I can’t comment on the camera itself as its a gift but it looks great. I’m a bit disappointed because I orded this to come with an sd card but I didn’t get one.
My previous action camera eventually retired and it wasn’t cheap !!!!
So I was quite happy to buy another one until I came across the AKASO Brave 4 Pro cam on Amazon.
I was initially wary of buying this product but I have given it a go and have found it to be just as good as the other higher and overinflated Go Pro cameras available.
I do cycling and have mounted it on the handlebar and it has more than met my expectations.
So if it was me I would check there website out first before you waste your money on dearer options.
I bought this camera to attach to my e-bike handle-bars. It works a treat. Fantastic quality, robust and comes with lots of extras.
Totally worth the money when comparing with the branded camera.
I’ve had a go pro for a while and was really peeved by the battery life ..
A friend recommended the Akaso as he was suffering with the same problem…
The camera is great. 2 screens lots of different modes and accessories..
My favourite is the wristband remote to start stop .. quality of video and playback is great and inbuilt stabilisation is superb

I upgraded to this after being very happy with a previous similar action cam from another manufacturer. The touchscreen UI is very intuitive and easy to navigate, which makes changing between modes and switching settings a breeze. The image quality is great and I have been surprised by the battery capacity (in a good way), plus it’s great to have the back-up of a spare battery ready charged.
Just bought this so too early to go e an in depth review but first impressions are of a high quality product and great value. Packaging was nice and practical without being excessive. On taking it all out everything was there and after charging up the batteries in the twin charger, which was a nice inclusion even though you can charge them in the camera, I had it setup in minutes. Connecting to the app on my phone was also straight forward. Lots of features which I will enjoy finding out more a out as I use it. Plenty of accessories to get you started as well haven’t had a chance to figure them all out yet but they seem of good quality. All in all I am impressed with the quality of this camera so far and looking forward to using it next week doing some kayaking and a white water rafting trip so excited to see the results. Only giving it 4 stars at this time until I e used it a bit more then will update.
Very good value item particularly when compared to the well know opposition. Useful screens (front and rear) and intuitive controls. Seems robust and recorded picture quality looks good even on a large flat screen tv. I’m using mainly to record walks and holidays rather than action as such and the compact size makes the camera easy to transport. Delivered with a multitude of accessories which should cover most of the ways to mount the camera and also a spare battery. Image stabilisation is OK so far but not yet tried in more challenging ways (such as the handlebars on my bike). I bought the external mic separately though this is only really needed if audio is a major factor for use.
