Not a lot to say about this fish flake apart from it’s the usual quality flake you expect from Aquarian. Have used this brand for years, in my opinion there’s none better and I’ve never had any fish refuse it. Save money by buying a larger tub, if you can afford it, the price is more than competitive with a retail outlet.
This extra large tub of tropical fish flakes lasts me about 6 months. Yes it’s expensive for flakes, however i prefer to buy the larger tub than the much smaller ones. My fish seem to enjoy it. I do crush up the flakes before i put them in my tank as they are fairly big, i would say too big for fish like neon tetras etc.
A bit more expensive then some other fish flake but good quality and my mixed community fish always devour every bit of it so now waste which means cleaner water so I always recommend Aquaria

But my tropical fish seem to love it.
I buy this particular one because ive tried quite a few over the years, and I have a 650 Litre tank with quite large tropical fish, the flakes in this brand are large, where i find other brands it tends to be a bit bitty and dusty.
so it gets hoovered up quick and leaves less falling to the gravel and creating toxins.
The fish food is full which is great value for money as many things you open and the packet or tin is half empty. Have purchased this a free times now.
Its the only fish food What don’t clog my filter up and the water stays clear and off Course it’s got all the right ingredients for my fish and it keeps them healthy
Fish love it. Costs 50% more than same brand goldfish food which has identical ingredients and looks the same. Fish seem to like both equally. My local aquarium reckons they are the same.
We have guppies, tetras, Santos, a red finned shark, cherry shrimp, bamboo shrimp and snails. They are all doing well on it (too well if you saw how many snails we have!)
We don’t have plastic plants, only natural wood and natural plants and are finding we do very little water changes as a result. Hope that helps?
There’s lots of it and it last a long time but only because my fish eat it all do I think they like it and the flavour is OK. Or it could be that’s all I give them to eat so they have no choice and it tastes terrible.
I’m no expert but I can tell you than as I repeatedly buy this product, my tank fish repeatedly eat it. They like greens too . but still seem fine on this whilst we are on lockdown. Really pleased with this fish food. Will continue to use as my basic.
I’ve tried more expensive food than this and I keep coming back to this brand. It’s super dry, flaky and my Mollies and Platys eat it up much quicker than other foods.
I always smirk when fish foods claim to keep water clearer, but in this case the food is eaten up so fast its probably true.
Plus this tub is huge.
I was not prepared for how big this tub of fish food would be. I think I am now stocked for the rest of time. I can’t comment on flavour as the fish have been very secretive about their opinions.
