Awesome camp cookware!
We used these pots over high open flames and they performed very well. At one point we had fire licking up the sides of the kettle and the handle became too hot to hold. The handle is somewhat darkened but otherwise undamaged.
I also ran these through the dishwasher at home and everything came out looking fine. We used the pots for soup and oatmeal and everything came clean.
Everything together is very lightweight but also durable. The metal is thin but has rolled edges which makes it strong. The fold out handles and net storage bag are very thoughtful. The handles make the whole kit very compact and everything nests very densely together. The mesh storage bag makes it so that the pots don’t have to be fully dry for storage and theoretically you could tie the bag to the outside of a pack as well.
We didn’t end up using any of the plastic serving pieces. I mainly ordered this for the pots but while the accessories are extremely basic they are nice to have just in case.
It seamlessly catered to my cooking needs during camping trips
Recently, I decided to upgrade my outdoor cooking setup and opted for the Odoland 15pcs Camping Cookware Set. As someone who enjoys camping and hiking, I was drawn to its promise of convenience and versatility.
Opening the package, I was greeted by a well-thought-out assortment of items. Two pots, a fry pan, a kettle, plastic plates and bowls, a soup spoon, a bamboo spatula, a cleaning sponge, and a mesh bag to keep everything organized. The range of components left me impressed and ready to put this set to the test.
What stood out immediately was the set’s lightweight design. Weighing just around 2.8lbs, it was clear that this wouldn’t be a burden to carry on my outdoor adventures. The folding handles added to its portability, ensuring that it wouldn’t occupy much space in my backpack.
Cooking with the anodized aluminum pots and fry pan was a breeze. The non-stick coating made cooking and cleaning up afterward a simple task. The foldable handles not only made them compact but also saved me from burning my hands in the process. It’s those little details that matter when you’re out in the wild.
The set’s practicality extended to transport as well. The foldable handles on the pots and pans made packing up easy, and the mesh bag neatly housed everything. No more rummaging through my backpack to find scattered items.
In terms of value, I could see how the price was justified. While it might be a bit higher than some alternatives, the included components, thoughtful design, and quality materials made it worth the investment. Plus, considering my penchant for camping trips and outdoor excursions, having a comprehensive cookware set like this felt like a solid decision.
Comparing it to similar products, I’d say the Odoland set holds its own. The lightweight aluminum construction and thoughtful design elements set it apart. However, if you’re someone who prefers durability over lightweight plastic, the included plates and bowls might not be your favorite part of the package.
In the end, my experience with the Odoland 15pcs Camping Cookware Set was positive. It seamlessly catered to my cooking needs during camping trips, and its portability and versatility made it a reliable companion. While the plastic plates and bowls might not be the most durable, they were certainly functional. For someone who values convenience and quality during outdoor adventures, this set is a solid choice.
Basic camping kit with a lot of unnecessary extras
This is a decently built kit that has a lot of below par extras. The items are appropriately sized to serve 2 people (unless you eat a lot to which I would say a diet might be called for). It uses coated aluminum for the pots and pans and although it feels and looks nice when new, that will soon fade away with use. I’m not a fan of the folded handles it uses; makes me feel awkward carrying them. Unfortunately, the plates, bowls and spoon were hardly usable either. They’re sized right to fit the set, but we usually ended up eating in the pots and pan. And don’t even mention the add-on sponge. I liked the spatula though, it felt right to hold and was efficiently sized.
As a starting camping tool for 2, I would say this product is just right.

Once you take it apart, you will probably never get it back together in a compact manner, take some photos as you go, to retrace your steps. This is a little bigger and heavier than my other backpack set. This set has the kettle, which I am not sure I would use. I also find the polypropylene 'bowls' to be nearly useless, and I have better bowls to take, same with the 'soup spoon'. So, once I jetson these 'extras' I can get it back together. Actually only removing the kettle solves the fit problem. This is supposed to have better heat distribution than plain aluminum, which is often a problem over a burner heat source (camp stove). I did not find this any different than aluminum in heat distribution. Easy to clean when brand new, but I know that won't last long, even using wood/silicone utensils.

Missed the sizing image so pleaas make sure you see how small they are. They are not big enough to use for a family out camping, however they are a really nice set.

Lightweight and small, good for 2 people
I really like the metal pieces on this set, especially the folding handle design. The pieces nest well – not counting the plastic pieces, which don’t nest as well – and fits in the convenient carrying bag. The metal is thin and conveys heat really well, which means faster cooking times – and hot metal pots! The orange plastic handles stay cool enough to touch – just make sure you pull them away from the sides of the pans before heating. The handles are pretty stiff (not easy) to move. The metal pots seem to hold the heat well, too.
The other items in the kit I didn’t much care for. I don’t know how food safe polypropylene is, but I certainly wouldn’t put hot food in it, or use the plastic “soup spoon”. Also not sure why the manufacturer included 2 plates and 5 bowls?? I like the idea of including plates and bowls in this kit, but not plastic.
Carrying bag
Wanted to try this out for our camper.
This set is okay. Comes with everything you need for cooking campsite. It doesn’t come with cutlery though. I like that it comes with a teapot. The bigger pot seems big enough for a bowl of chili for 4 people. I don’t like that there are only two plates but yet has 5 bowls. Makes no sense, to only give 2 plates. For me 4 plates would have been better. Another con for me is that this is not a regular size pot set for an Rv burner but rather it’s size is for a tent camper who’s Maybe hiking the trails. So I am not sure it will be useful to mess I don’t tent camp.
