Honestly a steal
For this price, I genuinely think this is such a good deal for what you get. The camera quality is really good and you can tell it isn’t cheaply made. As the other reviews say, it is indeed easy to install, even for those who have never done this before.
I do wish that the dash cam itself was not as big as it does take up a bit of the space on the windshield, and though it isn’t exactly a distraction to driving, I would much prefer something small and out of the way
Great quality dash cam
This dash cam produces nice clear footage, better from the front camera than the rear but the rear one is still useful quality. It was pretty easy to set up, especially if you have used a dash cam before, and I thought it was excellent that the SD card was included too, as we had to buy one separately for our old dash cam.
Overall, this is a really good camera and brilliant for a bit of peace of mind – my husband had a near miss recently and it was great to be able to look back at the footage.
A good price too. Recommended.
Fantastic
So easy to install i had no problems what so ever. The picture quality is great at day and night. Great value for money. Playback is perfect you can hear everything so if you have any issues with an irate driver this will pick it all up
The video quality is brillia
The video quality is brilliant and very easy to set up. It records everything needed. An impressive amount of cabling for the front and rear cameras. It comes with an SD card which saves my footage without any issues. It’s got all the essential features like G-sensor, parking monitor, and loop recording. I would definitely recommend
This is a simple dual dash cam that is easy to use and comes with a memory card included in the box.
The front camera sits neatly behind your rear view mirror so you wont be distracted by it on the road.
The rear camera is very small but has to be physically connected to the camera with a wire that is included in the package.
I was happy to find that this was easier to install than I expected, I lifted the trim on the headlining inside the passenger door and was able to feed the cable through to the back of the car with no real problem.
I fitted the rear camera inside the car at he top of the back window easily with enough spare cable so the hatchback can be opened without pulling the cable too tight.
The front camera simply needed to be plugged into the cigarette lighter to work.
The image from the front camera is good and clear, when viewed on a computer it is possible to read number plates, the rear camera is not the same quality but is frankly good enough because if someone rear ends you, you will normally not need to review the footage to get the plate number!
The footage can be watched on your phone and shared via social media easily if you feel the need.
It might just be me, but I found this much easier to set up and use than previous dashcams and the whole connecting to my computer a lot simpler!
This set is good value for money considering everything you need is included!
The camera has a sensor so if it detects a bump it will protect the footage from being overwritten so you can retrieve it later if needed, I believe this same feature will wake the camera and make a short recording if your car is bumped in a car park!
This camera is fitted in my daughters car for our peace of mind so that if she has a bump we can make sure she doesn’t get the blame if she doesn’t deserve it!
Happy to help!
Once set up this works well
I struggled a bit getting this set up and working. It is not the most intuitive of devices. Once up and running however it was fine. It works well, camera quality is good, playback is good, and it is good value. If buying this for a gift maybe consider offering to install it for the recipient.
Good quality dash camera
The Biuone dash cam is a front and rear camera kit with high quality 2.5K footage and 1080P rear footage quality.
The camera has an array of features including night vision, loop recording and g-sensor emergency recording. It’s also WiFi compatible and footage can be accessed, saved and shared from the smart phone app.
Device does require a skilled installation and I don’t recommend it for the every day user, it can also be wired to the battery using a battery kit online. Overall a good product and think the price is fair and reasonable.
Great value
I’m The best thing about this dashcam set is the value! A front & rear camera as well as an SD included means you have the whole package! It does require some wiring work, especially if you want the cables hidden or if you’re not fussed it’s pretty simple installation.
Suction on the dash cam feels strong, just make sure you clean your windscreen first to get a perfect adhesion.
Dashcam itself feels pretty cheaply made but function wise it’s good. Easy to use, settings are clear & the screen is perfectly okay!
Trusted driving partne
Through countless morning commutes and midnight drives, I’ve come to value the importance of reliable visibility. Driving through varying terrains and urban landscapes, the uncertainties are plentiful. This dash cam provided a serene sense of security with its unerring vigilance. The front and rear views were captured with an outstanding clarity that made even the darkest lanes evident. Connecting the device to my mobile was simple, a major convenience for someone who’s not tech-savvy. The uninterrupted loop recording was a beneficial feature; every critical incident was safely stored without the risk of being overwritten. A surprise feature was the night vision. On those late-night drives, when streetlights were sparse, this function proved its weight in gold, capturing details I’d have otherwise missed.
Very Impressed
I have thought about getting a dash cam for some time but put off thinking that the technology might be too much for my understanding. Well I needn’t have worried, this was so easy to set up and I was ready to go in no time at all. This is ideal for my needs, I wanted a good quality recording on the road for safety and security reasons.
The app is easy to set up for both iOS and Android devices and then you can easily access and manage your videos as you desire. Very quickly I was viewing, downloading and transferring data with very little effort. The cam has a 64GB SD card capacity which can be added to by using a 256GB memory card meaning you never have to think about running out of space to store data.
Even at night the vision is very impressive and provides a clear view of the road. The front dash cam’s 2.5K resolution and 170 wide-angle lens supply an excellent view of the road and the added rear dash cam with a 1080P resolution and 140 angle ensures that you’re capturing the entire picture.
This dash cam is just what I was looking for and so easy to use.
Excellent value for money
Worth spending a while getting this set up correctly – I installed this in a 2016 Seat Leon estate and after a bit of a faff with the cable placment I finally got the camera sited where I needed and am powering it from a usb put in the glove box. I’ve fitted the rear camera – but not permently yet as still trying to get the cabl managment right as we often have the rear seats down and want to make sure where I route the leads works for all situations.
Image quality is better than I expected for the prcie – easy to make out reg plates on the footage.
Overall very happy with it – great value and comes with everything needed to get started.
Excellent quality
I can’t comment how easy or otherwise this was to fit as I left it to the expert ie my husband. It was all done and set up in around an hour. I’m using the cigarette lighter socket for it, so I do need to remember to plug it in and unplug it at the end of each journey. After a little while it because automatic to do this. I haven’t set up the rear camera yet. This is because I have a convertible car and can’t use the rear screen. It’s going to need to be attached around the bumper somewhere and drilling is required. Once it’s been decided where is best to go, will get soon get it sorted. The picture on the screen is very clear and it’s unobtrusive where it sits, just tucked behind my rear view mirror. Just wish I’d had it a couple of days before when a van next to me ran a red light at speed and the person crossing was lucky not to be killed made me realise just how much we need dash cams!
I have wanted a dash Catford some time and getting the opportunity to review for Vine was a good chance to try one. First off this is an extremely inexpensive product, for c. 40 it is very good value, I haven’t setup the rear camera as yet but have the option is very good, the front camera was very easy to set up, the quality of the images is excellent, it does need a larger as card, but it great that one is included, it’s a budget product but a very good one.
Front and back camera
This Dashcam gives the option to record at 2k from the front camera and HD with the back camera.
The front camera is very simple to install and will just take a few minutes however the back camera it requires wiring to pass through the carpet and camera installation at the back of the car. I haven’t done that at the moment as just using the front camera.
The camera video quality is good. Once installed it switched on automatically as soon I start the car, so I don’t need to do things once it’s installed. It also has a builtin battery.
Transferring the video can be done wirelessly or for old school just connect the memory card with your laptop or PC.
Overall a good quality product which does what it says.
Dinky little rear view camera, but it gets the job done
I’ve been using front dashcams for about 5 years and have always intended to put a rear camera in as well, but have been put off by the thought of fitting the cable under the trim. Well, I’ve finally got around to doing it, having installed this Biuone dashcam. Still not my idea of fun, but got it done.
The front camera feels a bit basic to the touch, the rear camera feels almost like a toy. However, they do the job. I did have to improvise a little with the rear camera to make it safe and secure with a dog roaming around in the back of the car. There’s still cable in the front of the car, but some cable clips with 3M sticky backs keep that fairly tidy. I don’t find the picture quality quite as good as my previous (front-only) camera, which itself was often not good enough to capture registration plates (the angle of the windscreen does not help). Thankfully, if I’m interested in the video of what’s behind me, it’s almost always because somebody is tailgating me, and the picture quality is good enough to record what is that close right behind me.
The thing I was surprised not to find as part of this kit is a decal for the rear of the car to inform people behind that front & rear recording is going on. I suspect all but the thickest of tailgaters would back off a bit if they knew they were being recorded, but perhaps I’m over-estimating the average tailgater.
Anyway, good value at the current price. Still a pain to fit, but if you’re willing to do that (or improvise a bit with cables) then it’s not bad.
Very good Quality 2.5k Dash Cam
Very easy set up and ultra sharp images, comes with a 64gb TF SD card to get you stated and set up is very easy. Mine was just plug and play. Love how its powered by USB-C so easy to replace if you damage the cord and night and day images are very clear. Great price for the Quality.
OK, decent camera
Dash Cam
Pretty standard but compact dash cam setup for front and rear.
Things to consider
– you do need to run a wire from the rear camera to the front, tools and stickers included for this
– the supplied 64GB SD card needs to be formatted before use, the camera will take up-to 256gb
– the rear camera is on all the time when the dash cam is activated, and doesn’t have a reversing mod, so not a good option instead of a reversing camera
– front camera can be removed easily enough, so you ca hide or take inside to download footage using the supplied USB
– requires cigarette lighter to power, generally quite a few wires
Stops false claims on my ca
For a while, I had been thinking of getting a dash cam due to the rise in people trying to pull a fast one and intentionally trying to make false claims when they have bumped into cars on purpose. This dash cam does a great job at recording everything that’s happening and requires minimal setup and a no nonsense installation. The cam seems decent quality and so far it’s been running every time i drive, Giving me peace of mind that i would never be conned that way. So far, So good.
Good pictures, features and easy to set up.
Having a dash camera has always been a good idea but with traffic as bad as it is now surely its a must have.
The front camera is very easy to fit being basically a sticky sucker on the front windscreen.
The front camera is 2.5k resolution and is a very sharp picture.
The rear camera is a little harder to fit being mounted in the rear windscreen area either being screwed down to the parcel shelf or the plastic trim round the window.
Once fitted its a small job to hide the cable within the plastic trim in the cars foot wells.
The rear camera is a 1080p picture but still very clear.
Setup is easy and it has all the functions you would expect, like G sensors to register impacts and mark the moments before an accident.
Overall, in my opinion, this is a well made good quality product which is easy to setup. Its well priced and easy to recommend.
I hope you find my review helpful.
