Expensive shave. Well I was going to use this Razor for taking rough off, BUT it’s the Closest Save ever, thankyou ppl at Gillette, if you work it out one blade should last A Month or more it’s not so bad, use cheapies to take rough off first. You’ll be Surprised
Definitely helps sensitive ski These are my goto, using other blades occasionally causes skin blemishes on my neck. Using these definitely helps. Doesn’t completely resolve the issues but much less chance of irritation using these.
Good for sensitive ski I was using the newer Fusion ProGlide but I kept getting cuts and rashes on my chin, and could only use them 3 times before they’d start cutting me too much. I tried these ones, and here is my comparison with the newer Fusion ProGlide:
– They don’t cut as close to the skin as the Fusion ProGlide, so you’ll need to cut slightly more often;
– Because they have less blades you’ll need to rinse the blade a bit more often, during your shave, than the Fusion ProGlide;
– The blades last longer, than the Fusion ProGlide, before they start becoming dull and cutting your face;
– The hydration strips on the top and bottom of the blade also last longer than the Fusion ProGlide;
– Most importantly, if you have sensitive skin, these blades won’t cut you and leave rashes like the Fusion Proglide.
On average, each one of these refills lasted me twice as long as a Fusion Proglide refill.
Don't last as long as FUSION and not as close a cut!! Don’t last as long as FUSION and are not as close a shave/cut!!
–
But, as there are 2 blades only (which I didn’t realise until someone on a forum pointed this out to me..lol) I guess it is to be expected. Also, as there are fewer blades they do not get clogged up as much
–
However, I do often find it takes longer to have a shave with these blades and they do miss skin/hair more than other blades by Gillette.
–
I will stick to FUSION as my primary blade and use these when my skin is swollen or extra sensitive which happens occasionally. I just don’t think they cut close enough and miss hair too often to be my primary blade, saying that I still think these are loads better than Wilkinsons which I tried at the same time!!
–
Will safely say that Gillette is my favourite blade manufacturer/brand to use, just buy the right ones for the specific type of skin and hair you have!!
A bit expensive, but clearly the best I’ve tried. These blades are just a joy to use, even if they are a bit expensive for what they are. They’ve never cut me and each of them lasts me almost a week with daily use. Much better than other brands (Harry’s, Bulldog) and I have actually found that they cut better that Gillette’s 5 blade cartridges while costing less. Would definitely recommend.
Just what I needed, but they don't last long I suffer from very dry skin, urticaria and roscea so shaving was a nightmare. Even trying to grow out my facial hair was not a solution as just too itchy.
Finding these blades has changed all this. Now I can shave with no effect on my sensitive skin. So they are perfect in that regard.
Only downside is they do not last long, around five shaves etc blade. So is going to get expensive.
WoW Gillette really nailed it! Hi all. One sentence sums it up pretty well: WoW Gillette really nailed it!
I am 36 and been having irritation problems since I started shaving – give or take 20 years now.
Up until now – no razor nor shaver I was really content enough.
Even after shaving one way only along with hair, was not really cutting it – still, irritation was happening. 🙁
After using this Skinguard Sensitive Razor for about two months now – for the first time I can say that I have 0 irritation, and even going against the hair is not causing rash or skin problems anymore.
1000% happy with the purchase, will buy again in the future.
Thank You Gillette!
