It took him a couple of days to warm up to it because he was so used to cat food that was not “real food”… but now he’s hooked, won’t eat anything else.
My cats absolutely adore this product. Have tried many other types but I end up throwing them away but not with Applaws. They eat every last bit!
We use Applaws because we know we’re giving quality food to our cats. They love the taste and it keeps them happy, healthy and ready for mischief!

Very fast delivery. My rescue cat Thea is a very fussy cat when it comes to food. She is 3 yrs old. By chance I picked her up a can of Allpaws Tuna and Crab and she loves it. I am going to buy her other flavours to she what she likes. I have tried her on 3 others but she didn’t seem to like them. Different taste for all cats. I would recommend Allpaws and has soon as I get her to try the other flavours I will be ordering them also. Thank you Allpaws. You have a very happy cat and me the mummy 🙂 I would recommend by a couple cans of different flavours first to see what takes your cats fancy.

Both my cats love these tins. Applaws do a variety of types with some being in jelly, but these are the favorite, in natural broth. They love the tuna and crab and the plain tuna. Applaws also do pouches in a broth which they like, especially Atlantic prawn. I believe they are all a supplementary food so I provide a bowl of complete food biscuits. They’re great to give cats a nice balance of dry and wet food. And I like that they’re not packed with loads of odd ingredients like you see on the classic supermarket brands. These are a bit more pricey but still very reasonable I think, and clearly yummy from the empty bowls!

My cats both love this food. Clean bowls every time. Downside is that it’s expensive but you get what you pay for I suppose. One of the few foods with real meat/fish
As the owner of a cat that has significant food allergies that cause illness if she eats even a small quantity of ‘forbidden’ food, I had to gain an understanding of cat food in super-quick time. I learnt that a headline ingredient in many cat foods, such as ‘cod’ could mean that as little as maybe 4% of the content was cod and the rest could be from any source whatsoever – meat/fish and animal derivatives is something to avoid as much as possible.
Applaws cat food is great for any cat with food allergies as the ingredients are pretty much all listed; I remain slightly suspicious of ‘fish broth’, but was reassured this was just the cooking water for the tin in question and didn’t have any other unknown sources of fish. My cat, who isn’t allergic to any fish, loves these tins and finishes the lot and does not suffer any of the effects we saw when she had eaten something she shouldn’t.
If you have a cat that may have allergies or has been tested and you have a list of what to avoid, these tins are definitely worth trying. There isn’t anything hidden and not specified on the ingredient list so, check that and you should be fine, as should your cat.
I bought a pack of this as a treat for my cat, as I’d just got a kitten I didn’t want to make my older cat feel left out, well she wouldn’t touch it, but the wee kitten, well she will eat nothing else, she likes this flavour, she’s going off the chicken and pumpkin, but will no doubt go back to it, I’ve had to order some more, she refuses all kitten food, so I have to dig deep for this, it is more expensive than most cat food, but it’s grain free and all natural, it’d be good if they did a kitten food, one with extra calories and vitamins, but I’m happy she’s eating something as she’s a tiny wee thing. All in all its cheaper to shop around on here than the local pets at home
Having reached that sad stage where I am moving towards the end days, with a beloved, ailing, elderly cat, part of ‘palliative care’ for sure involves trying every trick in the book to get reasonable quantities of food eaten.
The boy, originally a completely unfussy, voraciously hungry, half starved rescue kitten who would have eaten anything that reasonably resembled any kind of food fit for any kind of creature, has, over the years, developed fussier, more gourmet tastes. Essentially – it is new, I haven’t had THAT before. So I have a cupboard full of all kinds of flavours and makes (of course, the more expensive are the ones which gain approval)
I tried one sachet of this (or, he did) from a shop, and I have to say it was greeted with far more eagerness than anything else – and that includes home cooked chicken and fish, specifically prepared (as I am vegetarian) for the boy.
Pack promptly ordered. Yes, this stuff is expensive, but is clearly a pleasure deserved.
My rescue cat had/has stomach motility issues resulting in vomiting and had been prescribed the ZD tins by Battersea Dogs & Cats home. My home vet and I have been experimenting with various other premium pure meat foods and every now and again I give her a pouch of this and she loves it. I’m told the pumpkin is good for digestion so we stick to the chicken and pumpkin. Lovely to be able to vary her diet now and again and as long as a I keep it to small portions – a little and often – it stays down and the bowl is licked clean. A happy cat. NB: be aware that this is a complimentary cat food – NOT a complete food, it is not ideal to feed this every day, I give complete most days and use this as a treat.
