Was very sceptical but happily surprised as this product works excatly as it should and is very well rpiced when you look at others on the market. Had to use it in an emergency use and started vehcile no problem, only took 1 attempt to start vehicle which had a completely flat battery, it is small and compact and fits away in boot easily, very happy buye
Decent emergency car starter for price
It took a few attempts but it actually started my car twice when the battery was flat. Great value for that, the unit charges very slowly but it’s a pretty good capacity and mostly just keep it in the car for emergencies.
Would give 5 if it charged faster and managed to jump start the car on the first couple attempts. But in an emergency it will eventually get your car moving again.
I used the FLYLINKTECH 4000A for the first time over the weekend, and wow, I’m glad I had it. Even though I have breakdown cover, I didn’t want to sit around waiting for the recovery service to show up, so I decided to give this jump starter a try—and it totally saved me a ton of time.

Excellent and compact car battery charger which does its job well.
I bought this October 2025 on a friend’s recommendation, charged it fully when it arrived and put it in my car with no personal experience of how well it works. Today, 4th April 2026, my brother’s car would not start so I pulled it out and it still showed 4 bars of charge, attached it to his car battery and got it fired up in no time, furthermore it still shows 4 bars!

I had a track day booked at Brands Hatch, 3 days before the track day my battery is flat, left the interior light on all weekend accidentally! Ordered this in the morning and it arrived the same day. I have wanted something like this for ages, however the price has always been a bit much. Then this came up for a very decent price.
I chucked it on the car, and bang, instantly started up. Very easy to use.
This has been put in my track day tool bag/car as a just in case. The amount of these being used (not specifically this model, but this type of thing) at Brands Hatch in the pits was crazy.
It asks for a review of the Carry case but it doesn’t actually have one. It’s just a drawstring bag that’s a little too small. But other than that that it’s great. Seems nice and powerful and seems to do the job!
I even used this to charge my phone on the USB port on my drive home as it charges quicker than the car. Torch that’s in it is very bright also.
For the money, even if you use this once, it’s a bargain! Our local recovery are charging 80 for a jump off a NOCO. This will do that job easily.
Fantastic little booste
Well I just can’t believe how good this device is! I got 10 boosts on 1 charge and then I simply recharged it to full in only 4 and a half hours. I was starting my car,a 2016 Hyundai elantra, in -37 degrees weather and it started no problem! Just remember when you first get it to charge it a full 7 hours before using it, very easy to use!
This is a great little piece of kit that is now a staple item in my car. Ordered one day and received the next.
I was looking forward to testing this but was waiting for an opportunity. Then I get a call from a friend whose car had been sat on their drive for a few months and they needed to move it. Unfortunately the battery was completely flat with no life in it at all.
I was happy to use this as a test on this charger and have to say it can through with flying colours. It was simple to attach the cables to the charger pack (no chance of getting these wrong) and clamped them snuggly and securely in to the drained battery.
Then turned the key and the car sprang into life! It was immediate and was like a new battery had been hooked up. I simply and safely removed the charger pack and popped it back in its box for next time.
Not only is it a neat little charger pack but also has a handy flashlight on it (very useful as this was in the evening) and has USB ports for charging phones, etc.
If you are looking for a compact, durable, and effective charger, you can’t go wrong with this.

Bought this due to having a flat battery, and thought it would be worth having for an emergency anyway when I didn’t have time to wait around for the breakdown service and not able to jump start from another vehicle. Arrived with around 75% battery, gave it a boost to full power. It did say charge the unit for 7 hours before first use, but I needed to get the car started to charge the battery before leaving it overnight.
First time, I don’t think I quite got enough of a good connection at the battery terminals, and the LED light stayed red indicating an issue. Car wouldn’t start. I removed the clips, unplugged the adaptor from the main charger unit and reconnected. Then connected the clips back on the battery terminals….. Car started! Wonderful.
It also has USB port to chart your devices, so it’s going to be a mainstay in my car for occasions where brekadwon might occur, I need to jump start the car and also to keep phones charged up in an emergency. Great stuff.
When this arrived at first I was surprised how compact it was and doubted if was going to be powerful enough to jumpstart my landrover battery. However when connected landrover jump started instantly.

I have been having problems with my car and have been worried to take it out in case it won’t start. I bought this as I reassurance and it’s perfect! I’ve not charged it yet and I’ve started my car 4 times! Still have75% battery life left.

I principally use FlyLinkTech battery booster with my car. I am a low mileage user and was let down when my car battery failed. The FlyLinkTech booster’s presence in the boot of my car is now re-assuring.
I didn’t know such gadgets existed. After not using my car for a while I found the battery dead. Garage was closed for the bank holiday weekend. Found this on Amazon. Charged it for an hour as it was 75% charged when delivered.
Connected it to car battery following the simple instructions included and the car started first time.
Not had any trouble since, but it’s in the boot just in case.
Just got to remember to top the charge up once every 3 months.
Worked first time
I used it to start my VW after it had sat idle for 4 weeks on the drive due to having an operation and being unable to drive. I tried to use a normal old school battery charger that I plugged in for around 5 hours to charge the battery, but the engine would not start at all. I ordered the Flylinktecfh jump start for next day delivery and as soon as I received it, connected it up and it started the engine instantly. Left the car running for 10 minutes and retried the engine without the Flylink connected and it was all working fine.

Surprised just how well this small powerpack worked!
I was very sceptical that such a compact unit could actually jump start a large vehicle, but I used it to start an old 4 Litre Jag with a completely dead battery and it fired up straight away. After starting the car the powerpack was still showing 75% charge, so clearly it had a lot more left in it to offer.
I would strongly recommend this product as an alternative to carrying jump leads.

Genuinely impressed by this. Can start my 1.9 TDI golf without any issues. I’ve started it 4-5 times now from flat after sticking it onto the battery and starting the car after 5 seconds. Still showing full battery too, so I’ll probably get 20+ starts out of it.

A lifesave
I live on my own with a car battery that had died over the christmas. The car was parked inwards in a garage. I found this and though I’ll give it a go after reading reviews. I charged it as soon as I got it (although there was plenty of charge in it). The car started straight away. Now in my car boot and noted in diary to charge again in 3 months. It really was is life saver to me!
Bought as an emergency booster and it has done its job!
I thought I’d leave a review until I had actually used the pack. Well, that chance came today with my wife’s Mini Cooper having a flat battery. The pack had not been charged for a couple of months and the temperature was only just above freezing so I didn’t hold out too much hope.
However, it started first time so well pleased.
My only complaint is that the leads are very short which limits the ease of use. Fortunately there was a bolt near the + terminal of the battery which I could use to ground.
Battery was flat as a pancake worked first time
Battery on my Mazda x5 was flat as a pancake, my own fault as I should start it up and let it run in the winter months. We’re talking no power to open the doors a friend said about a jump pack which lead me here.
Mine was on a lightning sale (something I’ve always felt was a con) turns out I was wrong. It arrived 3/4 charged and I charged it up over night.
Followed the instructions turned the key and the car roared into life. I used it twice on the same day as an elderly neighbours battery had got flat due to lack of everyday use. I worked on there 1.8ltr first time too and still is 3/4 full.

I only ever leave truthful reviews..good or bad… I’m a female and I often don’t leave the house for weeks on end during arthritis flareups..this means I have to ask a friend to come and boost my battery often. So after another month of it sat in the rain unused it went flat again. I charged the pack up fully as soon as it arrived and the next day I attached the Pos and neg to the terminals.. by the time I got in the car it started up on the first turn!… Absolutely fantastic!…I do have jump leads but I’d pulled in facing the garage doors and would also have to put a friend out yet again to come and help push the car the right way if I’d not bought this fab gadget! It’s about nearly brick length and half as wide and built very sturdy and not too heavy… I like that it’s easy to work ( as soon as it starts to flash turn car on)…it came with another 12 v adapter to run other 12 v items on and a mobile phone charge point ( I think it’s a c charger port) I know it’s perfect for my Google pixel phone regardless… Also has a flash light that also strobe flashes intermittently too… Since the first boost I’ve used it a 2nd time perfectly and swiftly… I have an 1800 Mazda mx5 car and apparently it will boost around 20/25 times on one charge….so perfect to carry in the car for just incase of emergency flat battery issues… and way cheaper than paying for home start AA/ RAC… I saw these on YouTube when they first came out and they were double the price they are now…..and I never expected it to work as effectively tbh
The one and only negative ( which isn’t an issue for my car though)… The pos and neg charge leads are very short…at a rough guess no longer than 6 inches…so if your car is the type that you have to use a charge point on the body work for the negative terminal…it may not reach… However it’s well worth the try as you can always send back I suppose if in returns period… Thankyou for helping me do this independently with ease

I’d left the lights on my Granddaughter’s 2 litre BMW Z3 on so accidently drained the battery but had no problem starting it with this. I’ve also used it to charge my phone.

My car’s battery was dying and this product came as a life saver when I was exploring best option for battery replacement. It was confusing to begin with how it actually works but once I got used to it it helped me, haven’t used it for more than 5 times but definitely loved this product.

Have only recently received the product and not used it yet but having given it a once over, tested the torch and plugged everything in to make sure it fits it all seems well made and sensible.
My only negative is that the rubber cover for the connections could be a bit sturdier as it feels like it could fall out easily but if you’re using it you’ll be removing that straight away anyway so not really a problem.

It also has a very useful flash and option to act as a power bank to charge your devices such as phone therefore I also use it as an emergency power supply.

I bought the Flylinktech 800A Car Jump Starter while on a trip that had to be extended due to unforeseen circumstances. We flew to Washington DC for a planned two week trip while leaving our Toyota Corolla in an extended parking garage at the airport. In the past, we had problems starting our Corolla after three weeks without starting it (it cranked, but barely). So when we had to extend our stay to a full month I was concerned there was a chance it might not start after such a long time sitting in the parking garage, even though it now had a new battery. So I ordered this jump starter on Amazon and had it delivered to the hotel with no problems. I picked this one for a number of reasons. The price seemed very reasonable compared to the others that came up in my Amazon search, but importantly (besides the reviews) because it also serves as a phone charger, and I figured it might be easier to pass through TSA at the airport compared to others that are sold on Amazon that are strictly “jump starters”. Just in case, and to play it safe so there wouldn’t be any problems with TSA I packed the box with the cable assembly that connects to the charger and the battery terminals in my suitcase. The battery pack itself I put in my hand carry backpack like you’re supposed (VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER: any and all battery packs, including this one, MUST be hand-carried…you absolutely cannot place these in your checked luggage for safety reasons). On our return to the parking lot after our trip, it turned out my Corolla started up just fine after sitting more than a month. However, the day after I trip when I tried starting my newer Toyota Camry Hybrid it wouldn’t start! So I plugged in this jump starter and the Camry immediately started right up. I had to jump start it again a couple of days later to get it to the Toyota dealer for servicing. After two jump starts the jump starter still shows a full charge remaining. Not sure if it’s because a hybrid requires less power to jump start it, but I’m very satisfied with the results. I think having a portable jump starter is a great idea because it brings peace of mind if you take it with you on trips you have a ready jump start capability with you if either you leave your car in a long term parking lot, or even if you’re on a road trip and your car won’t start in the hotel parking lot. I like being as prepared as possibly can, so I’ve always had a set of good (and long) jumper cables in each of our three cars. However, connecting them and standing around a parking lot begging someone for a jump start is not my idea of fun. Having a portable jump starter that also serves to charge your phone on a trip when you’re far from a charger makes this chore more convenient. I could have just as easily jump started my Camry from one of my two other cars using conventional cables, but it was so much easier with this portable jump starter: 1. Connect the short, easy to pack, cables to the battery terminals. 2. Plug the cables into the charger. 3. Press the On button on the charger (the battery pack light starts to flash). 4. Start the car. 5. Unplug the cable and turn off the battery pack. Oh, and this battery back also has a built-in flashlight! I highly recommend this, and will be taking with me from now one whenever I go on a trip. It’s money well-spent!
