I must say I wasn’t sure if to invest in another breast pump. I had initially ordered the hospital grade medela pump but I found that I just didn’t have the time nor the practicality of pumping in one place. I returned the hospital grade pump due to lack of usage.
My daughter refuses to take bottle/formula so was hoping to pump again and I must say “where have you been all my life”.
The pump is quiet enough to pump next to a sleeping baby. You can pump anywhere from your living room to just before bedtime in bedroom. It’s quite discreet so you gain that privacy a bit. Just pop it into your sports bra which holds it in place an voila. Pumped twice already and got 150ml each time.
I do not regret this purchase.

My wife loves her Medela Solo Hands-Free Breast Pump! She says it’s a lifesaver. It’s compact and lightweight, so she can take it with her wherever she goes. It’s also very easy to use, even with one hand.

She loves that the pump is hands-free, so she can keep doing things while she pumps. This is a huge plus for busy moms who don’t have time to sit down and pump for long periods of time.

She also appreciates that the pump is very quiet, so she can pump without disturbing anyone else. And the Solo pump is very easy to clean, which is a must for any breast pump.

Overall, my wife is incredibly happy with her Medela Solo Hands-Free Breast Pump. She highly recommends it to any breastfeeding mom.

Here are some of my wife’s specific thoughts on the pump:

“The Solo pump is so convenient. I can just clip it onto my bra and pump while I’m doing other things, like folding laundry or making dinner.”
“The pump is also very efficient. I can get a full bottle of milk in just a few minutes.”
“The Solo pump is also very comfortable to use. The suction is strong but not too strong, and the flanges are soft and gentle.”
“Overall, I’m so grateful for my Medela Solo Hands-Free Breast Pump. It’s made breastfeeding so much easier and more enjoyable.”
I’m so glad that my wife is happy with her pump. It’s great to see her be able to pump so easily and efficiently. I would definitely recommend the Medela Solo Hands-Free Breast Pump to any breastfeeding mom.

Breast pumps need to be effective yet comfortable. This one, with its anatomic design, truly adheres to the breast shape, promoting efficient milk extraction. The lightweight nature is a blessing, making it easy to carry around. The transparent design provides clarity during the pumping process, ensuring correct placement. While it performs admirably, a few tweaks could make it even better. For new mothers seeking a discreet and functional pump, this product offers a noteworthy experience.

I want to preface this review with.. only get this if you generally have a high output of milk. This pumps suction is OK but not super strong, so it will not help massage the milk out or help generate more, it will just help you remove what is there, if that makes sense. In all it holds approx. 150mls of milk, or roughly 5oz whatever way you look at it.

Other than that though, it is a great pump. This for me has been very comfortable, I haven’t had any skin irritation and have been able to wear it under pumping bras with no issues. Good seal, I haven’t had any leaks so far.

When finished pumping, there’s a spout at the top that you can use to pour straight into a milk storage bag/bottle. The base of the shell has a flat base so can be set down if need be. Easy to take apart – dismantles into 3 parts which makes for easy clean up.

In addition to the main pump there is also the usb c charger plug and a usb c cable – finally something arrived with a plug! There is instructions you can follow but also directs you to an app which I feel is easier to understand. Charges from empty to full within a couple of hours.

Having previously owned a hands free single breast pump, I had high expectations for this item. I like that the control is attached to the collection cup by a pipe so not too heavy or bulky to misshapen my bras. However, the control pack is as big as my hand, reminding me of a computer mouse so doesn’t easily fit in my jeans pocket but does go in my shoulder bag – it also has a lanyard loop so could be attached to belt loops on trousers with a carabiner for example. The app has lots of useful tips and advice available

4.0 out of 5 stars Great accompanying app. Syncs well with device. Discreet design.

I have always preferred the Medela pumps and this one is no exception. I’ve owned a Solo with the funnel flange, then opted for the dual handsfree model, but have found that when I pumped both sides at the same time, the suction wasn’t as strong, so always ended up pumping one side at a time for a better output. This one is the best of both worlds, still handsfree but only one side at a time. Also less cables dangling about, a more lightweight control pod and uncompromised suction. So simple to use with the four buttons, you can easily feel the raised symbols so can operate by touch in your pocket. The cable input would also work with the funnel style flange if you also happen to have the cable for that too. The handsfree shell is so simple to clean and put together with only 3 parts. Easily fits into a microwavable sterilisation bag with bottle. The control pod doesn’t have bluetooth but if I’m honest on the dual handsfree one, all it did was log the time of the pumping session, a feature I rarely used as it really didn’t add anything to the tracking data. So I don’t miss the bluetooth on this one. Very quick to charge in a couple of hours and easily lasts multiple pumping sessions. It comes with a 24mm shell. I much prefer the handsfree shell to the funnel flange as it easily slips into the bra and very comfortable to use. I’ve never had a Medela shell leak on me. Once you’re done you can easily tip out the milk from the spout at the top straight into a bottle. The shells also have a flat base so you can stand them up too. The transparency of the shells are very useful during pumping so you can ensure the best fit and gauge a rough idea of how much you’ve expressed. I don’t rely on the volume measurements on the side during a pumping sessions as it won’t give an accurate reading if its not properly upright. It’s a good all rounder and worth the extra money for the handsfree shell for mess free comfort.

Really liked this pump. It helped me a lot in the first couple of days when my breasts were too hard for baby to latch on. The battery lasts at least 7 pumps of 15-20min. Very easy to take it with me wherever I go. Easy to clean too. Just annoying you have to hold it on your breast the whole time, compared to the rubber collector that keeps itself attached. Overall really good, would recommend.

I did a lot of research for the best electric breast pump, this one kept coming up and I can see why. Easy to use, great to maintain, highly recommend.

I haven’t had a chance to use it as I am still pregnant but it’s super easy to set up not too many parts to wash. It is quite and power seems great. Definitely better than my elvis I had

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersA great pump with good suction and easy to assemble and clean. However the battery lost its life very quickly after purchasing and only using a few times, so sadly returned and bought a hands free elvie instead- not as good suction but much more convenie
