Bought this whilst I was holiday and my engine warning light came on.
Brilliant piece of kit, easy to use, easy to read and easy to erase the code (if appropriate)
I recently bought this OBD2 car fault reader and I’m very pleased with it. It’s extremely easy to use, with a simple setup and clear menu options that make reading fault codes quick and hassle-free. Even if you’re not particularly knowledgeable about cars, it’s straightforward to figure out.
The device is also very portable thanks to its compact and lightweight design. It fits neatly in the glove box, making it handy to keep in the car whenever needed.
A nice bonus is the soft carry pouch included with it, which helps keep the reader and cable together and protected when stored away. Overall, it’s a practical and reliable diagnostic tool that offers excellent value for money.
For the price it works great!! I picked the fault up on a 2019 Skoda Fabia. It told me what ot was etc. It arrived early,. It looks robust, it’s simple to use. I really like it. I had another one which wasn’t anywhere near as good as this. While I’ve only used it on one car it worked great, so I would recommend it. Its well boxed, come with a wee bag to keep it in, and the manual is easy to read… not that you need to spend a lot of time on it. Its a plug in and scan very easy.
Works with honda cb650 and Kawasaki z900
Build quality is very good.
With the right adapter cable, I was able to use this with
cb650 eclutch 2025 model
z900 2026 model
It can even clear codes on the bikes.
I picked this up to avoid unnecessary trips to the garage for minor engine lights, and it’s been a very useful bit of kit. It plugs straight into the OBD2 port and powers on instantly — no batteries or setup needed, which makes it easy to use even if you’re not particularly technical.
The screen is clear and easy to read, and navigating the menus is straightforward. It quickly reads and clears fault codes, and gives a brief description so you’ve got an idea of what’s going on before deciding whether it needs further attention. For basic diagnostics, it does exactly what you need without overcomplicating things.
Build quality is solid for the price, and the buttons feel responsive. It’s compact enough to keep in the glovebox, which is handy if a warning light comes on while you’re out.
The only limitation is that it’s focused on engine fault codes rather than deeper diagnostics, but that’s expected at this level and price point.
Overall: A dependable, easy-to-use scanner that gives you quick insight into engine issues. Ideal for everyday drivers who want a bit more control before heading to a mechanic.
When that dreaded “check engine” light illuminates on your dashboard, the feeling of panic is immediate. The MOTOPOWER MP69033 OBD2 Scanner is the ultimate antidote to that sinking feeling. This isn’t just a gadget for car enthusiasts; it’s an essential tool for any driver who wants to take back control from the mechanic’s garage.
The first thing you’ll notice is the simplicity. It’s a true plug-and-play device. No complicated setup, no need for batteries, and no confusing menus. I simply located my car’s OBD2 port, plugged it in, and within seconds, I had a clear, concise diagnosis. The screen is easy to read, and the user-friendly interface guides you through the process of reading codes, viewing live data, and even erasing the codes once the issue is fixed.
I used this scanner on a family member’s car that had been having some rough idling issues. The MOTOPOWER MP69033 quickly pulled a specific fault code, and its built-in library provided a clear definition. Instead of paying a mechanic to “diagnose” the problem, I was able to pinpoint it myself, order the exact part needed, and save a significant amount of money. The scanner paid for itself on the first use.
While it’s a basic model, it’s a powerhouse for its price point. It does exactly what it promises: it gives you the power to understand your car’s basic health and empowers you to make informed decisions. For anyone who’s ever felt intimidated by a car problem, this little tool is a game-changer. It’s a small investment that provides immense peace of mind and saves you from the unnecessary costs of guesswork and unnecessary repairs.
Quality product 👍
Good quality product , leads fit very well and click into position noticeably well also comes with silicone for lubricating the rubber boots to slide on easier nicely packaged does the job well
Good little device
Really impressed. Easy to use, detects faults and it’s easy to delete them. Of course it won’t fix the problem, but sure it will help when going to the garage.
It works
I pay to have my Jeep diagnostics 30 a time, I had a problem with the Jeep payed my 30, then the garage couldn’t do anything with the faults, 7 garages later still no luck, then one had it for three days, nothing ??. YouTube and 10. Fix I paid 20 for the diagnostic, tester. Wi
Did the job
I bought this tool and an adapter cable to be able to clear a fault code indicator on my motorcycle. I was able to clear the fault code using this tool.
Works grea
Works perfectly fine, good piece of kit. Diagnosed that a Speed sensor was faulty on my car and causing the abs to stop working. Got it changed and worked perfectly to diagnoseni
Parfait.
Great cheap scanne
Great cheap OBD scanner.
Bluetooth ones are a downfall because they often charge you for using the apps.
Worked a charm on my van & now it’s running sweet as a nu
Perfect for the Price
Quoted 50 at Halfords for an engine check, though this couldn’t hurt for less than half that. This was far cheaper and very easy.
Emissions sensor needed replacing, sorted and code cleared.
Does what it says
Arrived quick, plug & play. Took a couple of ignition cycles to get it started but then it read the fault and cleared it within less than a minute. A lot cheaper than taking the car to the mechanic to clear the code for a disconnected sensor so it has paid for itself. 2003 Ford.
Essential Ki
Bought this as my daughters car kept coming up with engine management lights. The garage claimed to have fixed issues but the light kept coming back on. I now have the knowledge and backup to confidently say to a garage what the problem is. I have used it on all my cars and is very handy to learn what the engine management light is telling me.
Dose the job
My partner got this for his new car he already new it had an issues and tested it to see if it would appear it did straight away. He is very happy with this and said it makes his life easier. We don’t have the best of luck with cars so this would be very helpful for our next unfortunate even with the car.
Fantastic
Brilliant piece of kit simple to use – no need to look up codes on vehicle websites as this biant price of kit knows them ( only used on fords and Nissan’s so far – highly recommend as a back up or even your main reader if you only work on 1 make of ca
Did the job without fuss
This is pretty much “plug and play” once you have read the instructions. Sorted my issues without fuss and handy to keep in the tool-box for other occasions. Even better value as got on a “Black Friday” deal so saved a bit as well- what is not to like.
Perfec
This put my mind at rest. I had an alarm come up with regards to the engine management system and was worried it was a major problem, as with all these things it come at the most inconvenient time and the garage could not have a look at it for a few days. so I got this and followed the very simple instruction and found it was only the glow plug control so it was ok to use the car with out causing any damage.
Great bit of ki
I have a 2010 BMW 318d and had an engine management light on with trouble with it stopping and starting and randomly putting itself in limp mode. Bought this to see what the problem was, it promptly gave me the code which I googled. Found out that the egr was faulty. A quick youtube told me it probably needed a clean, so I stripped it out cleaned it put it back together. No more engine management light. For 23ish you really cant go wrong for something that would be more like 70 in a garage to to get the code.
Worked perfectly
Previously had engine management light on my 2017 Honda Civic diesel, cleared by the garage as the O2 sensor and decided to see if it came on again before replacing. 6 months later and whilst away on holiday it returned, unsure if it was the same fault and not keen to pay the garage nearly 100 I opted for this beauty. Arrived next day as promised, worked perfectly as per instructions, read the code – O2 sensor, cleared it. Was peace of mind for the journey back. Would definitely recommend this product.
OBD11 Excellent piece of kit.
A quality unit easy to operate & feeds you loads of information. This allows you to decide as to DiY or Garage Workshop. Sensors can be read & reset when fault is cleared. I would certainly recommend it. Very cheap for what it can do. Great to keep a check on your car.
Value for money
Good tool does exactly what it says I compared it with my Mechanic friends more expensive and professional unit and got exactly the same result so happy with my purchase
Clear, cheap and easy to use but lacking in features
Good, reliable product that I used to diagnose a fault code on my 2014 Seat Mii. I wish that it had some additional features but for the price paid, this is maybe asking too much.
Plug and play it’s that easy.
I recently had issues with different engine management lights and thought I would try this out before torturing my mechanic.
My adblue hadn’t been working in a while and wasn’t reading the level correctly after a Nox sensor replacement.
I thought I would try this out to reset the engine management light that was coming on intermittently and showing low level of adblue even though it was full.
Simple to plug in , and ready to use in 20 seconds.
Screen is bright, clear and functions are easy to use.
Within 30 seconds it will complete a fault code search and it will show a brief description, which can then be confirmed on google.
But worth confirming or checking some of the forums online too as some codes can cover a couple of issues.
It was easy then to clear the fault code and run another scan to confirm.
At this price it’s obviously limited to what can be done on this compared to more expensive models, but ideal for the part time wannabe mechanic!
Anything more complicated should be done by the experts anyway!
Highly recommended
