It’s great to be able to schedule it to come on 30 minutes before I get up.
There is only theee of us in the house so rather than heat the whole house we schedule the heater to come on 30 minutes before we get up and it’s lovely and warm
Economical on low settings. Timer and target temperature are very useful. Excellent customer service
App is fully feature and can be shared with others. Heat output is very good. It can use 2kW at high power but economical at other settings. Temperature target and time can be set so the home office heats up off peak, leaving it toasty warm for the start of a working day.
Physical controls could be simpler and more intuitive but overall very good value. Govee customer service is excellent.
So warm and cosy
My room is huge and one of the biggest in my house and always gets freezing even with heating on. This heats my room up so good! I love how you can use the app to turn it on / off and I love how you can make a schedule just like heating. Great price too.
Lightweight and efficie
For a small office space this heater is perfect, the oscillating keeps the air flowing and warms the room without too much direct heat. 20 minutes adds about 3C to a room.
So Simple
I was skeptical because I have had a few heaters over the past few years – all rubbish in comparison. This one is a powerhouse, the app is so easy to use too. The heater can be set on a timer to come on/off and during this time set to meet a certain room temp , which is what I do to warm my workspace before i even crawl out of bed. Perfect! I would recommend to others. Check their website because you could snag a deal.
Heats a good size room quickly and efficiently and gives you lots of control options
We bought this heater for my daughter’s bedroom. I love how quickly we can bring it up to temperature while still putting limits on how hot it gets becaus she forgot to turn it off. Waiting to see the impact on our heating bills but I like that we have the three Wattage options. We will most likely buy another for my Mother.
We have a cold room in our house and needed a top up without turning up the central heating. This heats up the room and is easy to control from the app. It does take a few mins to reconnect once restarted, but all is good. The fact the unit doesn’t heat up itself is another bonus. The fan noise is not too loud, you don’t notice over the tv for example.
The thermostat option is a bonus.
A quite well made device that does as advertised. Works as expected with the Govee app and with Alexa however I had hoped to incorporate the GoveeLife Electric Heater into Home Assistant, or even Smartthings but sadly this is not possible. It’s not advertised as being compatible with such platforms. Maybe Govee can support making this device more compatible with other platforms to make it work in an existing smart home and not be limited to using the Govee app or Alexa voice commands. Other manufacturers are committed to making their devices more widely compatible with different platforms by adopting new standards like Thread and Matter so Govee should be keeping up here!
If you’re not bothered about using it with other none Govee smart home tech then I don’t think you will be disappointed with this device and as a smart heater used within the Govee app, it works well.
EDIT: Following this review Govee reached out to me maybe given my review might have appeared I wasn’t 100% satisfied. I still don’t have the heater working within Home Assistant but in any case, Govee customer support is outstanding and they clearly care about customer satisfaction!
EXCELLENT--BUT
I do like this and love the way you can control it with Alexa. A great little heater.
However, Don’t fall for all the hype about how quickly it will heat the room I live in a flat with an average size Livingroom and it takes about 3-4 Hours to “warm” up the room on full power (Can’t wait to see my electronic bill) For the price I was expecting something that works a little better.
Pricey
Came with 2 big scratches on the top and no markings to say what the lights mean. It’s okay but not sure why costs so much for what it does

Govee replaced the faulty/damaged heater. The new one is now the quality I expected. I’m still not sure if the performance warrents the price but great customer service.
Ok so the biggest problem is that fan has started to make a clicking noise which is very annoying now. It can be heard on video, but in reality it’s much more noticeable..
Rubber Legs came off next day.
Rotation degree can’t be limited or adjusted.

Device Disappeared from the govee app couple days after I paired it. Had to do it again.
Overall, second impression – Not ideal.
I’m leaving this review, because on the YouTube u’ll find only positive ones…
Thinking of returning it because of clicking noise.

Great Portable heate
This is a great portable heater. I live in a very old building that is expensive to heat but now rather than put the central heating on to heat the whole building I can just heat the room I’m in which is definitely saving me money. It was very easy to set up, the app is simple to use and as a bonus you can connect it to Alexa giving another option to control it. I’d definitely recommend it.
Excellent little heate
Excellent little heater. Easily connected to wifi and can be controlled by smartphone remotely. It’s great to set it off in my bedroom 10 minutes before I arrive home. I am very happy with this purchase and I would recommend this item.
GoveeLife electric heate
Smart looking, lightweight, compact and very efficient. Had no problem downloading the app or connecting to Alexa via the app. I found this unit simple to operate and with thermostat mode and auto stop it virtually works itself. A bit pricey but super quality. You get what you pay for. Would recommend.
I was so impressed with Govee I bought another heater.
After buying the smaller heater for our garden office and how impressed I was with that one bought this larger one for our living room, so in the evenings we don’t need to heat the whole house and hopefully save money on gas.
Again the heater is brilliant and I get it going 30 minutes before we go into the living room by which time with the door closed the room is nice and warm. Easy to use via the app or the buttons on the heater. Instant heat, small design and modern design. Great value for money too.
Will I buy a third????????
Amazing little thing
For it’s small and compact size, it sure does heat up a room pretty quickly, which is helped even more with the oscillating feature. Love the amount of features it packs, with the ability to pair it up with the govee hygrometer, this gives me the ability to setup what exact temperature I want me room and it’ll automatically turn off once it reaches that temperature, love it!
I like that I can connect it via my Alexa and on app on phone too.
Recently I was at work all day and kids turned it on without my knowledge, (this was before I changed the settings for it) after it being on for 8hours + it only used 2 on the elec so not bad to be fai
