Does the job of connecting VGA cable and new socket to HD outlet TV For connecting to HD plug to use old TV on desktop when I can get a new TV as the old is slowly going spat on Tv reception So I know it does the job as I bought one to extend VGA cable years ago being as converters come as male plug outlet ! I think they want people to connect them direct to Video card on desktop but I can now extend from desktop to ample lead to HD setup Thank you Very good delivery
Very straighforward Easy device to extend a VGA cable for projector use, in this case converting a work projector to home cinema. It enabled me to connect a heavy VGA cable fitted in trunking to a much lighter one to connect tot he laptop, thereby preventing the laptop disappearing off the table whilst watching a movie.
No significant impact on picture quality. I’m not sure what the stars are for ‘thickness’ and ‘sheerness’ that Amazon want me to rate; perhaps they think I’ve bought some stockings instead.
Does the job. I use this item to extend a VGA cable so that I can connect to a KVM switch enabling me to swap from my home PC to a Raspberry Pi with little fuss.
To use – slowly insert the Male end into Female hole on the front, and then – get another Male end to insert into the rear of the Female. Once inserted, to finish off, use your fingers to screw the ends deep into the screw holes – Jobs a good ‘en!
Compact VGA M/M connector - used with HDMI-VGA adapter in my case. Compact little unit.
Don’t force on too hard to begin with – I had to “tweek” the position of the pins a bit with my fingernail to get it to fit, but 50 / 50 as to whether pins or holes (on connected unit) were the problem. If you get problems, just force a small amount only, so you can see which pin / hole is the problem. Once connected works fine.
Note, due to a space “limitation” on the (HDMI/VGA) unit I connected this to, had to remove the screws – they come out with a small amount of pressure while unscrewing – something to consider when deciding to purchase a very compact unit.
Would buy another if need arrises.

It does the job
Not sure why amazon thinks I should rate this for sheerness and thickness. Very puzzling.
I installed it and then completely forgot about it until asked for a review.
So it’s doing it’s job perfectly.
