The battery is easy to install, you just need to remove two screws to install the new battery.
When the vacuuming time is more than 30 minutes, choosing a higher capacity and more durable battery will help you save time (charging time+ cooling time). The battery needs to cool down for 20-30 minutes before or after charging.

Fantastic battery never been able to have my hoover on Max power as the battery used to go flat after a min. With this battery used it yesterday on Max power I hoovered my car and house without any problems A++++++
This Lachy upgraded high capacity battery for the Dyson V7 & V8 is excellent quality. Very well made from quality material, if anything, I would say that it is even better built than the Dyson original!
Twice the size of the OEM version and also somewhat heavier. It is a perfect fit and took me no more than 10 minutes to swap out the original with the replacement, just three screws and you’re done. The battery was already charged and once installed and tested it was obvious that there is no lack of power. It seemed to me to be a tad more energetic than the original. Charge status and warning lights work flawlessly, with no problem charging. We estimate that we are getting an additional 8 minutes operating time on full power and at least an extra 45 minutes on medium (a total of about 15m high and 60m medium). It obviously adds a bit of weight and bulk which my wife finds a little cumbersome and tiring after a while, but this is a small price to pay for the extra operating time and energy. Good value when you consider that it’s cheaper than the genuine Dyson OEM original replacement, but this has twice the power and longevity.
