Although there were issues with the massage chair, the customer service and support team were great! They responded quickly and resolved it. The massage chair is really nice and comfortable. I have already recommended my friends to buy it.

Ii was important to me that any massage chair I acquired would not take up too much room and would be compact enough to negotiate a difficult set of narrow twists and turns to get it into the room where I wanted to use it. The photograph shows the chair alongside an IKEA “Poang” revolving armchair for size comparison. The actual dimensions of the chair are not as stated in the description on Amazon. Firstly, most people would have already worked out that the measurements on the diagram are millimetres (mm) not centimetres (cm) as stated. The actual dimensions of my chair are Height 102/3 cm, width 64cm and length 101cm from the back of the chair (not the base) to the front of the chair excluding the fold-up footrest which adds a further 29cm. This is critical as, once I’d folded up the footrest, the chair went into the room where I wanted it with just a little jiggling whereas, if the chair had been 66cm wide I could have had more trouble and possibly had to turn the chair on its side and then its back to get it in. The packaging is 66cm wide, 104cm long and 109 cm high and will fit through a normal front door with room to spare.

Now for the operation of the chair. It comes with a very basic manual but the chair is totally intuitive in use without any manual as the operation of each button is explained through the speakers fitted to the chair. You do need to leave the recommended gap between the back of the chair and the wall for when the zero gravity position 2 is selected to allow the chair to recline fully to that position.

The massage programmes all work well. The description of the chair on Amazon recommends placing a cushion on the seat and back when getting used to it and I found this to be sound advice. I placed a pillow to cover the seat and lower back and it was then fine. The only niggle is that the calf massage doesn’t quite massage the top of the calves as the leg massager isn’t quite long enough but does soothe aching legs but I have nevertheless not given the chair 5 stars. The rest is well worth a four star rating as the overall experience is excellent – I’d give it 4.7 if I could.

I am 165cm tall, medium build and weigh 66kg and the chair suits me fine.

Two things which would be nice are:- a white/cream version to fit in with lighter decor and moving the mains on/off from the bottom of the rear of the base to be make it more accessible but these are possible nice to haves but not essential.

Given the price, the compactness and the overall experience this chair was worth the money.

This is a great massage chair, I am absolutely hooked.. have a massage first thing in the morning and right before sleeping. Does help with recovery post work out or strenuous activity. Back does feel less tight after a month of use. Customer service from Rotai is also good.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt is a perfect massage chair and I think the only one that could fit in the place where I wanted to place it:
    – It doesn’t occupy much space and it is relatively easy to move it across the appartment
    – It is super straighforward to setup it, takes you 5 minutes to upack it and then 1 minute to setup
    – Quite simple instructutions on how to manipulate the chair – it took me around 30m to finally undestand all the possible compbinations.
    – It is a really good VFM. I was first a bit sceptical due to lower price comparing to alternatives, but then decided to give it a go, assuming it is sold via amazon, so I’d be covered – and I was not dissapointed. It is a really nice massage chair with all the product description done precisely.

And of course the best part of it – I have a massage chair at home. Stills sounds odd but feels nice.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe massage chair works well in general but after a few days use, there was some mechanic noise when the rollers moved to around the neck /upper back areas. So I returned as worried if there’s a bigger problem behind it. Smooth return process with Amazon as always.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersDuring a car accident over a year ago that was damaged caused to my lower back which can be relieved through both sports massage and an osteopath on a regular basis, however I can’t seem to get any relief at the drop of a hat when I need it so a massage chair seemed like a great compromise.

This chair in particular is actually slimmer than most of the bulky ones as I don’t have much space at home it was an ideal solution for myself, it comes all crated up and is reasonably heavy but once you unbox it the feet just slide down and zip up then you simply plug it in and sit down before running it through whichever sequence you would like.

The programmes are on there very quite a lot both on time and intensity, however on quite a few of them you can adjust the intensity on different parts of your body as well as adjusting heights to suit your exact pain points, and even lie yourself down in what they called zerogravity 2 be able to get to a point where you feel really relaxed.

There are various points that it massages including your lower back your hip, your calves which is done through a squeezing of an airbag around them which is a bizarre feeling but you get used to it after a while and even feet heating, although the main part is obviously the full back massage for myself.

And obviously not for getting the fact that it also has Bluetooth so not only can I relax with a massage but I can also charge my phone and play music from it at the same time whilst I’m relaxing.

After having had this for a couple of weeks now it really does help not only for relief but also relaxation and they sort of my go to device at the end of the day.
