Exactly as on the tin!
These are a small lightweight pair of LED dual temperature lights. We purchased then as we were having to do interviews outside of the studio and needed to be able to transport a mini photo studio to site. Having previously tested them we found them to be perfect for close small studio work. Obviously, they are not the brightest lights, but they were perfect for our needs. Neewer did not disappoint us with the build quality of these lights. Very happy with the final results. We also love that you can use batteries should you end up with no electricity on site; these can easily be purchased as they are not provided with the kit.
Great Value and Well Made
This is my second set of Neewer lights. Probably the best value for money on the market. Bright enough for interviews or general fill in a small room. Sturdy, well designed and easy to use. Even the stands are solid and well made. Cases are a bit fragile and won’t take a lot of punishment but for the saving compared to other makes you could easily buy an alternative case.
Great bit of ki
These lights are awesome. I have a small space for green screen videos, they save space compared to the normal non-led lights. They are really bright which is just what needed however they gaceca dimmer switch on the back if needed
Bright lights for small/medium rooms. The stand is sturdy. You can use baking paper as a cheap diffuser to make the light softer. It definitely looks better and softer with some diffusion. Delivery to Ireland was fast. Unfortunately it doesn’t show the colour temperature or how much battery is left on the back of the light as advertised. Also the adapter cable is very short, it kind of dangles from the stand. The barn doors are nice and work well but won’t open fully when you point the light down. There’s no batteries with the light, but the adapter is fine for me. The bags are nice and small, easy to store away, which was one of the reasons why I bought these lights. For the price point it’s a good light for small/medium rooms and YouTube/live stream work I think. Which is what I’ll use it for.

Cons:
Get pretty hot on full power on long uses which is axpected.
No way to tell what colour tempeture they are (no screen or numbers on dials)
One of my lights had a slightly bent mount (was easy to fix)
I have bought 6 of these lights as they are so small, handy & cheap. As you can see from my photos, I used them for a home studio build. They give a pleasing look. Not a long distance light like a light with a fresnel type lenses attached. Not the softest light, like lights with some dome Softboxes attached, but effective and useful with good CRI for accurate colour for daylight & warmth light look. Was pleasantly surprise by these. If on a budget, these are a great option.
Great value video lighting
Really great value LED panel for video shooting videos. The only thing to note is that when the barn doors are attached you can’t get much tilt from the light as the door hits the frame.
Lights are fantastic, and pretty unbeatable for their price point or at least when I got them. Perfect for the beginner YouTuber, Actors doing self-tapes, or even seasoned professional that just need that little something Extra.

Versatility:
Highly adaptable and versatile, I’ve used them on small youtube video setups to major high-end Commercials and music videos. provide a great eye light for actors even in daylight. and slightly darker environments (indoors or woodlands) provide good strength bounce light. Can also be used as fill bouncing off or shinning directly and in indoor environments could be utilized as a backlight as well. double the lights up behind some diffusion cloth to get an even better result.
Construction:
Solid with Metal / Aluminum build, feels sturdy, Screw on the yoke, and for the stand are made of metal which is fantastic. And Light Weight. (Have suspended them on lighting poles 25 feet in the air the pole being held by hand)
Packaging:
Comes in a nicely Designed Box, and in their individual little padded zip-up bags, padding is soft foam. Nice carry handles on the bags, never had a problem with the bags. Padding is well done, these lights have taken a beating and they are still going strong.
Value for Money:

brilliant for the price.
Only one small gripe… when I have the light up high I cannot tilt down to get a good angle of light from above as the bottom flap stops the light panel tilting…. but as I say it is only a small issue.
Great lighting product.
The product arrived within 24 hours. Packaged well, easy to assemble. Actually quite sturdy.
No sound at all which makes it ideal for video recording. Very little heat is generated whilst on.
Loved the barn doors.

Sturdy and of good quality
These lights are amazing! You can change up the brightness and change the warmth of the colour. I absolutely love these as they come with mini brackets attached to each light so you can adjust the angle you want the light to reflect. Highly highly recommend!
Great light, high quality, but tripod missing a bit and connection not as good
These are great and good value, the only reason I can’t give them five stars is because there was a bit missing on one of the tripods meaning that the tripod extension arm wouldn’t hold down on one of the tripods – it was not in the packaging so very odd it was missing and as soon as I opened the packaging the tripod extension popped out so it must have been packaged without the nut.
So I had to find a nut that would fit to allow me to be able to use the tripod.
The lights themselves are fantastic, bright and easy to use and adjust – the way the light slots onto the tripod doesn’t feel natural, the two don’t seem to be designed specifically for each other so even after tightening it is a little wobbly, but does hold the light well enough, just a shame as the light itself is very well designed and feels very high quality.

Great lights for the price, just lacking a little brightness for video, you can make them work if they are just out of frame but any more than 1 maybe 2 meters and you are struggling !!
Excelle
Bought these to use for producing videos of judging of photographs for camera clubs around the country. Well impressed with them and with the ability to not only control the intensity of the light level and tone is excellent. Very compact when not in use in padded zip cases. Only gripe is the zip cases could do to be slightly bigger to fit the heads into as it is a bit of a squeeze to get them in.
For the price, highly recommended.
I had a set of studio lights already, but they were very cumbersome to carry to shoots. But having bought the Neewer 2 Pieces Bi-color 660 LED Video Light and Stand Kit, it’s made such a difference. Excellent quality, great adjustable lighting and so much easier to transport. For the price, highly recommended.
This bi-colour model is much more versatile for my video needs. I was recently shooting in a very large open indoor space which had some lighting ambience. It was very difficult to know the exact colour temperature due to the different sources, but as this illuminates a variable balance of light the colour was very nice after setting up. The barn doors work very well. A great piece of equipment.
In my view this a nice package which includes: hardware, fitted & adjustable barn doors, a tall adjustable light stand, integrated cables (or battery power) and a carry case which gives it that extra professional look to it. The strong power output is absolutely perfect for close up video — such as doing interviews- and the possibility to alternate between yellow and white lighting effect.
After working with this for a week, I personally think that it makes a great fill light, or even primary light, with a robust build to it. For close up work it seems powerful. I like the way it packs away nicely in the small included case and the barn doors fit and work well! A big shout out to the logistics team at Amazon. Efficient as always!
These make for a great lighting duo -especially for the price! Bought as much more portable for shooting offsite and using the alternative battery power source. Found that batteries are readily available in various aftermarket brands. Overall, it is a good adjustable light in every sense. Build quality is very respectable. I have a few lights, but this is one of my favourites for when I am on the move!
After being blessed with a contract which requires a lot of travelling, I needed a very portable, lightweight light. After a bit of deliberation, this was my choice. It is certainly powerful enough for my needs and light enough to take everywhere. A real pleaser with its barn doors and carry case. I am able to switch it from tungsten to daylight with subtle nuances in between. Makes for a great shot indeed!
Did quite a bit of research before deciding to go for these, very solid stands and best led lights I have ever owned. Build quality is very excellent and I really like that they included the barndoors for focusing the light, the back panels offers color temp and brightness controls which are easy to navigate and very well laid out, all in all fantastic purchase, cant believe you get all this for less than 200 .
Just to weight things up here. I’ve had a look at my local stockist at a 500 LED equivalent with temperature control and dimming function (just like the Neewer one in terms of capabilities) and it was priced at an eye watering 470. It was nice, but it wasn’t that nice! Ultimately, I went for this Neewer duo and I have no regrets at all and more LEDs with the two combined.
Fantastic LED Kit for starters
This was one of the best value for money LED lights that I have purchased. The actual LED lights are fantastic and punch higher than their price tag. However it does not come with batteries so you will have to rely on the old wire. The stands that comes with it is of okay quality nothing to rave about really. Overall great LED light system that gets the job done at minimal cost.
Bought this to makes videos of a person sitting at a desk, so mainly the upper body. Very, VERY good for this even if you’re only using the white LEDs. Build quality of the lights is excellent, the stand are light, but perfectly adequate for holding the lights. No flicker evidence on any of the videos I’ve shot so far. They get warm but not hot during use.
I’ve been using them to shoot chromakey, paired with two Neewer 160s as fill in lights on the green screen. Works really well.
All in all I’m very happy with these lights and really pleased that I bought them.
Everything I expected and more. Arrived on time and everything was neatly packaged and easy to set up and use. The tripods do their job very well and hold up the lights with ease, the lights themselves are very solid and made almost entirely of metal. The controls are easy to use and give you great control over the intensity and color temperature of the light, they even included two carrying bags, very satisfied!
The lights them selves are of great build quality and very bright! The flap things on them come in handy but get in the way when pointing the lights down! Just means you gotta take them off is all. The stands are huge… like 7ft tall at there highest and although they are a bit wobbly when high they are sturdier than i expected.
I always buy Neewer for budget photo equipment! Never disappointed.

The barn doors are a bit loose, only gripping at a few angles.
They were clearly stored in a damp warehouse. The carry bags we’re covered in a light mildew. Nothing terminal, but doesn’t look good.
