My daughter had the smaller bottle the previous year and moved into this bigger one. It’s perfect for school and activities out of school. Hardwearing so perfect for kids at school and keeps water the right temperature. It’s also easy to use, my daughter has been using since 4 years old.
Well made product with a useful flip lid that can be used one handed. Diameter is the same as a drinks can so fits smaller cup holders such as in Mazda Bongos.
This bottle is very light for its size, the lid is secure with a safety catch. Fast flow nozzle and breather hole for quick drink delivery. The carrier ring can be clipped to a belt attachment. Highly recommend!
This is a really great bottle, it does not leak at all ever. My son takes his to school, its been dropped, kicked around, slightly mangled and it still does not leak. Very pleased
It works quite well, easy to use, and is a nice colour. After about nine months of solid use, the lid broke though. That’s it. It’s just a water bottle. It works fine, not buying another because I want a bigger size, but not really relevant. Doesn’t leak.
I was after a bottle that could be properly cleaned after the contents of my ‘old’ plastic bottle, no matter what I cleaned it with, still smelt odd. Glass and metal were the options and I choose metal.
The powder paint coating helps with gripping it, the colours available are great, its diameter (600ml version) means it fits in my bottle holder and the spring loaded flip top is great — as are the ways the lid can be kept secure.
Early days, but this seems like a well designed, well built, product.
I filled the bottle up and then poured the contents into my measuring jug. I contained 600ml, just as described.
Expected this bottle to keep water cold for a few hours but as it’s not double skin insulated it doesn’t.
Nice bottle however looks small but is quite descriptive.
Not bad but if you want your drink to stay cold longer not recommended.
It is a really cool water bottle. It is metal based feels good to the touch. Only comment I have is that a spring that open the lid is a bit week sometimes it needs a nudge to open.
Ho acquistato la versione in acciaio inox, leggerissima ma solida e presenta un’ottima qualit costruttiva, che si nota sopratutto a livello del tappo (versione One Touch 2.0). Rispetto al prezzo ne sono rimasto sorpreso.
Pur non essendo mostrato nelle immagini e nei render del prodotto – nella maggior parte delle colorazioni sembra proprio rimosso -, posso confermare che il terzo livello di chiusura PRESENTE. Mi riferisco all’anello che si alza dal basso per impedire fisicamente l’apertura, v. foto.
La texture esterna davvero gradevole al tatto, satinata, opaca e non liscia, sembra quasi “morbida”.
Ho letto altre recensioni di clienti che si lamentavano del fatto che la borraccia si scaldi o si raffreddi velocemente, dando fastidio quando presa in mano. Questa borraccia (versione da 600 ml) NON deve essere utilizzata con bevande calde, in quanto NON termica. Inoltre, il calore andrebbe a rovinare le guarnizioni, che sono direttamente a contatto con la superficie della borraccia, la quale si scalda facilmente. Esiste la versione apposita (500ml e altre misure) che isola termicamente il liquido interno dall’esterno, evitando anche che la superficie esterna, e a contatto con le guarnizioni, si scaldi o si raffreddi.
Consiglio l’acquisto.
Everything else is fine but I’ve given it 4 stars because I don’t understand the point of the tiny hole at the top. Says for “airflow” but that comes out the mouth hole anyway? So what’s the actual point of it? Gave it as a gift and they mentioned how it just leaks water from there. Dumb idea.
Easy to use water bottles, look good, and slim bottle so it can easily be slotted into a school bag. My kids love them. They are leak proof but once we lost a small seal from the lid, after which the bottle did leak. Contacted ion8 directly and they sent us out the spare seals immediately, which solved the leaking problem. The only disappointing feature is the bottles do scratch quite easily and start to look worn out if not handled with some care, but for the price, I will definitely buy these again for all of my kids.
***edit*** I initially gave this product one star due to the reasons above. However I am now editing my review because I realised what happened. When I first purchased the bottle, I gave it a good wash and scrubbed around the nozzle area. I unwittingly dislodged the tiny rubber grommet that’s on the inside of the lid which is meant to bung the air hole in the top. Luckily, I just found the grommet the other day next to the sink. I’ve now put this back and the bottle no longer leaks. I’m only giving the bottle 4 stars because I think that the fact the grommet can easily come loose is a bit of a flaw. Luckily it came loose when washing it and not when drinking!
