Never fails. As with all of the other Miracle-Gro gardening products we’ve bought over the years, this fast grass lawn seed didn’t fail to live up to the manufacturer’s reputation for reliability. Our lawn had become quite patchy in places, so we thought we’d give this a go. We carefully followed the manufacturer’s instructions for preparing and seeding the lawn and, within a very short time, the seeds had sprouted. Several weeks later it was thick enough to have a high pass on the lawn mower. Now, after 6 months, it has filled all of the bare patches and blended in perfectly with the existing lawn. Very happy that we bought this product and can recommend it to anyone wanting to do some lawn repairs.
Did a great Job! Does a great job. There is enough to cover small area and best to put a thin layer of fresh soil on top of the seeds and water very well. It stop ls the birds from eating the seeds. It was quiet patchy after 10 day but i waited 2 full weeks from planting and the grass grew thick and very gree
Just follow the instructions. You sprinkle in on and grass grows. Not sure about the sprinkler thing on the side of the box, it’s ok until you forget and stand the box up then all the seed drops out. New grass was visible after about 5 days.
Use with topsoil for best resul I had to cover a huge amount of my lawn as was basically starting from new.
This product, even though I found it tricky to use the easy pour on the side of the box, was easy to use. I would recommend using topsoil for better results.
It is quick to grow, and with daily watering with a hose or good ol’ british weather, it was showing by just after 1 week.
I did use my hand instead of the pour spout on the side of the box though, as it just made it more tricky to spread evenly.

Fresh grass With the lawn looking a bit worse for wear I decided I’d give this a go.
So I cleared the area of dead grass and weeds and removed any stones. Following the instructions I spread the seeds and then lightly covered with compost to protect the seeds. Within a week grass had started to grow. Not as quick as the packaging would lead you to believe but grass is growing none the less. Lovely and thick, putting the rest of the lawn to shame.
I also purchased a pack of the cheaper seeds which are supposed to take longer to germinate and noted no difference in the time taken. The grass is now starting to thicken up and I will be giving it a cut soon. I’m happy with the results for the price.
A Good Buy But a Negative to Address On the positive side. The seeds arrived on time and were easy to sow with the help of the box doubling as an easy spreader of the seeds, so generally quite pleased and the quality of the goods I am assuming will not disappoint given the positive experiences I have had when purchasing other garden goods from this company. What did concern me was the fact that when I opened the plastic wrapping covering the box, while in my living room, a significant amount of the seeds fell out and made quite a mess which annoyed my wife and resulted in me getting told off. To lessen the chance of seeds being wasted and indeed people having the same problem, I would suggest a warning label be placed on the exterior of the plastic packaging saying “Warning Open carefully as possible loose seeds in plastic packaging” or words to that effect. This one negative resulted in the loss of one star which hopefully will not happen again.

Took six days to germinate but impressive bought three boxes but needed another two.
Great box has a shaker, spreader on the side brilliant idea works really well put a bit tape on some holes to have control in tight areas
