Tips:

Preheat the pizza stone for a minimum of 15 minutes

Turning the pizza: You need to take the pizza out of the oven to turn it every 5 seconds or so or it will burn.

Never pull out the pizza stone when it is hot, this will cause it to crack with the quick temp changes. Allow it to cool completely before pulling it out to clean.

Bought as gift for father in law as he requested one. He doesn’t like having too much money spent on him so this was good value without breaking the bank. He uses it loads in the summer and enjoys making pizzas for the grandkids in particular! He’s been happy with the heat it puts out, ease of use and the pizzas he’s made.

I bought this pizza oven, which was half the price of other brands, fully expecting to need a few goes to get used to it. But no, it started easily, very little smoke, ready in 18 minutes, and pizzas cooked in under 2 minutes. Very happy with i

    Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this pizza oven after my friend recommended his Ooni. I figured with the reviews looking the same but costing half the price, it had to be worth a shot. Pizzas cook very quickly. I’ve been experimenting with a number of processes. Here’s my advice;

    1. You need a gas burner to ignite the pellets. I tried using eco firelighters and it’s just not worth it
    2. A you don’t necessarily need a laser thermometer. After 20 mins of heat with the oven door closed, it will be hot enough.
    3. Leave the initial burn to take hold for at least 5 mins before you load the hopper or you will smother the flames.
    4. Keep the hopper full of pellets throughout the cooking session. Don’t let it run down, just keep tipping up after each pizza comes out the oven
    5. Double strength flower works better than oil or semolina on the paddle.
    6. Make sure your pizza base moves freely on the paddle before you load the toppings. Nothing more frustrating than a pizza that won’t go in the oven!
    7. Be quick to load your pizza and minimise time with the oven door open.
    8. Personally, I find that you don’t need to turn your pizza. It cooks pretty even and if you open the door, the temp will drop meaning the base will burn and the toppings won’t cook.
    9. Use a high quality pizza topping sauce. Premium tomatoes give an authentic taste and I always finish with a dusting of Parmesan cheese before putting in the oven!

    Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Just as good as more expensive models!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usershis took me a little while to understand how to get the heat to the front as it was venting out the back at first, bascially u need to light the wood chips so the futhest in, as to allow the flames to come forward and not stay at the back, as soon as i did this the stone started to heat, so this was just a rookie mistake. the pizza oven was best used with a infrared thermomter that u can get on amazon as this told me when the stone was hot at 300c and thats when they cook faster and better. i cant fault this for the price, pizzas and garlic bread were good and i just need to learn to do this better. make sure you put some flour underneath the paddle thing othtewise they will stick. i kept the door closed and tried 1.5 min before turning, which was ok on smaller breads. dont push the bread too far back as may char too much.. bascially you need to try differnt approaches and make sure you keep the wood pellets topped up. this one has a chute on it for refilling wood so this means it can sustain a burn for longer times… nice

Amazing product, takes a few attempts to get the hang of it, make sure you get the temperature right up. Do NOT oil the peel like it says in the instructions, use flour.
You will get black flakes inside the top of the oven, that’s normal.

My son had another top brand Pizza Oven for his birthday, I enjoyed them pizzas from it so much I wanted to get one as well.
This was half the price, and I can honestly say it’s extremely well made, and works just as well, no need to spend anymore!
It all collapses down with foldable legs and removable chimney, pizzas cook in about 60 to 90 seconds. Great fun for family and friends to get involved throwing their own pizza bases, choosing toppings and cooking their own. Much more of a party than a BBQ!
Wood pellets required, and get some natural firelighters, they get the wood pellets blazing away in minutes.
100% one of the best outdoor gizmos I’ve bought in many years, and I’d say from the construction, it will last years as well.

Bought this for my bf birthday. Worked well first time.. watched a few YouTube videos before we got to work which helped with some important tips and tricks. You need to keep the heat up by feeding with a scoop of pellets after every pizza.
We made x 3 pizzas and all were pretty successful. Kept the dough thin so it was nice crispy. All in all really good for the money. Pizza tasted amazing .

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good. Takes a little practice

After reading reviews I decided to give this a go and make the purchase!
Once you have the dough right, the toppings in place and the pizza oven at 400 degree’s your pizza will take approx 2 minutes.
These are the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten.
Buy yourself a digital thermometer as this will help measure the temperature.
Don’t waste your money on expensive pizza ovens, just get this one

5.0 out of 5 stars Just WOW!

Do not waste money buying the big well known brand. This bad lad is the same, is not better but without the price tag

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersBasically as the subject says — pizzas from this pizza oven are as good as pizzas from the famous brands you see advertised on Facebook a lot and can buy from your favourite garden centre costing twice as much, because let’s face it how much proprietary functional design can you even fit into a steel box with a fuel hopper, stone base, and chimney anyway?

I’ve marked it five stars across the board anyway, but things which could improve it further would be a built-in thermometer so you know exactly what the temperature inside is, and a proper recipe leaflet for making your own pizzas from pre-made dough, dough mix, and literally from scratch, together with guidelines as to what the ideal temperatures you need the oven to be at for the various circumstances. Yeah, you can look for recipes yourself but having it handed to you on a peel is better, don’t you think?

Big word of warning — when the oven is properly hot, the pizza cooks in seconds, not minutes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just as good as one twice the money

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersAfter a few indecisive moments we decided to order this over the branded, more expensive model. So glad we made that saving! So easy to light and perfect pizzas right from the off. Takes about 15 minutes to reach temperature and they you’re good to go. Put pizza in, leave for 15-20 seconds, pull out, turn and repeat. Depending on how crispy you like your dough you may want to repeat again. We used pre-made pizza bases but do plan to make our own now we know how easy the pizza oven is to use. Definitely recommend this one, purchased a foldable pizza peel, 15kg of wooden pellets and some eco firefighters too and we were on our way! Easy to fold away and store too

Good price. Works well. Easy too light. Gets hot quick. Found it tricky to get it right at first. Temperature and thickness of pizza base and cooking times. Would definitely practice without guests.
I found that when wind blew then the flames increasesed alot as I opened door. Just saying to keep children well out of the way

So easy to assemble (some parts hidden inside main drum) and really simple to use. Purchased a pizza peel and some pellets to use. Took 10 mins to heat up and 1 minute to cook!! So happy with it and a fraction of the price of some ovens!

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersI was looking to buy an ooni after using a friends one but found this and I’m so glad I did 200 less but the build quality looks almost identical. The thing I did notice there is no visible insulation in between the internal and external wall but as long as it gives good heat it should be good as there is a dead air gap which should work. I will get this fired up on the weekend and update but so far so good!

Update: did a cook on it and I can confirm it works just as well as the ooni at a fraction of the price. Keeps the heat very well and hits well over 500c. If anyone is looking to get one don’t over look this due to the price!

5.0 out of 5 stars Punching above it’s weight!
