Heat your tootsies,!!!!!!!
Got this for a attic conversion ,do not have radiator into loft/attic ,well insulated ,but cat be a bit chilly in the colder bays/nights ,have on timer ,works well ,not a lot of power consumption as i take note of meter ,happy with product.
Good quick heater for small/medium rooms.
This has been a superb heater for my home office, which only has electric storage heating normally. Heats the room quickly and in ECO mode goes dormant until the temperature drops saving electricity costs.
There are plenty of other modes that use more electricity, but I have not had to use them yet.
I’ll be getting another one of these for my wife’s sewing studio.
Quiet and powerful
Worth the extra money. Bought another one that was noisy. This is quiet and the thermostat setting works well. This only works in ECO mode. The other modes H1 etc are not thermostatic. No remote control not sure why I thought it had one.
Excellent Heate
Experience efficient heating with this heater, perfect for swiftly warming small to medium-sized rooms. With three heat settings (H1, H2, and H3) conveniently displayed digitally in blue LEDs, managing your comfort level is effortless. Touch-operated buttons with haptic feedback enhance usability, while the red power LED indicates the unit’s status. Additionally, enjoy the convenience of a timer function, and when it’s time to power down, the heater gracefully counts down from 30 seconds before switching off, ensuring peace of mind.
Works a trea
Bought this for use on my boat and was a bit sceptical when it turned up, it is about the size of a kettle.
Placed the unit in the galley on my boat and even though overnight we had minus 2 degrees C outside, it kept both the forward and aft berth cosy and warm.
Extremely impressed, very good for heating small areas
Great heater.
I purchased this to heat my insulated shed. I keep tropical style plants and so overwinter them in the shed. I’ve used a tube heater for the past couple of years which just about keeps the shed above freezing on the coldest of winter night’s which is why I decided to look for something different and came across this heater. So far it’s been brilliant. 1 hour on eco heats the shed to a nicely. I’ve even set it to 10c overnight on evao and the shed is nice heated in the morning. Would have bought this year’s ago if I had known what I know now.
Great purchase for my needs. Will be used on the colder night over summer when I’m out having a drink in the shed with my other half.
Bargai
This is better than my actual radiator! You can set the temperature you want and the machine will check what the room’s temp is before proceeding to get it to the one you set. This means that it can heat things up, but it won’t be energy inefficient.
Good heate
Used to heat up our spare bedroom. It worked really well, heat’s up very quickly. Highly recommended. Only critique is that the function buttons aren’t illuminated so you need to be right up close to adjus
Powerful and quie
I’ve been looking for an electric heater that worked as a background heater. Convection and radiant heaters I’ve tried have been too localised and I’ve avoided fan heaters for being too noisy. This little heater has proved a success – it’s whisper quiet and capable of keeping my studio (big shed in the garden) warm without seeming too greedy for power. I’m just writing this review in case anyone else is on a similar search .
very quiet compared to our other ones
I think it works fantastic. One can choose betweeen 3 heat settings or ECO mode where you set your own temperature and it will turn off when the ambient temperature has been reached an on again when the temperature has dropped. It is much more quiet compared to our other fan heaters.
Smart Technology. Brilliantly Simple.
Smart Technology. Brilliantly Simple.
Small quite generally inconspicuousequally lovely to see. Warms up medium size high ceilings Games Rooms. Kitchens for early busy family risers. 3 simple Heat Settings H1, H2, H2.. Finger touch setting. That’s itFalls over – which it won’t – it beeps, calmly and shuts down. Highly recommended prestige product.
Great Little Heate
I’m really surprised by both the quality of build, the touch sensitive controls and the heat output of this little unit. I have it next to me in my garage office and its perfect, having the option for 2 heat settings and adjustable timer with the easy to use functions on the top. The only thing this unit would benefit from is a rotation setting, but I didn’t buy it for that and isn’t advertised as that so 5/5 for me!
Good heater. Could be better thermosta
This is a nice quiet heater my only gripe is that the thermostat on eco mode doesn’t seem to match our temperature gauge in our weather station. Seems to keep blowing heat way above the set temperature for example I have to set to 18 to maintain a nice 23 temperature. Our old heater which we had connected to a thermostat socket maintained a good heat temp that did match our weather station. Other wise is a good heater.
Compact, quiet heate
I already had the taller model. This one is better in that it’s even quieter, especially if you set it to the lowest setting (of three options) and smaller but worse in that it doesn’t have a remote control and isn’t quite as powerful in terms of heating power.
So it’s a good alternative if you want even quieter but can live with slightly less heating power and no remote.
P.s. the on/off button is hard to see see on the top but you get used to i
Neat little heater.
Neat and fairly compact heater with easy to use controls and useful display. It puts out a useful amount of heat in accordance with its rating. It can be heard but its not too noisy. Not had much use yet as its for a bit of quick warmth in “emergencies” so cannot comment on its reliability.
Good Heat Machine
This is a very neat and effective heater which gets the room (132 sq ft) up to temeperature reasonably quichly. It makes hardly any noise while running, and the thermostatic controller seems to work as advertised. I would have given it the fifth star were it not for the black-on-black control buttons on the top of the unit which are almost invisible unless you’re looking straight down on the heater in good light – just plain daft! I’ve overcome this (unnecessary) minus point by highlighting the important buttons with removable stickers, so I can see what I’m doing (see photo). Despite this, I’m very pleased with it.
This heater for me was a revelation in terms of the size versus the output performance.
Whilst I didn’t have a particular size in mind I was somewhat surprised by how small the Dreo actually is.
Once unpacked and switched on however it quickly produced heat and heated a small room in less than 10mins.
Unfortunately, after a few weeks, the display began flickering and then stopped altogether meaning there was no way of knowing which mode the heater was in or what the settings were.
I contacted Dreo support and was asked to provide a video showing the fault, once this was done I was advised a replacement heater was being dispatched and it duly arrived a few days later, I just hope now it doesn’t develop the same fault again.
Overall the Dreo feels well made and thus worth every penny.
Want Heat FAST TRY THIS HEATER!!
Yes the Dreo Electric Heater is amazingly fast for warming any room quickly, plus the ceramic heating element stores the required heat thus saving on your electricity bill as the heater auto shuts off only switching back on once the room cools down or the ceramic heating element has gone cold, you can also set the heater to work for as many Hours or not as you want, ie like warming up a bedroom before your bedtime!!.
So as Winter is now here, this heater could be just what you & your home needs!!.
Instant heat. You can set thr temperature and it just heats up the room.
I use it on the eco mode, so set the temperature and then when it knows the temperature has dropped below will come back on.
It’s small in size, I have mine on my desk in front of my window (whomever built the house didn’t put the radiators in front of the windows so it’s a cold spot). The good thing with this is the whole unit doesn’t get hot, and I can touch the front of the unit so it’s pet friendly. The only downside is the dials are on the top and are black on black, so I need some light to see what I’m doing. Occasionally instead of changing the temperature, I have activated the timer mode (you can set it so its on for x hours then goes off, Great for night time, esp if your using it until the central heating actually kicks in). Recommended. Would be great if it had a remote (because of the dials and sometimes I forget to set the timer or switch it off before I get into bed, and once warm and comfy I don’t like getting up, but then who does..)
Great little produc
Installed this in my 10sqm room, and it’s a perfect heating solution, swiftly warming up the space. Being just under the roof, it might take a tad longer for rooms with higher ceilings, but within an hour, my space is cozy and warm. The only hiccup lies in the buttons—they’re black and flat, making it a bit of a treasure hunt to find the right one. A small inconvenience compared to the overall effectiveness of this energy-efficient gem.
Overall a good heate
Overall a good heater, definitely wouldn’t purchase to heat up a “medium/large room”. It’s more of a desk heater or for a small room where you’d be sat infront of it.
The one I got came with buttons on the top with a white outline which others complained about but I think it’s great the way it is.
Overall a good heater but I would say it’s not worth its price range.
I really like this heater apart from the one thing quite a few reviewers mention
The good stuff are it’s pretty quiet, I like the quality of the plastics used, it’s thermostatically controlled and when it gets to temp it turns off the heat and shortly after the fan also, got all the modes you need, cut off if tipped etc. It’s a really excellent heater that works very well.
The one bad thing is the buttons on top are hard to see. They are slightly embossed, but just too ‘stealthy’. They just need a little paint in the embossing and it would be perfect. White or maybe a matching gold like then rim around the top. A simple fix that would make this a 5 star unit for its size.
But overall, really good, solid, nicely made heater.
My new office buddy!
This has easily been the best appliance I’ve bought in a very long time. I don’t know why I never thought to get an electric heater before and it’s a lifesaver!
Our home office gets very cold, so it gets particularly chilly and difficult to focus in during this time of year. I do a lot of work from home and found myself turning on the heating for the whole house to feel warm enough to work, wasting energy.
I found this on Amazon and the reviews made me go for it. I am so, so glad I did. It’s been over 2 weeks now and it’s lovely to have on my desk or next to the bed at night with a timer on – which is a brilliant feature!
One huge and surprising bonus is just how lightweight it is. This makes it super easy to move between spaces with a useful handle slot on the back to pick it up without risk of burning (as the front grate gets exceptionally hot when on for a bit).
I cannot recommend enough and, for me, it’s faultless – 10/10.
What a little powerhouse!
I’ve been using this heater for a couple of days now and I’m really pleasantly surprised. I’m running it in a decent sized living room, and although it’s never going to heat the whole room (it’s only a touch smaller than a rugby ball), having it sat 5 feet away and aimed at my wife and I, we almost got too warm. You have power options of 1000W/1300W/1500W, but I’d be surprised if you wanted it on for longer than bursts of about 30 to 40 minutes at a time. It also has an eco setting which allows you to set a temperature and it’s thermostat will adjust the wattage up and down to maintain the temperature.
I’m seeing people attack the “silent” claim. They’re right, but they also need to get a bit of perspective. It’s a device designed to fan heated air towards you…… it has a fan. It’s a very subtle droning fan noise, not horrifically abrasive to the ears by any stretch. On full power, it’s a ‘turn the TV up from 17 to 18’ droning fan noise. A PS4 in summer is CONSIDERABLY noisier than this heater in winter.
I’ve not had it long enough to comment on it’s prolonged safety but it seems perfectly safe so far. It also offers a fan only mode without the heating function. I’ve not tried this yet as I’ve only owned it in winter months, but I imagine it’d be great on a work-from-home desk.
The only downside I’ve really encountered is that the buttons on the top are very subtly etched and not coloured. If you use it in a softly lit room, you literally can’t see them. I think I might get a fine paintbrush and just paint the etched symbols white or something. Anyway, it’s a great heater, you’re safe to hit Add to Basket.
I needed a small space heater to heat my bedroom before I retired and before rising. I didn’t want to rely on the heating. So as this came with good reviews I chose the Dreo. The one thing which disappointed me was the controls being black and on a black background, which, as anyone would know, isn’t the most logical of designs and one which I would have thought Dreo would have picked up on. Everything else about this is acceptable; it may also be used with confidence to heat a nursery. Small, very economical and heats up a 10′ x 8′ room within 15 minutes. Being small and portable, I’ll be able to use this to heat the bathroom before and after a shower or bath too. I hope my review points you in the right direction when choosing your space heater folks!
Great and super quiet!
I’m surprised with this heater. It is as little as a speaker and it warms up any small room super fast and it is so quiet that I don’t even realize when it’s on!
The best heater I found so far, I am planning in getting 2 more!!
Can't Explain How Hot it is in Words
Just opened up the box and turned it on. The room im in is quite cold normally because one of the cupboards built into the wall has a huge draft. (in the attic). After about 5 minutes of this product being turned on… I am sweating. Get this if you want to be warm over winter.
Great little heate
Powerful, portable, easy to use and not too noisy. Would be 5 stars but for one annoying issue – the buttons are the same colour as the rest of the top and not indented or raised in any way. This means you have to get your face within an inch just to spot them, even in daylight. A maddening design flaw in an otherwise excellent heate
I’m very pleased with this heater, although small it gives out a lot of heat, and it’s very quiet, I put it in the bedroom to keep it warm overnight, and it’s brilliant.
It looks really beautiful and very attractive. To me it worth the price, and the controls on the top are very easy to use. In all this is a very good heater.
I would recommend it, it’s quite small so it doesn’t take a lot of space, but it does the job, no problem. Plus it’s got a eco mode, so when it reaches the temperature you set it it switches off, and when the ambient temperature drops it comes on again, plus it’s got a timer 1-12 hours, this is a very advanced heater, very modern, plus if you like you can use the fan only with out the hea
Good Produc
Arrived well packaged and on time. I have used it on a couple of occasions when the weather turned a little chilly, needs a proper testing when its really cold. On the subject of energy efficiency its difficult to know really but I did take it to my friend’s house, she has a gadget that shows the cost of the energy she is using per hour. On the upside the heater was very efficient usage less then a 1 an hour (used in ECO mode). but of course it depends on the unit cost of your own energy account. I do not have a gadget. But I’m still very happy.
Fantastic little heate
It Heat’s up very fast ,size is little larger than elbo to wrist ,very safe as solid won’t fall over , love the 30 second shut of , ONLY COMPLAINT IS buttons on top are also black so heard to see / find quickly , if they were different colours it would help , all I did was put hi lighted stickers next to the buttons so I no where they all are , I would recommend this without a doub
I e purchased a couple of these to use at winter instead of putting the heating on. My thoughts are to just use these in the rooms where are instead of heating the whole house before we go to work/school on the morning.
Initially these appear to be pretty good.
Very light weight with a carry handle on the back.
Very sleek and modern looking.
Long cord so they can be placed where required.
Easy to use, only a couple of buttons.
Safety features which switch the unit off if it falls.
Instant heat when turned on.
Seem to pack a decent punch of weight for the size.
All in all right now I can’t fault these little units for the price.
I’ll update this review in the coming weeks should I need to when it starts to get colder.
Ive been avoiding putting my heating on. Decided to get this as a cheaper alternative to allow me to go further in to winter as I spend most of my time in one or two rooms.
It heats so quickly, just a few minutes, it has great options (but not too many) for when you want it to turn on and how long for. I can’t even hear it if I’m doing anything else and even when it’s in full power mode the sound is totally fine to sleep with, it’s probably quieter than my fan.
Super happy with this. I could happily do all of winter with no central heating!
Anyone that lives in a old building with old storage heaters will understand my pain , i have spent many years make doing with a storage heater that cost a fortune to run and barely heats the home. I have got buy with oil heaters that give off no heat and also cost a fortune to run which I got rid of. I turned on my storage heater last week as It got so cold and It cost me an extra 4 a day on my electric and It’ was still freezing cold. I decided to give this heater a try as it was cheap, Didnt have high expectation and was going to just use it as an extra. I had it on eco mode and it heated up my flat evenly on 21-22.c which Is a 1 bedroom flat and my living room is about 5.1 meters by 3 meters (apparently thats 160sq ft) . having it on all day on eco mode at 21 degrees its cost me less than 2 a day to run so It’s now replacing the my storage heater. I will be buying another one for the bedroom when it starts to get even colder. It also doubles up as a fan for summer and small so easy to store. The only thing that would of been nice would be if it had a remote control and light on the top , but a small detail considering how cheap it is to run and how well it works
OMG! I live in a long, park home caravan, and it was freezing last night. Not wanting to run the boiler and central heating into the ground before actual Winter, I started searching for some sort of heater. The reviews on this were so good, I just had to get one. It’s AMAZING! Lovely build quality, dead easy to use straight out of the box, quiet and, within just 3 minutes, my living room was all snuggly.
There’s an ‘eco’ setting which means the unit switches off once the desired temperature (5c – 35c) has been reached; it then automatically comes on again once the ambient temperature drops below that setting.
There’s even a fan so, come Summer, I can cool the van down, as it’s like an oven in here in July. I’m absolutely chuffed to bits with this. It’s also small, light, and easily moved, so I can easily plug it in in the bedroom tonight .
EDIT: The first was so good that I bought a second. However, this later one, after just two weeks’ use, developed a really irritating ‘clicking’ every ten seconds when in use. I’m assuming / hoping it’s just a one-odd defect, so I returned it and bought another. If THAT starts clicking, too, I’ll update this.
