Great produc
Great product delivered promptly. Bought to put on dog crates in my van. Remote works well and does just what I need it for. Only things that would make it better I would have liked choice of colour and would be good if the hook rotated.
Amazing
Took this fishing with me for 3. Nights had it on every night and the battery was still on 50% when I got home. More then powerful enough. Obviously if you have it on full power it won’t last as long but it’s strong on setting no1
Portable personal cooling miracle!
I didn’t have great expectations for this fan but I’ve – pun alert – been blown away. It’s really nicely made, well-designed, lightweight, runs for ages on a single charge; a real quality item. The lowest fan setting is ideal when it’s sat in your lap or on the table near your face, a gentle breeze. The medium and high settings are of course better when it’s a bit further away. I haven’t used the light much or the remote, but they’re nice to have. Any criticisms? The push buttons are a bit stiff, the stand is a bit noisy, I don’t really like the orange colour, not sure if the battery is replaceable if it fails… it’s still 5 stars. Runs the fan at full speed for a round 5 hours. About as quite as a fan can be and still move air.
Strong fan for size
Good fan and has 4 speeds the light has brightness settings and is quite bright overall the fan lasts about 10-12 hours on full.
The product its self seems very robust and well made very pleased with it over all
Great little fan, sturdy and easy to operate. No remote with mine
This is a great little fan and combination light unit. It has a strong hook, a sturdy overall construction and it is very easy to operate.
There was no remote with mine. So I cannot comment on the operation of that and have dropped one star as it was absent.
Obviously I have no idea how common it is for the remote to be missing and for some people it might be really important that it comes with the remote so other people might have aactually knocked off more than 1 star but I didn’t need a remote so the fact it wasn’t there wasn’t important to me.
It’s pretty quiet in operation and I don’t think it will stop anyone from getting to sleep. There are three different speeds to the fan and three different light levels for the light.
It powers up pretty quickly when plugged in but if you want to use it it at night whilst it’s charging up, take note that the charging light is actually quite bright.
3 fan speed and 3 lantern brightness
his is a portable camping fan with led lantern function, it’s in very sharp orange black colour, it’s rechargeable and i like it’s a usb-c charging port, so it got much faster recharging time
there is also a remote controller for fan and lantern control, timer function only works with the remote so i have to keep the remote properly as it’s my frequently used function
the fan is quite thick and bulky, heavy duty design, seems it’s sturdy and durable for outdoor use, i wish it’s also waterproof, so it will fit for all weather use
there are 3 speed for the fan and 3 brightness for the lantern, decent fan power, but it’s not quiet, still acceptable i think
there is a hook for hanging it in the tent, actually it’s quite difficult to adjust for the best angle, especially on desk, there is no way to tilt up the wind angle
anyway, as a compact and portable fan, it still does the job well, i’m satisfied with i
Chungus
This fan is quite surprising – it is very lightweight and yet packs a serious amount of fannage on the highest of three speed settings. It is chonky, which gives it the high throughput, but this does make it an awkward shape for holding – better to stand and hang. It is rechargeable and can run while charging, which means you can run it directly off the mains (via USB-C) or from a powerbank. Which makes it terrifically useful away from home.
I’d definitely buy this again if I lost it.
Useful features
I like that this fan is designed for camping, with a number of features which are useful. For a start the fan housing is quite tough, and can take a bit of rough and tumble. It also has a fold-out hook at one end which makes it ideal for hanging up, and the fan can then blow downwards. I’m pleased that it is a rechargeable unit, so there aren’t batteries to worry about and in fact this has a large battery built-in which has the ability to charge other devices. I have used it to charge my phone when its own charger wasn’t available.
In the middle of the fan there is a LED lamp which is effective at lighting areas downwards when the fan is hanging, or simply used as a standalone lamp or torch. The fan is easy to operate and is quite powerful for a device of this type, though I have noticed it runs a little more noisily than others that I have got. It is good to see that a modern USB-C connector is used to charge the fan, and a cable is supplied in the box. Lastly, I was pleased to see that a remote control is supplied which can be used to operate the fan and the lamp independently.
This is a pretty good portable remote control fan that will meet a lot of people’s needs. We intend to use ours for an up and coming camping trip to help cool the tent during the day. It’s a fairly chunky unit but isn’t too heavy so can easily be suspended from the ceiling via an extendable hook that pops out of the handle. You can use this as a table top unit too by opening out the larger incorporated hand grip/stand. The fan has 3 different speed options which are activated through a simple press of the fan button on the main unit or via the included remote control. The first and lowest setting is a little weak if I am being completely honest but the other two are fine with the strongest option even pushing out a good amount of air.
Inbuilt into the fan unit is a small led light. It’s ok and does brighten up surroundings but it certainly won’t be taking main place within your tent and is more of an added extra. Again this can be controlled directly from the main unit or from the remote and also has multiple settings to increase or decrease brightness. It’s a nice feature and adds an extra dimension to your fan but ultimately isn’t the main event so don’t expect it to light up huge areas.
The remote is pretty good and even has options for 2, 3 and 5 hour timers to be set where the unit will automatically power off. The battery, which is 5200mAh, when fully charged lasts a good amount of time although it will draw down more power on higher settings which is to be expected. It’s USB rechargeable and a USB-C cable is supplied. The charging port is located on the rear of the unit under a rubber bung. What’s nice is a USB port is also hidden here meaning you can use this as an emergency power source should you need to charge your mobile phone etc.
All in all it’s a great and highly portable fan with a few nice additional features. Nothing to really dislike about this at all. Good product at a good price.
We bought this because we were struggling to sleep in the hot weather at nighttime, and my old fan was super loud. This one is very quiet, can be propped or hung near the bed, and most importantly does the job of cooling you down. The remote is handy too 🙂
So user friendly 👏
Great light weight fan and so easy to use. I didn’t need the instructions to try it out. You get a charging cable and a battery for the remote control. I did a couple of experiments for you in the photos enclosed. The fan close up on the highest setting is super strong. Strong enough to blow heavy paper coupons horizontally. You wouldn’t want to sit that close up to be comfortable for long. Sitting a few feet away is perfectly adequate. Then I tried out the lamp under a heavy dark grey blanket on the sofa. It was pitch black but my camera still picked up the orange. I took photos of the 3 levels of brightness, in the dark and in full light. The light is perfectly adequate for a tent. I’m using this in my Summer house as I haven’t any electricity in there. The fact it’s rechargeable is awesome and you can use a power bank. So convenient and easy to carry. The remote control is the icing on the cake so you can set a timer for when you want to go to sleep. The buttons are easy accessible on the top manually but it’s handy to have a remote control too. I actually liked the orange as it showed up in the dark really well. I’m very happy to recommend this and I hope I’ve helped
