I received this product on the weekend and have enjoyed using it the last three days. There are two magnets for you to use, I’ve put one of them in between my phone and phone case and it connects to the holder with ease.
In my photo you can see the comparison towards a traditional phone holder (my old holder) which completely blocks the fan grill, which is a real nuisance. With the Joyroom Holder the phone sits comfortably above the grill and I’m able to get air con coming through the vent.
The item is strong, durable and connects nicely to the grill – no forcing or pushing involved, it simply attaches to it like a vice.

The mount comes with all you need to attach pretty much any phone! It is designed to work best with MagSafe phones and cases, however, if you don’t have MagSafe or are an android user, the mount comes with an adhesive magnetic ring which you can stick directly to your phone or case with an easy separation pad if you ever want to remove it. The magnets are very strong and the mount is easy to install in your car, just make sure you have horizontal or vertical vents as it won’t work with circular ones!
