I’ve head these before, bought my usual size and they’re a little snug. Measured them against my others and they are a cm smaller. Will still use but they’re not as comfy
Pretty good overall
They fit me perfectly and are pretty comfortable, will definitely help a bunch when it comes to wearing skirts and such
Only problem was the sticky parts were stick together when I opened the packet
If you aren’t careful, the sticky part will tear, so be sure to peel them apart slowly and carefully
Was a bit unsure since there are so many mixed reviews but honestly I actually really like them! A bit over priced for all it is, but they do stop the chub rub!
I measured my thigh and was around 24/25 inches so ordered size L. They are very stretchy and I do recommend measuring and not just guessing it. If I’d gone for a larger size I don’t think they would have fitted as well.
The silicone bands don’t roll down, its quite a thick band so I think that helps grip your skin better. I’ve experienced chub rub in my thighs my entire life and shorts just aren’t it in hot weather.
The lace is stretchy and breathable for your skin, feels a bit odd when you first put them on but after a while you don’t really notice them. Been wearing them all day without any hassle so far!
These bands have completely changed the game, I can wear short dresses comfortably and confidently now!
Also I recommend putting them on inside out and then flipping them and putting them into place, makes it way easier.

A bit on the small side.
Also, why are your larger sizes SO MUCH more expensive and take longer to ship? Even if you say you use more “material” (which we all know can be offset by pricing for other products) I can’t explain to myself why it takes longer to ship the bigger sizes ..
Really comfy and do what it says on the tin!
I was very sceptical about these and thought they would be a complete waste of money. How wrong could I be – thought I’d ordered plain beige ( other reviewers said that the lace also chafed) so was quite surprised when red lace turned up and, have to admit, they felt quite loose when I put them on ( I am a size 18 so bought size D). I went for a walk and they didn’t move – there was no rubbing, no chafing and no rolling down. They are actually really comfortable and look great, according to my husband. Will definitely be buying another pair, this time in beige so they aren’t quite so noticeable if I cross my legs (that Sharon Stone moment )
Oddly noisy but fit really well!
These fit really well if you do as advised and measure the widest part of your thigh. I measured 24.5″ and ordered a B size (23-24″) and they are perfect.
The only downside to these is that they are weirdly noisy!! I know that’s an odd thing to say but when you walk, as they are man made material they make a loud shuffle noise!
This won’t hold me back (hopefully!) but thought I’d mention it!
A must have if you suffer with chaffing
These work really well. It’s such a relief to be able to wear skirts and dresses in the summer without having to wear shorts underneath! No more painful rubbing or having to walk like john wayne. Sometimes they roll up a little but still one of the best things I’ve ever bought.
No more chub rub!
Great for under dresses in the summer. The first time I wore them I was conscious they were slipping down as I was walking around a lot but when I checked they were in place – rubbery bands help them stay put. Would buy again but only need one pair for now!
I’m a curvy girl… yeah, we all know what that means. My thighs touch and chub rub is a common problem in all weathers. I always wear dresses – never trousers – and was getting bored of always having to wear shorts underneath, especially in hot weather. Not to mention tights are a horror when it’s hot. So I tried these on the off-chance that they worked.
THEY WORK. The first day I wore them, I had them on for 12 hours straight, arranging, setting up and attending a party. I was all over the place and they stayed put. Considering the voluptuousness of my thighs, I wasn’t expecting much. They’ve been PERFECT.
I measured my thighs carefully and followed the fitting guidelines. Honestly, these things are amazing. I now have them in several colours and don’t bother carrying a pair of shorts (just in case) because they are fantastic.

I love this product. I am a pear shaped girl who always struggled with chub rub! In the summer I used to wear tights everywhere, not anymore. They are wide enough to cover the ‘top and middle meeting points’. They do take a little getting used to and I always find it a good idea to get them completely symmetrical. I put them on in the mirror to make sure they are in the right areas. I have just come back from a party and danced all night and they are still up! I wash mine after each wear with a gentle hand soap as they seem delicate. My boyfriend thinks they are very pretty too! (Even though I refer to these as my thigh bands lol.)

I’ve never been able to wear skirts or dresses without horrible chafing. I normally wear long knickers but i’m pregnant and can’t wear them. I was apprehensive purchasing these because they had mixed reviews but they are great. Have worn them all day, they don’t fall down, they’re comfortable and no chafing! Amazing. And much cooler than the usual long knickers! Knocked one star off only because I found I needed to pull them down to use the loo and then reposition them which was a little bit annoying but no big deal really. Totally worth it!
The very first time I wore them I ended up with really horrific chafing all around my thigh from the lace at the edge, which kind of defeated the purpose. I ended up having to wear leggings in 35+ degree heat for the next 3 days of my holiday. I was really disappointed but considering how much I had to pay for these with shipping and everything (plus the fact I was melting in the heat) I decided to give them a second chance. I used a much more moisturising body lotion before wearing them which seemed to fix this problem. However, even now, I do find they start to slip down my thighs and I have to try to discreetly hoosh them up. They fit very closely to my thigh so I don’t think the fit is the issue. Wearing them is preferable to the pain of chafing but it gets annoying if I have to constantly fidget with them all day.
While the lace is definitely prettier than the plain bands, I think if I was to repurchase I would get the plain band. I think there would be less chance of chafing and it won’t show through more fitted clothes as much.
Overall, I’m glad I bought these but they are far from perfect.
These things saved my summer.
I was really worried about the insane heatwave this summer, but buying these was the best investment I have ever made in an item of clothing. I recommended them to all of my friends to save us all from cycling-shorts hell.
I found they fit as expected, but I made sure to measure my thighs to get the right size – other people I know overestimated the fit and ordered too large. I wore them basically every day for 4 months this summer, hand washing them in the evenings. By the end of August the silicon had started to degrade and the lace had started to fray on the outside, but this was probably due to excessive use. I don’t mind though and will definitely be investing in a new pair in the spring. If you suffer from chub-rub you need these.
ook me a very long time to work out what size i needed .. and was getting quite stressed about it.. having read all the reviews, some said go a size smaller, and some people said it’s exact size.. AHHHHHHHH.. so after a lot of deliberation…. i did go for a size smaller, i measured 63 cm, which is a C, and i ordered a B.. glad i did so as these fit perfectly.
there are cheaper ones on the market for about 5 quid.. but they didn’t seem to have great reviews, and also, delivery was too long as i needed them to come quickly..
i have been wearing them today under a linen dress. even though the top of it does flip (roll) down slightly, they still stay up, it doesn’t bother me..and my legs do not rub together at all !!!!!. i’m so happy, because i have avoided wearing dresses just for that reason. very happy i bought these, even with the price being quite high, definitely worth it…
Bought a few different makes of these thigh bands as all of them have mixed reviews. I have sent them all back apart from this pair. This pair stayed up, didn’t roll or anything. They have 2 silicone bands, one at the top and one at the bottom. Most others I tried only had one at the top and unsurprisingly they all rolled up. This pair stay put. Also, the texture of the lace on these is thinner – this is a good thing! On the other pairs I tried the lace is much thicker and more textured in places and it’s really noisy when you walk as a result because the lumpy lace pattern rubs against the other band. Because these are thinner, they don’t make that noise and still do the job of avoiding chub rub brilliantly. For the first time since I was little I’ve been wearing dresses and skirts on holiday (in nearly 40 degree Celsius heat) with no issues! I’m just about to order a second pair of thes as they are superb.
All in all, don’t bother with other brands, you get what you pay for. Just get these. Make sure. You measure your thighs accurately and get the right size and you won’t be disappointed!
Game change
Game changer!!! I decided to order on here first rather than a big order off their website. I’ve tried the lacane anti chafing gel and when it gets really hot it just melts off, I get grouchy and sore and become an absolute delight to be around i could probabky go a size smaller as I ordered a C because I was right in the middle on their measurents for that one. It takes a little adjusting to find the best place to sit and if you’re wearing a shorter dress you can see the edges at the back but these are neutral so it doesn’t bother me.
Wearing them at the moment. No slip and no pain and it’s 27 degrees out. Would really really recommend as I just put them on and don’t have to think about it. I have to admit it was a bit odd to try and pee because it felt like I was wearing tights at the top of my legs but that’ll just become a habit once I’m used to wearing them.

Does what it needs to but a little loose
Despite measuring accurately, the bandelettes I ordered in black were too large. They fit ok at the top, but the bottom is rather loose. However, they are comfortable to wear, didn’t roll up or down and still stayed in place and did the job they needed to do. I probably wouldn’t trust them if I was going out for the whole day, but they’ve been ok for short trips. I also purchased the smaller size in another colour and they fit much better.
Actually work!
Actually work! Had a wedding and wanted to wear a nice dress but hate chubrub. Wasn’t sure these would actually work as hold up stockings just roll down. Wedding was on hottest day of the year so far and stayed in place – even with some dancing on dance floor
Yet to wash and re-wear; just really hope that doesn’t ruin them
Very impressed
Wow. I had sort of decided these weren’t going to work before I got them, but for me, they actually do! I’ve worn then twice now and am generally impressed. Downsides: during some particularly vigorous dancing, one of them did start to fall down and I had to hike it up mid dance to avoid an embarrassment. The second time I wore them, I ended up with a slight irritation/rash on one leg, I’m not sure if from the rubber, or from that bit of my thighs chafing. However, that said, the fact that I was able to wear a skirt on both these occasions without being in real discomfort was a big plus, as I haven’t been able to do this for years without tights or shorts underneath. Not PERFECT, but by far the best solution I have found. As advised by other reviewers and the product website itself, I did measure before I ordered. I have now ordered a second pair.
Work brilliantly despite my low expectations!
Life saver. Hold up stockings have never worked fir me so I did not expect these to be much good. The heat wave meant I needed to get out of trousers / jeans and into cool dresses. Impossible and uncomfortable with chunky thighs.
They are like hold up stocking tops. They don’t feel tight so I thought they would fall down or roll over at best. Neither disaster had befallen and I am so glad I took the plunge. They wash and dry fast, one pair on, one pair washed and drying and they have made this summer so much more comfortable.
Do the measurements as directed. Do not get caught up in getting a size smaller. They stay put if you get the right size. (Even if the right size used to be your waist size. ) great. My Best Buy this summer.
Why can I only pick 5 stars? It doesn’t adequately reflect how life changing this purchase has been, and yes I said it, life changing! I have tried pretty much every ‘chub-rub’ solution over the years (I even dropped 2.5 stone and that didn’t help). Summer dresses sadly made less breazy and cool because you are either walking like John Wayne or wearing cycling shorts under them. Urgh. But I am now the proud and very vocal owner of 3 pairs of these bandelettes, in nude, white and black. Do not be put off by the price. Literally game changing! If you measure as instructed and order the correct size these little strips of lace will open up a whole new summer wardrobe for you. They do not move (I’ve tested them in various conditions including walking 5miles, climbing stairs, dancing the night away), they do not ride up, and they don’t leave an imprint of where they’ve been should you choose to remove them immediately before going swimming for example (no ring of shame!). If you aren’t one of the chosen few to enjoy a thigh-gap then get these in your shopping basket. You won’t be disappointed.
No more discomfort!
These are perfect! I’d always avoid wearing dresses/have to deal with the discomfort of rubbing, but no more! I’ve ordered several pairs. They stay up all day and are comfortable to wear. I did try wearing one at a time but the uncovered thigh got sore so it’s definitely better to wear the pair. There are only 2 downsides: 1.if your dress is slightly sheer you’ll be able to see them 2. They can be seen under a shorter dress
I held myself back from buying these after seeing them advertised online for quite a long time. As someone who suffers from the dreaded “chub rub” no matter if I’m a size 12 or 16 (and everywhere in between!) I felt like this was the only option I hadn’t tried. I was fed up of wearing shorts under my skirts and dresses, wearing leggings or trousers all the time or carrying body glide or talc in my bag which only worked for so long and so I decided to take the plunge and get these.
Honestly, the main things that put me off buying for so long were the price, a concern that the lace would rub and/or the bandelettes would just fall down or bunch up. Those worries were completely removed within hours of trying them!
I’ve worn these around 5 times now, on one of those days I was walking for around an hour in about 25 degree sunshine. Normally in those situations, I would start to chafe after about 10 minutes walking. I’ve had absolutely no rubbing at all using these. They fit perfectly, they don’t pinch in nor do they fall down and no one would know I was wearing them! Due to the lace design, they also look nice, unlike the cycling shorts I used to wear under my dresses! I feel attractive in these, whereas other options just made me feel frumpy!
I’ve been so impressed with them that I’ve bought a second pair in the nude as well for under paler dresses. I’ve also recommended them to a lot of friends! As I’m sure you can therefore guess – I now think they are well worth the money and I only wish I had bought these sooner!
The only other point to note is how great the seller was on this. I wanted these at quite short notice, ordering on a Friday lunchtime and needing them for an event on Sunday. I had missed the deadline for getting these on the Saturday on prime but saw that on the Mish website, you can call and get next day delivery. Upon speaking to the girls there, they advised me to order on here ASAP and that they would look out for it and make sure my parcel was included in the Amazon delivery order for Saturday. They couldn’t have been more helpful and my parcel arrived on the Saturday lunchtime. It’s not often that you find sellers who are willing to put themselves out for you so I couldn’t leave that out of this review!
The fabric is very nice and smooth
Sizing is a bit tricky. I went for a size smaller and it’s a bit loose on the bottom edge and bit tight on the top, the tight parts do want to roll up a bit. The fabric is very nice and smooth, but the seam is big and very noticeable, could be done much better. Overall pretty happy with the product, but price could be better for what it is.
Good for short periods of time
As a young woman who has been burdened with chafing my entire life, I was excited to learn about this product and thought it was the ‘sexiest’ anti-chafe product out there.
They work fairly well but the rubber lining that keeps them from slipping down often folded over under my butt which meant they didn’t stay 100% securely in place. However, I wore a dress in summer for the first time without having to wear shorts underneath and it worked! I was only out for about 30 mins so i haven’t tested them out all day yet. I’ll be taking them on holiday with me to wear under dresses and skirts. Hopefully they hold up!

I really like these, just wish they were a little wider. Work exactly as described, and as other people say make sure you measure first. When I put them on they weren’t tight so I was worried they wouldn’t work. They stand up extremely well to be worn all day and stay put. My only downside is they don’t work particularly well under a tight pencil skirt mainly because I do still get very slight line showing and you have to rearrange them everytime you go to the bathroom and I still got a little bit of rubbing. However under anything else they’ve been brilliant and I’d highly recommend them. They do take a little bit of getting used to though.
These are literally the end of one of my life’s ongoing problems. It may sound dramatic but I can finally live free wearing a skirt whenever I want, not having to wear shorts/tights/leggings underneath. Absolute life changer and can’t believe I have only just found them! They are so comfy and look sexy too!
Sizing – they fit as expected. I currently measure around 24 to 24.5 inches on my thighs but I am losing a bit more weight so I got the size B (23 to 24 inch) and they fit perfectly, not too tight, and actually relatively loose to be honest compared to what I thought, a nice comfortable fit which is really nice. They stay up because they have a lining at the top and bottom that sticks to your skin (it isn’t sticky though).
If you are someone who suffers from this problem having sore legs due to chafing whenever you wear a skirt or dress, then this product is absolutely for you, it will change your life!! So happy!
My thighs are 28 inches at their biggest so I got size B. They fit perfectly. Not tight and not loose at all. The adhesive didn’t make my legs sore or anything. I bought them so I could wear them under my shorts at a festival so I could have fun and not suffer all weekend from chafing. I’ve worn them once under a long skirt so far and I completely forgot I was wearing them until I went to the toilet and saw them!
One pair is enough at the moment, I don’t know think I’ll buy another pair because they are expensive for what they are and you can always wash them.
Overall I really like them! They’ve saved my skin (literally) and I’m glad I bought them.
The Solution to chub rub
Absolutely in love with these. I have previously owned Bandelettes from when the company was new. Those ones only came in lace and were a little shorter (about 4.5″ deep) and although I used them, they weren’t perfect. These ones are another level. They are long enough now to completely cover the affected area (I rub from the groin all the way down to almost the mid thigh) and the 6″ covers all. The fabric is so soft and swishy between my legs, unlike the lace which had more friction. Saying that they still don’t budge at all (the old ones never budged, which is why I liked them even though they weren’t perfect). I can wear these with confidence that they absolutely will not budge.
They are quick to clean. I pop them in the sink with some warm water and gently rub them and then just leave them to soak. They dry quickly so I can use one pair day after day.
This, for me, is The Solution to chub rub. The answer to my summer!
No rolling, really stayed in place until first wash when silicone peeled off. Washed per instructions. Not worth money paid
These are the more ‘athletic’ material and so much more comfortable than the lace. Nice smooth feel and to my surprise really thin and they feel quite silky. I bought a size down as advised by other reviewers and they are a perfect fit. Once in place they stay put and do exactly what they are supposed to do. Will definitely buy another pair. Now I can wear skimpy summer dresses without having to worry about the pain of chub rub. Yeah……
I really loved these! They stay up all night and you feel much better in then than ‘fat pants’ to stop thighs rubbing. However, on the 4th time wearing them after having no issues they REALLY rubbed. As in, they rubbed worse than the usual thigh rub (size 16, sore red thighs after 30 minutes if I don’t intervene) and I had to take them off and just deal with the chub rub. I haven’t worn them since in case they rub like that agai
