Nice bottle. I’ve purchased 5 of these over the year so far as I have a child with a tendency to loose named bottles at school! Although it says there is a colour range nearly every bottle received has been green apart from one that was blue.
Would be better to be able to pick the colour. But other than that. Washes well and doesn’t leak too much.
This seemed too good to be true this price but it wasn’t. I lost my water bottle exactly like this and so ordered this. It was a very reasonable price so I was skeptical and then I got the email to say delay and I thought that would be it! But it did eventually arrive and it is perfect. Good quality and brand new. Happy!
Made drinking for my mum, who had dementia, 10x easier. Perhaps as the straw went fully down so no need to tip the bottle.
Opening/shutting the lid was a bit of a struggle still for my mum. But as long as the lid was left open there were no issues. I was tempted just to break off the flap/lid.
My mum liked shutting the flap/lid due to possible spills. But obviously the screwed on lid itself pretty much mitigates this.
I purchase direct from Amazon, there is no option pick the colour. Apparently Amazon randomly pick the colour for you. I received the blue one, which works for me. Tbh, all the other colours arent too bad, I would have been happy any colour too 🙂
The main bottle is plastic, got abit of flex if pressed with enough force but definitely not flimsy. The spout is perfectly shape, no risk of of any splill when drinking from it. All the componets on top cover can be disassembled for cleanly, and all fits back together perfectly. Every part are well made, no sharp or uneven edges. The finger hook at top is very handy too, correctly sized and doesn’t add unnecessary bulk to the water bottle.
Many other reviews mentioned that it leaks. I was concern about that, what good is a water bottle that leaks, but decided to risk it anyway.
After testing and using it, I can happily report that it “generally” does NOT leak. Let me explain, most water bottles there are two places that a leak could occur. 1) where the top cover screws onto the main bottle. As long as you screw it down correctly and firmly (not too hard) this water bottle does NOT leak here. And 2) the spout covers. Now, this bit is not 100% leak proof. When the upper cover closes, the spout is covered and sealed by a piece of rubbery component. Under normal use, even when shaking the water bottle at various angle upsidedown, the seal over the spout holds. BUT if i continuous shake it upsidedown with excessive force, then I can see small amount of water droplets leaking out.
Under normal use, even with the bottle in my backpack lying on it’s side, and walking around, there is no leak. Different people uses the bottle under different condition, so, if you are likely to always violently shake the bottle upsizedown, then this bottle is not for you. For me, this condition to force a leak is unlikely to occur, so, I am happy with it.
