Amazing
Can fit do much stuff in here. We put a large suit case and a travel on size case plus 4 wetsuits and it still seemed half empty.

Great storage solution!
Priced roof bars and hard case storage box elsewhere and was ridiculously expensive. Gave this a try and was worth every penny. Travelled 10 hours with 2 suitcases packed and had no problems whatsoever, no water leakage or anything. Great buy.

Fantastic roof bag
I was hesitant to buy this roof bag but it worked out so much more cost effective than a roof box. I was able to fit so much in and everything felt very secure. The drive was pretty quiet and everything stayed dry even with heavy rain. Perfect for our needs!
I was apprehensive when deciding to purchase a bag instead of a roof box, but it was so much cheaper so I took the risk. Well worth it!! Fitted two large heavy suitcases plus towels and coats for family of 6, plus a large dog bed and kids outdoor toys inside easily! Strapped to the longitudinal roof rails of our estate car and sat directly on the roof. I purchased a 10 non slip mat to go under just to protect roof a bit. Stayed very very secure during a long motorway journey there and back, and even had heavy rain on way out. Everything inside stayed bone dry. Used the extra 6 additional straps also, so 12 holding it on it total. Didn’t notice any adverse effect to car control and minimal to fuel consumption. Folds away really compact for storage. Would highly recommend.

We have a Mini Countryman and on a recent trip to The Cotswolds we needed to transport 4 adults and a Golden Retriever leaving no room for our luggage. This 20 cubic feet roof bag was perfect! It took all of our bags with room to spare and despite some light rain on the journey from London everything arrived dry. Very easy to strap onto the roof – we used a rubber mat to stop any grit from scratching the roof – and wonderful to be able to remove it the moment we arrived. It folds up and stores away in a bag and I guarantee will get far more use than a traditional roof box which you would use once or twice and have to find somewhere to store for the rest of the year! Totally recommended.
Great purchase
It did serve us great on an 8hr trip to Cornwall. It folds nicely and it doesn’t take a lot of space once it’s folded. Far better than roof boxes, HIGHLY recommend it.
Lots of space sturdy strong and perfect for a familys needs
Needed more space than a top box provided for family camping trips. This product really was what we needed. Loads and I mean loads of space. We got an 8man tent awning two big bags of clothes and games, a paddle board, 4 chairs, sleeping bags and more. Super sturdy didn’t budge on the roof at all. Very pleased. Not aerodynamic so makes the car feel and drive heavy but was still comfortable on the motorway, what you would you expect though. Zips are strong flaps long enough to keep them safe. Highly recommended.
So quiet on a long journey.
Quiet, when tied on correctly. When you tie it to the rails of the car, ideal for the Seat Alhambra. The long loose ends need to be tied up, so they don’t flap around. I also bought a 3mm rubber mate which I trimmed down to the the correct width but left it 200mm longer than the bag. The 3″ piece 75mm in front of the bag flapped up and down and at high speed was very noise. Stopped folded the 3″ piece back under the bag, then it was super quiet. I had 4 cabin bags and 2 large suite cases which had the 30+ kg stickers on them from the airport. The bag leaked slightly on the journey from Gatwick to Cornwall, just on the front left hand corner but thought it might have been my fault as the zip on the left was 4″ along the front. On my return journey, I had the positioned correctly and I was very confident about the water resistance. We decided to put the large hold all bag inside a black plastic bag. When we unloaded the bag after a very wet and very windy journey the black bag was wet on top and underneath the bag. All of the suite case etc were bone dry. The bag was made of heavy material and with the naked eye all of the seams were sealed and in most cases double sealed. The bag is well made and easy to fit and fold away into its very smart bag. I returned the bag for a full refund, without any problems. I wanted to give the bag 5 stars but the leak spoiled that I think I was just unfortunate. Would buy again.
Why we didn’t get this sooner I do not know, we have packed the luggage for a family of four plus three dogs in this roof bag and driven from Wiltshire to Northumberland and back, it has SO much room. Ample space for us, in fact we could even fit more. It’s water tight, solid and sturdy. Just make sure you buy a non slip mat for your roof to go under it. They’re only 10 on Amazon. Seriously recommend this amazing piece of kit for your travels- so much better than a roof box!!!! THANK YOU!
Well after struggling to find a set of roof bars for a 2017 Dacia Duster I had spotted this item.
Very sceptical about how secure these things are but this item was amazing. As we were going camping we used sports type holdalls for our clothes as they were softer and wouldn’t damage the roof going over bumps (didn’t want to risk suitcases). We fit two large holdalls, 4 coats, a dog bed (soft bed) and a few other bits.
Water proof to a point, maybe I didn’t pull the zip cover down fully down. The dog bed was at the front and was a little damp, not wet. It was however on a run for a 7 hour drive in continuous rain.
It all packs up in a neat little bad so storage isn’t a problem either unlike roof boxes.
I will say however, it doesn’t come with an anti slip mat to sit between the roof of your car and the bag. I paid another tenner for one.
Amazing roof bag though, very impressed.
It 100% does what it says
We loaded up the roof bag and set off on a really wet drive to our music festival. We arrived to a dry campsite but more importantly with all our stuff dry. Really delighted with this purchase and would recommend to others. Happy that when I change my car it is flexible enough to adapt to cars with and without roof racks.
Was sceptical about this when I ordered it but was very impressed with its size and quality. Fitted to an S Max with out roof bars, managed to fit in a small water board 5 big bags of clothes and a beach chair, all secured with the straps supplied.
Was a bit worried it might move or come of but it was absolutely fine on a nice long drive from Hertfordshire to Cornwall with no issues. We had a little bit of rain and everything inside stayed dry although like others have said the straps do get wet but we didn’t have enough rain for it to start dripping in the car but the strap was wet.
Overall this saved us a lot of money on getting roof bars and box and to me seems like can fit a lot more it. Would highly recommend this.

We looked at roof racks, and found they were expensive and even more difficult to find one that would fit our car.
This bag straps to the roof of the car with 5M straps and should fit almost any car.
The bag has loads of space, we didn’t have enough luggage at first.
Biggest downside of this is the straps fasten through thr car, so you have a large amount of trailing strap dangling in the car. With our small children there was quite a concern they would release the bag on to the motorway.
Generally though, this is an amazing purchase. So cheap and convenient that should last us many years.

we bought this for my wife’s mobile business because we need to carry a lot of separate storage boxes – the bag is sturdy and easy to strap to the roof with or without roof bars (just buy a non-slip underlay if you are going to place it directly on the roof as that will keep it from moving and also protect your paintwork). So much better than a rigid roof box as you can mould the bag will fit the shape of your luggage once the straps are tightened – this makes it very stable. Cannot yet comment on durability as we’ve only had it a month – but the material, the stitching and the straps are all well-made
What can I say that hasn’t already been said!
Having used this product on my barless car, I cannot recommend it enough for the following:
– Ease of use: it really is as simple as place it on the roof and strap it up (either to your bars or through the car doors). Simple tightening, but very secure.
– Super sturdy: This carrier simply won’t let you down. It is thick and tightens to fit the load so no room for items to slip around.
– Weatherproof: whilst I was unable to test the waterproof functionality, the layer inside is thick. I can see the straps absorbing rain and potentially causing problems inside the vehicle however I would be VERY surprised should the main carrier let water through.
– Super portable: the carrier folds back up into its bag with ease. Cannot ask for better storage!
If you’re due to go on holiday or need to carry a little more than your boot can handle, this product is second to none. Very very impressed and wish I’d have invested sooner!
Bought this as an alternative to a rigid roof box which takes up lots of room when you’re not using it. Surprised at how small the bag is for storage, but when laid out on the roof of the car, it’s got an impressive foot print. Founf it best to pack flat things at the bottom and arou D the edges to give the sides some structure, but it really doesn’t matter as the straps tie it all down securely. Have now done several trips this year with it and whilst we’ve not experienced heavy rain fall with it on the roof, the material feels as though it would so a good job of keeping things inside, dry. The zip is heavy duty too, which is reassuring and the pull over seem will make sure water doesn’t seep in. We’re chuffed with the purchase which can easily be stored inour hallway cupboard when not in use.
Ideal for saving space in the car at a low cost!
We used this for packing all of our bulky light gear when we went camping, it was brilliant for it! Sleeping bags, pillows, air beds anything we could squeeze in and see room in the car. Only downside wasn’t a major issue, we used a folding camping table as a base to give us something to work with as bag moved around a lot trying to pack it initially.
Loads of space and very secure
I don’t often write reviews though just felt I had to on this occasion.
Like most I wasn’t sure, will it hold our kit?, is it secure? Will it fall off on the motorway?
I finally went for it as we didn’t have the money for a traditional roof box and time was running out…and how glad am I….it’s amazing.
It held 5 suitcases and a number of holdalls and took roughly 15 mins to put on and fill up. Really secure, never moved (70 mph on the M25 and M3)….I would however recommend a anti slip mesh to protect your roof and add a bit of friction.
I’m 100% converted, never going to use a roof box again.
Camping
I bought this products to carry some of our camping kits prier to a trip to Croyde in Devon. It was easy to instual and had a loads of room. I fitted on vw sharan it made from heavy duty material , providing you load it correctly it is aerodynamic , that was a concern of mine because I drive to the max speed allowed and it dont cause any noises if take the strap under . I can not vouch for water titeness because it didnt rain when was in use but I have confedints in the material and design that it will do a good job . On top of the the storge is brliant as it fold in a very somall size you can fet any where in ur house .
Great sturdy roof bag
I bought this after buying a cheaper one and it shredding to pieces on the motorway. I decided to invest a bit more money into a decent one and this has certainly not disappointed. Used to go camping and stored all the bedding and sleeping equipment for 5 people and still had plenty of room. It also has handy extra hooks to put tie downs through for extra piece of mind. Once the straps are clipped and tightened around the roof bars it is tight and doesn’t move at all. The material is very thick and not flimsy at all. I don’t know how waterproof it is as I haven’t used in the rain yet but so far very pleased with it.

Can’t say if it’s waterproof as haven’t had to use it in wet weather. Seemed far too big fir the car when laid out on the ground but fitted perfectly. Holds so much stuff, used for tent, sleeping bags & other camping gear.
So much easier to store when not in use as it folds to quite a small size.
If you don’t have space to store a roof box then I’d recommend one of these.
We are mostly happy with the roof bag but the straps that come with it aren’t sufficient so had to buy more and it’s not completely waterproof as some things got wet inside as we had very heavy rain. The straps through the car were also soaked which then soaked the seats. The bag is very big and holds a lot. We had to buy the grip mat separately as it does not come with it. Would still recommend.
Excellent alternative to expensive cargo boxes
I bought this roof bag because I was going on holiday with my family and my car (A Toyota RAV4) didn’t have enough space for all of our luggage and a baby’s pushchair. I needed a solution for taking our stuff to Gatwick airport (from London) and then back a few days later. I wanted to avoid having to book a separate taxi/uber and as this was an early morning flight, public transportation wasn’t an option either.
Looking at options here on Amazon, I liked the idea of using a rooftop bag, as I didn’t want something more permanent or too expensive. I’m glad I chose to buy this product as it was just as advertised. It held our luggage perfectly and once we knew how to set it up, it wasn’t that hard. I’ve seen some people complain about rain but we didn’t have problems with that, even though it rained a little during our trip.
Our only problem was that the there was no information online about how to set it up on cars with no roof racks, but you can always figure it out on your own.
Wouldn't be without it!
Loved it. Made packing my car so very easy. I bought hook straps that fit in the groove behind the door rubber( pull away rubber near car windows and slot in hooks). Small protective rubber mat on the clean roof before putting the bag on. ( watch lots of you tube vids). It’s like a huge sturdy gym bag.plastic coating inside. Sturdy zips and fasteners. Lots of clips and straps. This bag isn’t going anywhere once strapped up. Fits lots and lots in. I bought smaller one for my clio. Shrunk wrapped my bedding , towels and blankets and out inside this with small case and shoes. I’ve talked 4 friends into getting one and 4 neighbours. You won’t regret it.xx
This product has been extremely useful on our holidays. Our car has no roof rack, so this was a great cheap alternative. The instructions aren’t useful, but it’s obvious how to place on your car, and strap down with the ratchets.
I was concerned it would slide around, but it was much more stable than I imagined it would be.

Easy to use, works a trea
The product came packaged in a lovely small box. (Remember how it was folded so you can fold it back into its storage bag).
On opening out it was clear as to how it should sit on the car roof and what all the bits do. In less than 5 minutes I’d got it laid out and ready for packing. I used the additional mat underneath to add protection and prevent slippage, but once the bag is fully loaded, it’s not going anywhere. It holds so much!!!
At the end of the journey it was easily unpacked, folded up and stored in the car boot. It came with some additional straps… Guess they are for securing to a roof rack.
We drove through a proper rain storm and at the other end you’d hardly know it.
Great product, easy to store and a lot cheaper than a hard roof box. Highly recommend.
Very happy with the bag
It fit one large suitcase and three smaller overhead baggage travel cases, and 2 shopping bags of clothes, which was enough for our trip, didnt notice any rain or wetness on the inside and we travelled 4 hours during a storm, so i guess its fairly waterproof, the straps on the 4 corners are strong and tighten easily, so there was no movement during the journey, the only negative was the fabric lip that covers the zip has velcro patches to keep the zip covered but they are too far apart so the lip folds up exposing the zip, overall very happy with it, comes in a neat bag for storage as well, if you were using it everyday im not sure it would be very siitable as it would probably wear fast, but for 3 or 4 trups a year its perfec
Great additional storage
This was a great addition to our camping getaway. I was quite impressed with the amount of space the bag has and it was easy to attach to my roof racks. As it was raining when we were packing for camping (typical), I packed the bag inside and a friend and I lifted it on to the car when we were ready. I gave it 4 stars as it was not entirely waterproof. The flaw is in the design as the hinge part of the zip is at the back and the fold down flap that covers the zip just flaps up and the water gets through the zip. Next time I will just put it on with the back to the fromt and hope that doesn’t affect the wind resistence.
wow what a revelation
we had a bug bulky cumbersome roof box for years but storing it was a nightmare
took up so much room in the garage and constantly worrying it was being damaged moving it around
this is the ideal solution thee storage bag is super thick denier nylon and kept all our clothing and bedding completely dry through torrential rain on way to France
when there we were able to remove and store away in the back of a closet so as not to affect the aerodynamics driving around saving us fuel
husband was able to install quickly and easily using our side roof bars.
was super lightweight and honestly you wont believe the size of the box when it arrives
must admit we cannot refold it back this small but it is no bigger than a small holdall when folded and fits inside a lovely storage bag inside one of our suitcases now back home with room to spare

Extremely fast delivery, only took just over a day to arrive. It was well packaged in a small box so arrived safely.
The carry case is made of a thick tarpaulin material so will keep the roof box safe whilst in storage and it comes with 6 belts to securely attach the roof box to your car. The roof box itself is made of the same thick material as the storage bag. It seals shut with strong zips and buckles, and has flaps to cover the zips when in use, so your items will be kept safe and dry.
As this arrived 2 days before we were due to go to our caravan (we ordered it last minute so the fast delivery is a big bonus!), we were able to give it its first test run straight away. We mainly packed it with duvets and softer items (we put 3 double duvets and 4 bags of clothes very easily into it!) however we go away often on camping trips and it could easily hold a couple of suitcases/tents/camping equipment too, which is great when you have 2 young children and lots of extras to load into the car like pushchairs etc.
As we dont have a lot of storage space at home this is absolutely perfect for us because of how small it folds down (in comparison to something its about the size of two shoe boxes) when not in use! Itll easily fit in the understairs cupboard or even left in the boot of the car.
I am extremely happy with this purchase, and the cost for what you get is great, we have already recommended to family and friends!
