it as much as I do, which is always a good sign. It’s not a gaudy ornament but integrates naturally into the garden landscape.

This is a great pump and solar panel kit. I have two of these and use them to move and filter water in a 150 gallon and a 750 gallon outdoor pond. I set up a filter system around the pump so it doesn’t get clogged with debris and muck. The pump moves enough water to keep the water clear – I can see the dirt and rocks at the bottom. The solar panel is awesome. It works on sunny and partly cloudy days. Even some days that have been cloud covered but bright. There is also a battery on the panel, because once the sun sets, the pump continues working for a a while (maybe 30-60 minutes). This is not a huge pump though. Don’t expect it to filter a huge pond; you would need a much larger pump. I have had these running for 6 weeks without any problems, but I do clean the filter sponges and pump every two weeks.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this for my birdbath, and love that it has a solar panel for continuous working throughout the night. I had to remove the sprayer attachment, though, as all of them sprayed the water out of the bath. Would love more of a fountain effect, but it keeps the water moving, and the birds are enjoying it. The moving water also keeps away the mosquitoes. And because the panel is not part of the fountain, l you can cover it with river rocks for a more aesthetic appeal.
