These are great, but for the price I would have liked them to be a bit more sturdy. I have a 4 bay NAS device sitting on one and it feels a bit flimsy. Nothing to really worry about as they are thoroughly secured. I have no other complaints on these, they are doing exactly what I need them to do.

Smaller items slide around on the tray and network cables that have to plug in below the lip are awkward or difficult to reach especially if you have longer things above or below. Otherwise, this is the perfect solution for slotting non-rack equipment into place. Strong, does perfect and doesn’t interfere with rack above or below.

Form, fit and finish is great, the upturned lip in the back is exactly what i needed and why i purchased, normally the lip is down-turned or not present at all.
Provided screw and cage nuts are not standard, if there is such a designation, they are different gauge and thread than other ones i have, but no issues there.
Metal is a little thinner gauge than ‘name’ brand alternatives but, again, no issues.

Used this to stick my new Reolink NVR on my cacophony of network crap board. As a full 19″ width 1u shelf, it was a few inches too wide for my use. Chopped about 3 inches out of the center to retain the symmetry of the oval ventilation slots, TIG welded it together, and there you go: instant NVR shelf. Don’t know why the half-rack standard has never caught on in this country, especially for home use. Notwithstanding, in its unmodified form, its a very nice sturdy product, and a good value.

It’s a shelf, no defects, fits, comes with hardware, what more do you need? Plenty sturdy enough for any 1u-sized audio gear that fits within the shelf’s depth.

I had a different experience than a previous reviewer who noted that the shelf didn’t fit well into a Gator brand rack. I had no issues with fit of this Pyle shelf into a Gator rack.

Great Shelves, especially in a 2 pack. This was needed for one of my projects where the customer did not have shelves and was definitely needed. Strong, sturdy and easy to install in a Rack.

I purchased these shelves for my server rack.
It’s hard to write praise for a shelf. They fit the 19″ wide rack without a problem. They can hold a lot of weight (I have a bunch of routers effortlessly sitting on a shelf). When I was installing a UPS, I mounted one shelf upside down and used it to hold the UPS while I bolted the UPS into the rack, then I was able to remove the shelf after the UPS was installed. (Simplified the installation since I didn’t have to hold up the heavy UPS with one hand while trying to bolt it in with the other.)

The shelf contains a lot of air venting and various slits. I’ve been using those with tie wraps so that the routers on the shelf are not accidentally bumped off. They are also great for securing network cables.

When I need more shelves, I won’t hesitate to get these again.

The specs are good for it. Very sturdy but the size is a little two short. I have a netgear nas and a verizon cable modem on it. The shelf is just a little too small. The just barely fit on it. Not the makers fault it was mine for not measuring before ordering.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersConsidering a couple dozen of these for a large project. Bought one as a sample.

Metal seems a bit thin to support the documented max capacity of 110lbs, but we won’t be using that much weight, so it might still work for us. Screw heads are smaller than most hardware used in mounting rack equipment. I would classify this as a lightweight 1U rackshelf based on 15+ years of datacenter experience. This seems to be a good choice to hold one or two small SOHO style routers, cable modems, switches, network taps, or firewalls which don’t natively provide a rackmount solution.

As a test, once I had this installed with each of the four screws torked to 8lbs, I gently placed a static load using a 15lb dumbell on the rear of the shelf which caused an almost 1/2″ sag on a shelf that is only 10″ deep. I don’t want to imagine 110lbs on this shelf, even if its mass was evenly distributed left to right and front to rear.

Lightweight shelf, small screwheads, I disagree with claim that its max load is 110lbs.

I bought a pair of these to hold a MODEM/Router and UPS in my utility room. The shelves came with rack mounting hardware, but I simply used screws to mount them to a plywood mounting board. The shelves are very sturdy, and easily support the heavy UPS. The ventilation holes will allow good airflow to keep things cool. The finish on the selves is flawless. Very happy with my purchase!
