When the cat's away...
We have only had this unit for a week, so bear that in mind.
However, so far all is working well. Easy to set up, and charge with the USB to start.
The solar panel seems to keep it topped up ok, however a few gloomy days may mean
another charge up is needed. But maybe not. Main thing is, it works 🙂
There have been no cats dumping on the lawn since I set it up. Previously I was sure there must be
a sign ‘Cat Toilet Here’. So all good so far. Rod.
The rubber cover over the usb port does not always stay in place despite firmly pushing it in. It rained heavily last night and the rubber cover had come away resulting in water getting into the usb port. After drying this out it seemed to charge up ok. I have put a piece of waterproof parcel tape over this area for now as more rain forecast tonight.
I switch it off during the day as I feed the garden birds. Bought mainly to deter the foxes coming into the garden and leaving their mess.
