We’re currently in a time with tablets like these can cost in excess of 700. For me personally that’s always been a definitive “not interested” due to that as I don’t feel they offer enough for the price point. This Tablet is a little different, not only does it offer the majority of the features of those 700 ones, it’s also currently on sale for less than 160.

The screen quality is nice and clear, with decent brightness variation. The sound quality is acceptable for general video watching though not the best for music etc. The touch screen is nice and responsive. The tablet itself runs really well, no excessively slow loading or lagging during use. The only real down side is the battery life is not too good with it.

It’s nice that it comes with a case and all the accessories needed with the ability to expand the storage by a significant amount. Overall really impressed at the value for the price point. Would recommend 4/5

excellent quality tablet! it comes in a fantastic box well presented if you would want to give it as a present. it comes with it own cover case. it’s got a screen protector that you are meant to remove but I kept it on to protect the screen even though it’s already scratched a bit but at least the screen is safe. it works at good speed. the camera is not amazing but it’s not why you buy a tablet for. the pen is not great. I don’t understand the tip of it.. it’s flat, I mean why! I bought some different sort of pens and they work fine. it’s a great size and you can download everything you need. I really like i

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThink carefully about what you want to do with this tablet. If high-quality video calls are your thing, you may want an external camera. If you are an obsessive gamer, you may need a faster processor for graphics. But this may be a very good choice if you are looking for a tablet that performs 90% of tasks to a high standard rather than for a specialist device. I also tested it using AAC apps for communication with people who can’t speak. The screen was responsive to touch or with a switch interface. The colours of symbols were sharp and clear. and the volume was sufficient and easy to pair with Bluetooth speakers.> At 200 or so, this is a very good option for a communication device with open-source or commercial apps for AAC. – it is unusual to get this size, at this quality at this low a price.

Have been using this tablet now for a few weeks, and been great so far. The tablet comes with it’s case, which is great.the performance is good, the battery life is good, and also if you put it on save battery it’ll last longer, also the charging is quite fast, especially if you put it on airplane mode. This tablet with high apacity comes as as low price in my opinion, which is much much cheaper than iPads, and this is whole it’s performance it’s good enough if not great! It’s easy to download apps from Google play store and also great for watching movies … . We’ve been using it for emails, movies, apps like Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp … Word document… And basically been able to whatever we want with no issues. The only thing I can pint at is about it’s light, we didn’t like it when it was auto, so changed it manual and put it on higher, and stays there with no changes. So all in all, I can say in my opinion, this tablet is great, it does everything you need.

Sadly, there aren’t a great deal of good Android tablet options these days. At least not at this price point. Given its price, RAM, storage and how responsive I found it in general use, I’d say it’s more of a mid-range device than budget. It’s not perfect, but overall I really liked it a lot.

My main reasons for appreciating the T20 are its battery life, responsiveness and build quality. It doesn’t feel cheap and plasticky at all, which I really like. It’s obviously not a perfect device. For instance, it lacks native 3.5mm headphone support and it runs Android 12, which is a little dated. Personally, I don’t feel the headphones issue is huge these days as you can get excellent Bluetooth headphones. I don’t personally like to use headphones with tablets anyway. Other small drawbacks include the cameras, but cameras on tablets usually suck. It really only needs to be good enough for video chat and scanning QR codes.

Overall, I do like this device a lot and think it’s good value. It perhaps wouldn’t handle the absolute latest and most demanding games well, but for general things – film consumption, social media etc – it’s very good and feels comfortable in my hands.

I am amazed by the colour of it. It is made from strong and durable material. It is very nice and beautiful I am soo happy about it because it is very easy to use. You can always use it when you need to. I bought a keyboard for it and it is very easy to connect to the ipad. I am amazed by it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersCurrently priced at 269, but with a 100 voucher if you tick the box, it’s a very good deal.
No, it’s not the most cutting edge tablet out there, but for those that don’t need the latest processor, it’s a very competent & quite slick unit.
Basically I use mine for streaming and some browsing, all of which, it copes with admirably.
Set up to be primarily used in landscape mode (this positions the selfie camera at the top & the speakers to the left & right, if you have it in portrait mode, the cam is middle right with the speakers top & bottom), but this is how you’d want it for video chatting or watching video.
A nice touch is that it has four speakers, two left, two right…. disappointingly, they’re as poor as you’d expect from a tablet, functional, but very tinnie sounding.
There’s a charger & cable included, but strangely, there’s a docking connection along the bottom edge….but no docking cable/stand.
It’s provided with a rubbery case, so should help survive the occasion drop (I’d guess it would be near impossible to find a replacement case, with this being a niche brand). There’s also a double ended stylus included… unfortunately only the thick end works, the thin end doesn’t register on the screen, even without the screen protector.
However, overall, it’s a very competent tablet.

    Pros
    – very well made, feels more premium than not
    – a few little extras included
    – runs pretty well
    – pretty good battery life
    – good brightness
    – IPS
    – runs emulator games up to and including N64

    Cons
    – a little slow on the start-up time
    – no 3.5mm
    – stylus that includes a ballpoint for some reason?
    – not the best for high impact programs
    – it’s not quite full 2k (2440p, the T20 is 2000 resolution)
    – camera isn’t great (who buys a tablet for the camera specifically though)
    – android 12

I will start by saying, I genuinely really like the product. It’s supposedly in the mid range tablets but 6 months later after release I would say it more so fits with high end budget to mid range.

I’ll go through the negatives first for those who are looking into specifics.

Start-up time. Not very fast here. Seems to go through 2 load up screens, 1 of which seems high quality but is either designed to stutter on purpose or maybe the system just can’t keep up with it very well. I’d go with the former as it doesn’t seem to be inconsistent in it’s stutter. A weird design choice for a first impression.

No 3.5mm. Sure, many other tablets do this but considering it’s marketed with a bit of a gaming push. BT is absolutely not the way to go unless you really can’t notice the input lag that all bluetooth seems to suffer with currently. Apart from BT 5.3 and appropriate wireless buds that have gaming mode. Some are better than others but do reduce the impact. FPS games you’ll still notice some if you’re an avid gamer. So I’d insist going with none FPS games if you’re going to use BT. You can however get USB C earbuds these days but you are then left with not being able to get out the extra bit of battery if you have it on charge while playing it.

Stylus. Why? One end that looks like it’s designed for people who have accessibility issues, that’s cool and fine to see included. But a ball point pen on the other end? Meaning, if you were to buy this with drawing in mind. You’re either going to have to learn to adapt to seeing a circle around your pen (I found it difficult to get precision while doing this but it does work) or buy an additional add on. The stylus just seems more designed for business use or something along those lines. Meaning that either the gaming aspect or the business/general use aspect is weirdly place. Maybe I’m missing something here though. Maybe it’s just a marketing ploy to get you to spend more to buy the stylus or keyboard case separately depending on your use case.
So it does run programs like ON1 for photo editing and Krita drawing. But there is a lot of lag, it’s still usable but with the included circular silicone tip I was struggling a bit to get nice smooth curved lines because of it. I wouldn’t say it’s marketed towards these types of things but you can sort of use it with those programs.

The 2k thing isn’t really that big of an issue as even at 2000 x 1200 resolution, that’s more than enough for a screen this size. While it does give a better home screen experience, you’re still limited to 1080p (SD) for video playback on most things. Although you can set whatever YouTube videos are to a higher resolution and you will get a slightly better image quality but not at full whack and it probably isn’t noticeable to most people.

Android 12. I don’t know whether it will be updated to 13 at any point as they have released a T30 Pro that is on android 13. I would hope so but there’s only so much we can expect from a smaller company trying to enter a market of behemoths with a lot of credible history. I applaud Doogee for this though. More competition usually means better results for consumers.

    For the positives?

Well it does a lot of things pretty well for the price range, although this late after release I’d probably say it’s a little over priced at 269.99. Currently with a 100 off voucher, which I’d say is probably a more reasonable price tag at this point.

It’s pretty good refresh rate, albeit it is is 60hz and while that’s great for most users. Anyone who uses 120hz or higher in their daily lives will notice it. 60hz isn’t really going to age all that well in the coming years.

The brightness is good enough although might struggle in direct light. And the screen, even though it’s an IPS, you’ll definitely struggle in bright lights to see through the reflections. Those are the draw backs of the bigger benefits though. For travel use or casual work use with emails etc and to have a screen to watch something on. IPS is king, in my humble opinion.

It’s capable of running emulators up to PS2, where it just struggles like most do. So for the emulator gamers out there, you can still have fun with it. For other games like on Game Pass or the app store? It can run a lot but you’ll not be playing on the highest settings if you want a good FPS (frames per second) rating. Most stuff, if well optimised is still playable for sure though.

Audio quality is pretty reasonable too with a good amount of volume. Definitely too loud on full volume for my sensitive hearing but if you need it, it’s always better to have more than less!

Good battery life. For general usage you’ll get a good few hours out of it, at least a full work average work day. If you’re watching things or have the screen at the brightest though you will see a bit of a drop in longevity. This is to be expected though.

I haven’t ran into many issues where I have felt limited by it’s capabilities. Especially for the average user.
I really like that the screen will shut off with the provided case when closed, and you’ll not notice when it actually turns on and probably think it was always left open. Even just a slight lift on the edge will bring the screen up to provide to seamless transition and if you keep it unlock, you’ll get straight into being able to use it. I do like this feature quite a lot. Saves on side button use a whole lot!

As a bit of a final note, the camera is pretty abysmal considering. It works and can do a reasonable job in good lighting but be in, what cameras think, is low light and you do get a bit of a noticeable performance drop for the camera image quality. It’s at least there if you want to snap a quick shot while you’re on it but it’s definitely not going to win any awards. Good enough for online video conferences though. Although the mic is a bit meh if there’s any noise or wind. It’ll still do the job.
Some of the settings menu I have found to be a bit counter intuitive though. Like getting email notifications. I can’t seem to find the area to switch these off other than turning the volume all the way down for ringtone/notification sounds. Which, if you plan to use this as a way to receive calls and need to hear it. Might get somewhat annoying if you’re like me and have emails coming through regularly but need to see notifications if they are there, rather than opening the app to see what emails you do have.

Overall, I’d give this probably a solid 3.6, but since Amazon seems to think a full star rating system is working best for them. I’ve had to round it up to a 4 star… because math.

On a sale, it’s a good purchase if you can’t afford to spend a bit more or just need a tablet that you’re not too fussed about damaging. Although this is unlikely to happy since it comes preloaded with a case and screen protector already. The case is great for those silicone corners as well for extra protection!
