I had a little trouble getting the stickers to work because the room to pull off the backside is so small, but once I did that, I was set. They give you plenty of backup stickers too (double what you need) so no issue there. The back buttons are very useful in games but I’ve always found them a little awkward to press so at times I’ve found myself taking my thumb off the right stick and reaching for the face buttons even when I shouldn’t. These grips change that. They feel great and add slightly to the ergonomics of the Deck as a whole since it’s easier to rest my fingers on the back. It all comes in a small pouch too so you can store the extra button and sticker set very easily. Everything I could ask for really. Definitely recommend them if you’re experiencing similar difficulties with the Deck’s buttons. Most of the other products similar to this are just stickers to make them more grippy or add texture, but this makes them actually easier to press.

And the contents you get in the package is a sure sign that they thought of everything. So far, these stick to the back buttons quite well, are comfortable to rest your fingers on, have no real sideways give when pushed and I have no doubt this will make them easier to use. Améliore la prise en main, mais gare à la transpiratio
Donnent un bon volume aux gchettes arrires, amliorant ainsi trs largement le confort. Je suis trs satisfait de la taille normale, un peu moins de la grande taille qui est un peu trop envahissante mon got.
Cependant, j’ai fini par les enlever pour une simple raison : la matire tant assez “mousseuse” les boutons ont tendance accumuler la transpiration au fur et mesure, jusqu’ devenir presque spongieux sous les doigts C’est trs, trs dsagrable.
Je mets 4 toiles aussi bien pour ce petit dfaut que pour la pose qui est un peu hasardeuse avec des stickers qui fonctionnent moiti. Mais le produit reste un indispensable selon moi, j’aimerais juste que la matire soit diffrente.
Work great, but one pad was missing
Works very well, however I only had 3 of the thicker pads, and 5 of the thin ones which was a bit annoying. Definitely solves the problem, but a bit more care when packing and sending would be appreciated 🙂

The kit arrived in 2 days with extra pads and stickers on top of the carry case and alcohol pads!! Was so happy! the pads were very easy to install and are very solid and it’s so much more comfortable to play with them. I was afraid the pads wouldn’t fit inside the provided steam case but they do perfectly. It almost feels like they were made by valve themselves since its such a good quality! 10/10

Great if you can read instructions.
It seems a bunch of people had trouble applying these and have rated the item down for this…. This is 100% user error! (Instructions below).
These are great, the double sided tape is very strong 3m tape. And they really do feel a lot better than without..
Instructions (for any double sided tape):
1. Clean deck buttons with alcohol wipe.
2. Apply tape to steam deck buttons, use fingers to push any air bubbles out..
3. Wait, no touching, 1-2 hours (or longer if you like)…
4. 4x remove backing sticker using tweezers or a blade. Alcohol wipe button. Place button firmly.
5. Wait, no touching 1-2 hours.
And then, you’re all done. They should be well attached, and will require a fair bit of force to separate…

Molto comodi, aderenza perfetta tramite il biadesivo fornito. Unico piccolo appunto che se vi sudano le dita durante il gioco diventano un pelino scivolosi… forse rivedrei il motivo in rilievo per aumentarne un po il grip, in ogni caso rispetto a non averli la differenza molta.. io lo uso principalmente nei giochi di racing avendo impostato il cambio manuale su 2 tasti posteriori.
Rends les boutons arrière plus accessibles
Bon kit, livr dans une housse rigide toute petite et probablement inutile aprs la pose. Assez simple poser, pensez utiliser une pince piler pour dcoller la deuxime face de l’adhsif. Tient solidement une fois pos, rend vraiment les boutons arrire plus accessibles, et vous avez le choix entre 2 paisseurs de boutons.

The back buttons on the Steam Deck are usually, but very hard to press and because the Deck is so heavy it can be hard to hold while lying down for an hour or so.
These are exactly what I was looking for, the buttons are easier to press and Deck is much easier to hold.

Excellent addition to a fantastic machine
These fit perfectly and still allow me to use the standard steam deck case. There’s 2 different height pads in the nice carry case (which is nice a zip case, ideal for repurposing when you have fitted the pads)
Pads are easy to fit and the pack includes spare sticky pads in case you mess up the fitting.
Overall it makes using the back buttons easy without being intrusive or effecting your grip on the deck

Hervorragende Grippads
Ich fand die hinteren Tasten vom Steam Deck von vorn herein schlecht drckbar. Es fhlte sich fr mich nicht gut an.
Diese Grippads schaffen da Abhilfe: ich hab die hhere Variante genommen, sie sind viel besser drckbar, viel besser erreichbar und ich mchte nicht mehr ohne diese.
Ich fand die Montage nicht sonderlich kompliziert, wie hier von einigen beschrieben. Die Klebepads erfordern etwas geschickt und die Gummiteile selbst haben eine Beschriftung, welche eine falsche Montage fr mich ausschlieen – man muss halt nur lesen.
Fr mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
Great product - some clarification and tips provided
Despite the seller saying there is only one set of stickers included, I decided to give this a shot because it would be easy enough to cut out carpet tape if necessary. Fortunately that isn’t necessary, as there are actually four sheets included (so you have four tries to get this right, or can share with a friend).
That communication issue aside, I’m really quite impressed on the presentation…zipper case with mesh that can be repurposed for who knows what (I’m putting my USB charge adapter and joystick caps in there for now, but it would also fit ear buds and a charging cable quite easily).
The adhesive is 3M and it grips very well to the SD button. Getting the backing off of something that is precision cut is a little challenging – I suggest you find a pair of fine tweezers or a hobby knife and poke at the corners until you find one that wants to lift. It’s not that difficult.
The buttons are a soft rubber and I’m finding the slimmer ones to be just enough to get access to those troublesome buttons. They do grip to the adhesive, although given how smooth the grip surface is, it can easily be peeled off, as well. I took the tip of a sharp knife and lightly scored a hatch pattern on the back of the button in hopes of giving it a little more something to grip onto. I expect this will be fine, but I do see the possibility of the buttons coming off through regular use. Perhaps that’s why they included that really nice carry case :).
Removing the adhesive from the button is really easy. Just press with a finger or thumb and roll it from the edge.
Overall, I think this is an excellent product. It would be a 6/5 if the buttons could be engineered to stick a little better. But at this price, I’m not complaining!
This adhesive extension is just great!
It changes how your fingers lay on the back paddles so that it seems much easier to press them by extending the height of the back paddle buttons. Also, with these, the back paddle is much more distinct from everything else in the back, making it easier to “feel” the button.
The original Steam Deck paddle buttons are meant to be “pressed downwards” and not “gripped pressed”, however, the way the original buttons conform to the Steam Deck grip, it makes so that we tend to “grip press” them, but with this adhesive rubber extension, you naturally tend to “press down” instead. That’s great!
I really recommend it to anyone not happy with the original back paddle buttons.
PS: I even tried the JSAUX transparent back plate with its alternative paddle buttons, but this was a much better solution, by far! The JSAUX creates a very undesirable “travel” before the click…

Applying it took a bit because I wanted it to be perfectly aligned but once it was done, the buttons were far easier to click.
I’d definitely suggest buying these.
This was something I badly needed and had been waiting for. I’m not entirely sure why, but the back buttons have always felt awkward to use. Optionally, there is a 3D printable attachment you could get made that snaps on to the back of the Steam Deck and gives the back buttons an extended feel, like the rear buttons on the Steam Controller. I think that’s what’s been missing – something that made the buttons feel a bit different than just being flush with the back of the Deck.
These come in 2 thickness sizes, 4 enhancers each, with multiple pieces of double-sided adhesive, in case you mess up (I messed up once!). They come in a neat little clamshell case with alcohol wipes and a mini microfiber cloth. Step 1 was to take my TPU grip case off and remove the skins I had already placed on the buttons. Step 2, clean and dust the buttons with the alcohol wipes and dry them off with the microfiber cloth. Step 3, pick the desired thickness and position the button enhancers. Step 4, apply the double-sided adhesive to the enhancer. A note I’d like to make is to apply one button at a time. Step 5, place the enhancer on the button. Try to get it right on the first try, because if you try to remove it, the double-sided adhesive can pull off of the enhancer. That’s where I messed up! Another note is that the adhesive pieces are mirror images of each other, so it doesn’t matter which one you use as long as it matches the shape of the button and enhancer. Step 6, put the case back on, and enjoy!
I used the thicker enhancer versions since I have a grip case on it, and let me tell you, there was a huge difference right away! I was able to play Doom 2016 and jump around and chainsaw successfully. The same goes with Team Fortress 2. These enhancers are game changers. They’re made out of a nice, grippy, soft rubber that contours perfectly to your finger tips. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking to make the back buttons more comfortable and accessible; they’re terrific!
I love the Steam Deck and its rapidly-evolving 3rd party array of unique accessoriesand this one is no exception! For such a small upgrade, it greatly enhances the tactile button travel when pressed with your fingersso it’s VERY responsive now. I felt that that the stock L4/L5 and R4/R5 back buttons were too shallow—thus, my fingers could ‘never could find them’ while playing. This easy upgrade solves the solution and comes in 2 different sizes. However, one thing I want to note is that the material these buttons are made of is a very thick foam or something similar—but I thought they were made of plastic based on product photos so I hope the longevity lasts without any kind of peeling. Regardless, it’s cheap, easy application, feels more responsive, and it gives your Steam Deck a more aggressive appearance once installed! Highly recommended!
