I installed these on LCD and OLED decks and both are working great without any issues. Love the extra protection and the look of it. They fit perfectly and are great value IMHO.
These are very cute and sturdy – the fact you get 4 is good as I feel they will last AGES! The only thing is because of the material they can get quite dusty and “bitty” like random bits of fibres. But that doesn’t annoy me but if it would annoy you then keep that in mind!
They’re comfortable to game with but i cannot speak for high intensity / fast paced games as I only really play skyrim and stardew valley.
Great for the steam deck but an absolute nightmare to install. had to go to a phone shop and get them to put them in as they are so tight.
While these aren’t the cheapest, i am pleased with them as I have tried a few other products but there was always something not right. These look great and fit perfectly. They don’t move or feel like they will come off when using. What is important to share is that they are a little tricky to fit because they are so snug. But when you do, they will feel like they were part of the steam deck from manufacture.
A lot of reviews here say this does not fit the steam deck, when it definitely does. It is just not easy to install as it is a very tight fit. If you actually read the instructions it tells you the trick to installing them.
You simply use a pen or pencil’s flat end tip to turn the pad completely inside out then pop it on the joystick. If you do not turn the pad completely inside out, it will not go on.
I wanted something to match the skin I’m rocking on my Steam Deck and boy oh boy, these are perfect.
Excuse the dirt in the photos but I figured a lot of you would want to see them used so, here you go.
They’re pretty durable, mine have yet to come off at all. At the same time, they can be tricky to get on.
They feel great on your thumb though, especially with the faces not just being printed on but rather part of the rubber with detail and depth.
Definitely worth the buy.
