Good quality product , leads fit very well and click into position noticeably well also comes with silicone for lubricating the rubber boots to slide on easier nicely packaged does the job well
Really impressed. Easy to use, detects faults and it’s easy to delete them. Of course it won’t fix the problem, but sure it will help when going to the garage.
I pay to have my Jeep diagnostics 30 a time, I had a problem with the Jeep payed my 30, then the garage couldn’t do anything with the faults, 7 garages later still no luck, then one had it for three days, nothing ??. YouTube and 10. Fix I paid 20 for the diagnostic, tester. Wi
I bought this tool and an adapter cable to be able to clear a fault code indicator on my motorcycle. I was able to clear the fault code using this tool.
Works perfectly fine, good piece of kit. Diagnosed that a Speed sensor was faulty on my car and causing the abs to stop working. Got it changed and worked perfectly to diagnoseni
Quoted 50 at Halfords for an engine check, though this couldn’t hurt for less than half that. This was far cheaper and very easy.
Emissions sensor needed replacing, sorted and code cleared.
Great cheap OBD scanner.
Bluetooth ones are a downfall because they often charge you for using the apps.
Worked a charm on my van & now it’s running sweet as a nu
Arrived quick, plug & play. Took a couple of ignition cycles to get it started but then it read the fault and cleared it within less than a minute. A lot cheaper than taking the car to the mechanic to clear the code for a disconnected sensor so it has paid for itself. 2003 Ford.
Bought this as my daughters car kept coming up with engine management lights. The garage claimed to have fixed issues but the light kept coming back on. I now have the knowledge and backup to confidently say to a garage what the problem is. I have used it on all my cars and is very handy to learn what the engine management light is telling me.
My partner got this for his new car he already new it had an issues and tested it to see if it would appear it did straight away. He is very happy with this and said it makes his life easier. We don’t have the best of luck with cars so this would be very helpful for our next unfortunate even with the car.
Brilliant piece of kit simple to use – no need to look up codes on vehicle websites as this biant price of kit knows them ( only used on fords and Nissan’s so far – highly recommend as a back up or even your main reader if you only work on 1 make of ca
This is pretty much “plug and play” once you have read the instructions. Sorted my issues without fuss and handy to keep in the tool-box for other occasions. Even better value as got on a “Black Friday” deal so saved a bit as well- what is not to like.
This put my mind at rest. I had an alarm come up with regards to the engine management system and was worried it was a major problem, as with all these things it come at the most inconvenient time and the garage could not have a look at it for a few days. so I got this and followed the very simple instruction and found it was only the glow plug control so it was ok to use the car with out causing any damage.
Previously had engine management light on my 2017 Honda Civic diesel, cleared by the garage as the O2 sensor and decided to see if it came on again before replacing. 6 months later and whilst away on holiday it returned, unsure if it was the same fault and not keen to pay the garage nearly 100 I opted for this beauty. Arrived next day as promised, worked perfectly as per instructions, read the code – O2 sensor, cleared it. Was peace of mind for the journey back. Would definitely recommend this product.
I have a 2010 BMW 318d and had an engine management light on with trouble with it stopping and starting and randomly putting itself in limp mode. Bought this to see what the problem was, it promptly gave me the code which I googled. Found out that the egr was faulty. A quick youtube told me it probably needed a clean, so I stripped it out cleaned it put it back together. No more engine management light. For 23ish you really cant go wrong for something that would be more like 70 in a garage to to get the code.
A quality unit easy to operate & feeds you loads of information. This allows you to decide as to DiY or Garage Workshop. Sensors can be read & reset when fault is cleared. I would certainly recommend it. Very cheap for what it can do. Great to keep a check on your car.
Good tool does exactly what it says I compared it with my Mechanic friends more expensive and professional unit and got exactly the same result so happy with my purchase
Good, reliable product that I used to diagnose a fault code on my 2014 Seat Mii. I wish that it had some additional features but for the price paid, this is maybe asking too much.
Plug and play it’s that easy.
I recently had issues with different engine management lights and thought I would try this out before torturing my mechanic.
My adblue hadn’t been working in a while and wasn’t reading the level correctly after a Nox sensor replacement.
I thought I would try this out to reset the engine management light that was coming on intermittently and showing low level of adblue even though it was full.
Simple to plug in , and ready to use in 20 seconds.
Screen is bright, clear and functions are easy to use.
Within 30 seconds it will complete a fault code search and it will show a brief description, which can then be confirmed on google.
But worth confirming or checking some of the forums online too as some codes can cover a couple of issues.
It was easy then to clear the fault code and run another scan to confirm.
At this price it’s obviously limited to what can be done on this compared to more expensive models, but ideal for the part time wannabe mechanic!
Anything more complicated should be done by the experts anyway!
Highly recommended
