Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHeadphones are great, sound quality is amazing and fit amazingly. Noise cancellation is “ok” better than majority of headphones however it gives outside audio a weird effect so that you can still hear what is happening around you. Battery life is good but not what promised. I spent the day in london yesterday and was using the for about 10 hours on noise cancellation mode and they died soon after. Overall great headphones but just a few things that could be better.

PS: headphones do not fold up so it does take a decent amount of space in bags.

They sound awesome, the noise cancellation is really good, perfect for buses and trains, makes you feel like you’re in your own little world. The noise cancellation isn’t great in wind, but it’s hard to find headphones at are. Overall I would recommend, great price for this performance too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great headphones

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought these headphones to use at work as I spend a lot of time in video or audio calls via Microsoft Teams, and I’m very impressed by the quality and performance at this price point.

In terms of build quality, the headphones are very light but they don’t feel as “plasticky” as I expected. There is a decent amount of padding and I find them comfortable enough to wear from 8am to 5pm. I am not an audiophile by any means but I have no complaints about the sound quality when listening to podcasts, music, or ambient/background sounds. Furthermore, the microphone exceeded my expections. I have found with other headphones that the quality of the microphone is often an afterthought but that is not the case here. Part of my job involves recording voiceovers for training videos and the built-in microphone picks up my voice very clearly.

Finally, the noise cancellation is impressive for the price. For context, I am autistic and extremely sensitive to noise, so ANC is a non-negotiable requirement for me when choosing headphones. It probably won’t surprise you to learn that the ANC is not at the level of my Sony or Bose headphones and they probably wouldn’t meet *my* requirements for use in crowds or on public transport, but they are perfectly adequate for use indoors. They easily block out all of the traffic noise from the busy road outside my office window and they generally make my working environment much more comfortable.

Really comfortable, great noise cancellation, great battery life.
But the sound is awesome, paired with HQ audio, I can hear all the intricate sounds. Just a warning, you can only listen wired via USB, so no using with Ps5 or an E drum kit etc, just PC or laptop.

wanted a pair of over-ears to wear if my airpod pros run out. tested out the noise cancelling next to our broken rumbly washing machine, and these worked insanely well. they work so well, i keep missing the doorbell go, and i have two dogs who bark every time they hear it. definitely worth the price. not the most amazing sound ever but for 60, these are great.

Really good headphones, surprised at quality of noise cancellation function, although when enabled it wakes weird noises if in unsteady environment- eg bumpy bus/train, fixed by switching of noise cancelling mode.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have been using these headphones for a few months now and I am reasonably satisfied with them for the price paid but not blown away by them.

I have recently bought a pair of Sony WH-CH520s which cost about ten pound less than these Edifiers and although lacking noise cancellation do sound noticeably better. And I should say I got these whilst they were on offer, I’m not sure I would buy them at full price but they are on offer on a regular basis so that’s probably the time to buy them.

It is a shame that these headphones do not have a customisable equaliser instead relying on just a few presets which could be better. A number of cheaper headsets do have this feature and think it would probably help improve sound quality. On a similar note a little disappointing there is no support for 360 sound or head tracking either. Although I was aware of that when I bought them so can’t complain too much about that.

Think they do sometimes sound a little flat and can sometimes make vocals sound a pit peaky and robotic.

The sound cancellation does work reasonably well if you have realistic expectations of it. No ANC will ever cancel out all noise. The weakness with the noise cancellation is on public transport , they seem to struggle with stop and start of engine noise on the bus for example. Although this isn’t a major issue for me.

Only giving them 4 stars overall because the cheaper aforementioned Sony’ do sound noticeably better than these Edifier’ and that’s all I have to compare them with and noise cancellation is of secondary importance to me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Reasonably Good Headphones

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery solid quality with a premium feel and excellent sound quality that is above more expensive brands. Easy to use buttons and easy to sync with phone / mp player.
Comes with usb c charger lead but wish it came with usb c to 3.5mm jack plug also, and no indication of left or right side (apparently the right ear speaker is the side with the buttons)

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI’ve had these since December 2022 and they still work amazing. The battery lasts around a week (I use it for around 4 hours, 5 times a week) so I never have to stress about them dying while I’m travelling.

The noise cancellation is also great – completely blocks out the sound on the train and in the streets. They also don’t leak sound, unless they’re turned to max volume!

I’ll update this if they break but I’ve had them for a year and I’m still very happy with them!

I have only just tried these phones out. The sound is pretty good. For me, the fit was very tight and not so comfortable. My wife’s head is pretty much normal size and they were perfect for her.
    Review UPDATE
The only reason I bought these phones was to use them on long noisy flights. Disappointed that there is no earphone socket so that they can be plugged into an aircraft AV system.
You can use the USB C socket and then plug it into a USB A socket on a laptop. I can’t see that working on a plane though

I don’t know if this is aprocryphal but some pieces of audio burn in? I found these headphones very sibilant at first (KT KTunstall, Eye to the Telescope). But they seemed to have calmed down. Trainspotting/Primal Scream sounds OK now. Mamas and the Papas – Go where you wanna go – no sibilance. Laurie Anderson Excellent Birds still defeats them though in the highlights. Overall, they have great depth for the price and in some instances I’m hearing things I’ve never heard from a budget bluetooth headset before. Overall, very sensitive to original recording level. Useful for studio use to see how bad/good sound likes.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersIt was high time to upgrade to wireless headsets and I spent a lot of time trying to find the right one. I had tried earbuds and they really weren’t for me, so uncomfortable. So I thought I’d got for an over-ear wireless headset and this mid budget one turned out to be perfect. It was nice to get a colourful one as I’m so bored with black or grey, it fits comfortably over my ears and the sound is really good, quite impressed by the bass actually. I use it mostly when I clean the house and I was impressed how I could ear perfectly even when washing the dishes or even hoovering. The only slight issue is the sound leakage but I hear it’s a compromise, when getting over-ear headsets it is to be expected so I’d probably bit a bit comfortable with the sound level on planes or trains but apart from that it’s perfect.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI was a bit apprehensive buying these headphones since I am quite loyal to my AirPods, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The noise cancelling feature is great. I can still hear some louder noises but they’ve definitely been softened and sounds such as loud air conditioning, fridges at work and tv sounds are almost silent, with respect to some louder ambient sounds. The sound quality is really good but not as loud as I would like. that is probably a good thing since I like to deafen myself with my music.

However, there is quite a bit of sound leakage. If you use them at full blast, everyone will be able to hear what you are listening to which is why I will mostly use these for gaming and for their noise cancelling feature. I have also noticed that wearing them outside in windy weather amplifies the sound of the wind so it is harder to hear my music.

Other than that, I am really happy with these headphones and will primarily use them for noice cancellatio

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersBluetooth and wired/two modes. usb-c charging port for wired connection.
The wireless lag is fairly apalling, their game mode trims it from bluetooth 5.0’s 200ms to 80ms.
Without AptX support (bt5.1), bluetooth headphones are not good for gaming nor watching most movies.
(depending on codec used i had to change the audio delay by a ton) Fine for music.
That said, when you use these wired , noise cancellation is magical, even blocks out 85% of seagull. (worth using around town just for that)
All the levels are fantastic and ready to be put through any equaliser app you can get your hands on.
The microphone function also works very well.
If the usb port survives use for more than half a year these will probably become the best headphones i’ve owned. (to hell with you, samson, and your shoddy wiring)
But i do repeat, unless you buy aptX headphones, these are not for gamers who want a wireless connection.
wifi has far more bandwidth for that
(on account of using 10 times more power).. these will last almost 50 hours on a full charge.
With the quality these headphones, already are, AptX would have put quite a bit onto the price.
although u can get compatible headphones for less than these cost, their hardware will rarely be deserving of the new protocol.
Earbuds might be alright tho haven’t tried those for decades.

Midrange product, low-end price. The bluetooth suffers because of it but if you don’t mind wired, these are phenomenal.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersNegatives first:
    – buttons take some getting used to, to identify which ones which (bit fiddly)
    – they don’t go very loud so I often have to use a volume booster on my phone
    – during gym use, the leather ear pads get quite sticky
    – the size adjustment is too lose, it can widden just from holding them at the top
    – they don’t fold or come with a case, so I had to purchase my own case
    Positives:
    – battery last very long, I’ve managed to use them for a week (2 hours of gym for 5 days + a few long journeys) without needing to charge them
    – noise cancelling is very good, was not expecting them to be this good, I’m unable to hear the engine of bus and noise in open spaces once music is playing (very good!)
    – high bass, some may like this but possibly a little too much bass
Overall, very impressed for the price but they’re still not perfec

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI went into stores and tried on the top dogs of noise cancellation, the Sonys, the Bose 700 and 45, but they are all ofcourse 200+ and what not. I tried 2 of the lower end of amazon that I had to return (around the 50 mark), these ones have come out on top and super happy with the purchase!
The comfort is very good mught take a little time to loosen up but out of the box can comfortably wear for a couple hours

Battery life: Excellent stuff lasting close to claim

Sound Quality: for me a 9/10 especially for this price, put the bose 700 on my head and I wont be able to see a clear difference.

Noise Cancellation: This is what I cared about most, albeit its not on the same level of the 300 ones but it does an amazing job reducing most conversations near me to barely noticeable, I’d say its a decent job of reducing outside volume by about 80%.

Overall, tried many headphones on at different price points and this one is for sure the best headset if you don’t have 250+ to throw on a high end headset.
