Good looking sleek-feeling shorts that are decent value considering the detailing and the amount of work that would have gone into making them. The two zipped pockets are handy although putting anything of any weight into either of them will cause the shorts to obey gravity and move in a downward direction, which may not be what you intend. There’s no drawstring in the waistband and so you’re reliant on elastic and positive thinking and that means you’ll really need to get a good fit and the size chart in the images isn’t all that helpful.

As far as I can see the quoted waist sizes are measured flat and one side only, so to get a standard waist size double the quoted number. Also bear in mind that final number is an unstretched size and so you need to order something smaller than your waist to get a secure fit. I ordered an XL size to fit a 34″ waist and mine are fine. There’s no modesty panel on the front so they’re made with a single layer of fabric throughout and the light colours might be a bit more revealing than you’d want (or not) but overall they’re a really good looking and comfortable pair of workout shorts.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe “Men’s Compression Running Shorts” from “Sillictor” are a pair of good quality stretchy boxer-short style running shorts that are designed to be worn under a pair of gym shorts or joggers etc.

Personally, I wear these under a pair of shorts when I go out running. They’re incredibly flexible, being made from 85% Polyester and 15% Elastane. They also provide plenty of support whilst you’re out pounding the streets.

Furthermore, the compression shorts prevent any chaffing or the like, keeping your legs and other “bits” held firmly in place whilst still allowing for easy movement.

They’re very comfortable to wear which I find essential. In fact, they’re comfortable enough to have on when you’re doing a long hike or attempting a half-marathon or similar.

Another excellent feature is the handy zip-close pocket that’s located on the side of your thigh, specifically designed for holding a phone or something like that. I actually use it for safely storing my car keys, if I’ve taken the car out to go somewhere specific for a run. Zipping it closed means your key is safe and sound whilst you run. It also doesn’t move about at all in the compression pocket — so no irritation or annoyance from having something held there.

The overall quality of the compression shorts is excellent. There’s no loose threads or poor stitching on them. I’ve worn the compression shorts on runs numerous times now and have not seen any deterioration with them, despite numerous washes in the washing machine.

All in all I’m very impressed with the compression shorts. They absolutely perform just how I hoped they would. And they’re far comfier than I assumed they’d be. Recommended.

This is handy as I can keep my phone steady in it. It doesn’t fall out when running or doing another exercises.
It did fit as expected and the material and stitching is of a good quality.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhite colour:
It is a little bit risky I would say. White colour is always a bit difficult because it does not hide as much, because it gets dirty easier and things like that. This one is slightly see through. You cannot see in the photos thankfully but if you wear something colourful or black underneath it is slightly visible. I am a bit concerned that if I will sweat a lot will get worse.
It is so nice the double coverage on the area of the pockets as it is stronger and double layer protects you better. Strong zips.
Quality is good but in the end is up to you if you don’t mind to be a little bit more exposed. I recommend to wear something white underneath.

4.0 out of 5 stars Slightly see through

These compression shorts are too bad, the design looks excellent and they feel fairly well made.

There’s two zip pockets to the side so you can put your phone in if you like.

They hold close the the leg well, they stopping the rubbing and chafing

    Overall pretty good.

I often forget that some of my shorts don’t have zips with this base layer I can wear those shorts over these and still have pockets.

Not as stretchy as the other compression shorts I got recently but then I went my usual size.
Decent quality material and nice colouring.
