So glad to be using one of these. I used to years ago when I lived somewhere else, but fell out of the habit when I moved. Now in my new place, it’s been a brilliant desk chair. Far cheaper than most office chairs and it comes with the added bonus of making me keep my core engaged while working, and also doubles as an aid for home workouts.
The only thing I’d say is to remember to take breaks. You are exercising your core muscles on this, so it helps to change position and stand or maybe sit on the sofa every now and again to give yourself a rest.
Anyone else experienced difficulties breathing? This exercise ball has been great to help with stretches, but since we’ve had it I developed problems breathing… like asthma or an allergy. We are currently trying to work through finding out what may have triggered this issue and looking at what has been ‘new’ in my life … this ball was one thing. Wondering if the faint fumes of the plasticy substance it is made of might be triggering an allergic reaction? Going to remove it from the house for a few days to see it if helps… and will update this review accordingly.
Sad to see it go though because it has been great to exercise and stretch with.
The ball is fine, the pump is fine. It was packaged fine. What is the measuring tape about? I’ve measured the tape that came with it and it doesn’t measure inches or centimetres. There is no way you could blow the ball up to suggested tape size.. you would injure yourself!
I’m in my eighties but found it easy to pump up as long as nimble enough to exchange pump for ‘stopper’. So far not needed to re pump up. It is sturdy. Does exactly as stated and good price
I bought this to help with coccyx pain, I sat on this at my desk and it was much more comfortable than a chair…. And I only fell off once! You need to top up the air once in a while, but otherwise it stays pumped up really well, and is really tough…. The cats claws didn’t puncture it!
The ball is a nice change from the office chair. It took a while to inflate to its full size and it also took a few days for my dog not to chase it anymore. But now all is hunky dory.
Like the ball I use it for my exercises what I have done with the physios at the hospital so I can do them every day don’t have the physios anymore it’s graet product simple to use and with the pump etc every thing was fine thanks
I ordered this for my friend. She wanted black one but in reality its not black more like grey metal. If I knew that I could get cheaper one. But anyway good produc
it’s difficult to inflate the ball to the desired size. The pump is not sealed. As you inflate the ball, the air comes out. Thus, I could not inflate the ball properly.
Instructions said to place tape measure round the ball to start. Impossible with a folded up piece of plastic!
Accompanying pump was useless, after nearly an hour of pumping the ball up, I had to ask a neighbour with a foot pump to do it for me.
Apart from those issues, I am pleased with my purchase
I found it diffuclt to pump up with the pump provided, the last 20 % was done with another pump i had.
It arrived okay and is a bit bigger than I thought, so far so good.
